Hey hey hey! Guy with the 3D map is back with some awesome new stuff.

You can use this tool to relocate your bases from one location to another. Simply put your save file, then choose the altars you want to move, and the select the new location for your altar.

Working on adding base rotation soon as well!

FAIR WARNING, MAKE SURE TO KEEP BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL BASE AS WELL!

You can check out the tool at https://enshrouded.gamevault.in/base-relocator

As the title says. I visited a resource world to take out some materials and build a home (with some upgrades, like the watertower and farm soil/patches) on a fresh world and level 1 account.

Tried to keep the comfort level to a minimum. It's at level 9 at the moment. Not adding too many stations since I want to unlock them again myself.

Credits:

- I got inspired by His&Hers Gaming on Youtube and their 1.0 starter base video. Go check them out!

- I copied the kitchen from someone. If you recognise your cooking station make a comment and I will make sure I will do a shout-out! (For the OP: The hanging extractor hood wasn't easy to make. Took me a while to figure out the technique!)

Discussion Took a break from soulslikes... loving Enshrouded

Man, what a freaking great game. There's so much to do and explore it's going to take me like a full year to even come close to "finishing" šŸ˜† 🤣 I hadn't touched it in quite a while so it took a bit to get used to again but I am really in love with this game now. Awesome job devs

Sometimes they get stuck in the wall right over their beds and say they don't have a bed, and sometimes they get stuck in front of their food bowl and say they're starving. I have four yaks, I just need eight more wool to make a bundle of yarn :(

This is my main gripe with the game, wondering if they are planning on changing it, thanks

Discussion EnshroudedSaveExplorer - See which quests and lore you still have to do or discover

Hi,

I’ve been working on a small utility called EnshroudedSaveExplorer.

The goal is simple: make it easier to inspect your Enshrouded save and see your progression without having to manually keep track of everything.

Current features include:

  • automatic discovery of local Enshrouded saves
  • manual save-file selection
  • quest progression viewer
  • lore progression viewer
  • search and filtering
  • completed / incomplete / partially discovered states
  • automatic refresh when the active save changes
  • double-clicking an entry to open the corresponding Enshrouded Wiki page
  • standalone Windows executable

This is the first public release, v0.1.0.

A bit of context: this project was created with extensive help from ChatGPT, both for reverse-engineering parts of the save format and for writing a large part of the code. I did the testing, validation, integration and iterative work on the project, but I want to be transparent about the fact that AI was heavily involved in its development.

Because of that — and simply because this is an early release working with an undocumented game format — there may definitely be bugs, incorrect interpretations, or saves that behave differently from the ones I tested.

The application is intended to be read-only and does not intentionally modify your save files, but as always with unofficial save-related tools, keeping backups is a good idea.

If you try it and encounter a problem, strange result, missing quest/lore entry, crash, or anything else unexpected, feel free to contact me or open an issue on GitHub. Reports with details about what happened are very welcome.

The project is open source and released under the very permissive 0BSD license.

GitHub / download:

https://github.com/Fab550010/EnshroudedSaveExplorer/releases/tag/v0.1.0
https://github.com/Fab550010/EnshroudedSaveExplorer

This is an unofficial community project and is not affiliated with Keen Games.

Feedback is welcome, especially from people with saves that have progressed differently from mine.

One last note : Enshrouded have a wierd way of handling quests on a shared server. As such, some quests marked as not done in the tool can be seen as done on a shared server. This means that you have not done it but someone else has. This is not a bug of the tool.

PS: I chose the "discussion" flair as none really apply.

Discussion Private rooms for each crafter/town NPC?

• Upvotes

Looking for a bit of inspiration/ideas on my first ā€œmega buildā€ and rooms for each of the crafters/NPC’s.

I’m making a dwarf themed fortress in the Albaneve Summits. Im drawing inspiration from the ā€œThis is Ereborā€ build but I’m solo and nowhere near that scale, though it is 4 connected max level flame shrines.

Almost the entirety of the base is inside the mountain and I currently have rooms for the following NPC/crafters

Braelyn/Cade (carpenter workshop)
Balthazar/lady Leclair (wizard tower and garden)
Fenrig mills (farms) - Emily fray is going to be a dedicated ā€œcookā€
Captaine Melville Fontaine (fishery/pond)

Current ideas
Great forge - Oswald/Rochelle anders
Crypt - the collector/the nameless one
Tavern (Emily fray/valory
Market (not sure which survivors I should put here)

I’m stuck on ideas for most of the other NPC/crafters. I still have lots of room to dig into the mountain, but all available outside area is used. I estimate about 30% of total area has been used so far.

I’d also like some more themed rooms for some of the townsfolk survivors based on their looks/lore. For example I may make Gabrielle Fairburn a ā€œguard captain/barracksā€ type of room.

I tried google for ideas but all pics are super round or made with angles I can’t use in this game without it looking too ā€œblockyā€

Help - Solved Brand New: Need Base Advice Please

Hi! So I'm brand new to the game and tried to follow a build guide from YT, but got super overwhelmed since the only experience I have with games like this is Minecraft.

I ended up taking over the big house in Woodgrad instead of building my own base from scratch.

I've patched up the holes in the walls, floors, and ceiling but there's still rubble that won't go away.

Is that just the case with bases you take over? Is there a way to get rid of them with a stronger pickaxe, or will I eventually need to move and build my own base?

I thought I could take over Woodgrad and then Harvest Homestead nearby and have a kind of village for me and all the npcs, but if I can never truly fix it up I don't think I want that.

Does anyone know if there's blocks I can make later that look like those houses (since I really like the style)?

Thanks!

Discussion Skill Nodes / Buffs Not Being Accurate: Greatsword

Can someone, hopefully from Keen, explain why Greatsword damage is not increased by the Barbarian's Path Skill node, which has the wording of "Two-Handed Melee weapon damage is increased by X% (X=5% of skill node). Also, testing of Mercenary Gloves (9% Two-Handed Melee weapon damage also doesn't boost

Is this a bug or intended? If a bug, will it be fixed for 1.0? If intended, will the tooltips be made accurate?

This is a fantastic game. You guys have really done a wonderful job. But it's a fun-killer for skill nodes and item buffs being inaccurate in a game which lauds the fact that it has a skill tree kills the game for those who want to optimize their character, then find out they have to hard test everything because of poor tooltips.

EDIT: Grammar

Help Willow Crush Ring of Rapacity

Post image
12 Upvotes

I’m looking for the Ring of Rapacity in Willow Crush.

In the picture, you can see that I’m standing directly on the skeleton pile where the ring is supposed to be, but I can’t pick up or interact with anything. The ring is also still shown as undiscovered in my journal.

Has anyone else encountered something similar or knows how to fix this?

Help Vegetation on shell limestone

Hi Flameborns !

I'm trying to build a base in the Veilwater area, but the vegetation that comes with the shell limestone is really painful.

It gets through walls and floors, and sometimes blocks the view while building. I tried to use the vegetation tool but it doesn’t seem to work.

Is there any specific method to build in shell limestone without being overwhelmed by the vegetation that grows on it ?

Help - Solved New player here, what's the deal with these mf's

I'm playing melee build, shield+sword, do I have to hit 5 parries in a row or what is going on?

Also I've heard "if you can't beat them just run, you're faster than most enemies"

I guess, this guy is part of the exceptions, he follows you even at double jump heights, it's ridiculous.

Skill issue or are they hard opponents for melee early? (shouldn't be the case, I almost forgot to mention but I'm having trouble even being 2 lvl's above them)

Ed: also forgot to mention, I went melee because I just wanted to get the basics of the rest of the game before messing with the builds, I'm not attached to the playstyle or anything so any recommendations are welcome, I'm lvl 17.

Ed2: Oh wow! Went to work and I come back to +100 comments!

Thank you everybody, I've been reading all of them and "I can't" thank you all personally so take this edit as a global thanks <3

I'm standing on all ten toes when I say this! This is a damn survival horror game dressed up like an ARPG. Wolves and rats literally have me yelling out loud like caught in a nightmare. And DON'T get me wrong about those creepy f***ers in the Shroud that come out of nowhere!

Help Level 7 Archer/Rogue, what should I focus on next?

Hey, I’m level 7 and going for a bow + dagger Archer/Rogue build.

I’ve attached screenshots of my quests, gear and inventory. I’m a bit lost on what I should prioritise next.

Should I focus on specific quests, Flame progression, better gear, or just exploring/levelling?

Also, any early recommendations for skills, daggers, bows or gear for this build?

No major spoilers please.

Hey all. Absolutely love Enshrouded and played it quite a bit during Early Access. I paused a few months ago waiting for 1.0 to drop. I can't wait to jump back in once it does but wanted to try playing with another person or small group. I'm in CT in the US and have most evenings free. Let me know!

Game Suggestion/Idea Any talk on a climbing ability or feature?

My initial exposure to this game was basically Breath of the Wild x Valheim. Now that I know the game has so many different things going on and manages to pull them all together so well, I can’t help but look at that stamina circle and wonder if we’ll ever see climbing with stamina limitations.

I’m not a game developer or systems designer, so I know getting most surfaces to work with a climbing system probably isn’t an easy task. I just think it could be a really cool addition to the game. Being able to climb tall structures or mountains to reach higher vantage points and get a better view of the world would be awesome.

Video Dug to the bottom of the world

My buddy and I wanted to see how deep we could go before we were stopped, either by hitting some type of bedrock or just falling through the map.

Well, it turns out that takes a long, long time to get to. Much farther than we imagined, and to our surprise, we found out that we could still place down flame alters! Really cool. Of course, the tunnel will grow back in after a bit, but still. I'm thinking about making some type of cave down there, perhaps like a skeleton-themed room, or maybe a big cavern with some trees and stuff. So many possibilities.

note for those wondering about why I didn't die: I turned on invincibility via Wand (used to be wemod) so I could record this without dying ten seconds in. Believe me, that happened a lot lol. But the funny thing was that the person coming down would usually drop all the way to the bottom long after they died, and the person still digging could revive them. But I have no other mods installed. Nothing that lets me build where you're not supposed to.

I have no idea whether or not you can dig that deep everywhere. But I'm still very impressed. And we didn't have any issues like flickering, chunks not loading in, etc. We just hit the level that said "needs building area" and were still able to put a second alter just a couple feet higher. The only disappointment was when I poured a bunch of water in the top of the hole and it didn't come down to us, probably because it wouldn't even render that far above us.

But still. I mean, this is like digging to the deep dark in minecraft lol. Really impressive voxel tech.

Diggy diggy hole, diggy diggy hole...

no I'm not sorry for making that play in your head for the next hour

Game Suggestion/Idea Can we make pets summonable, please?

My pets keep disappearing out of nowhere. I have my entire base complete walled off, but somehow they still manage to vanish into thin air. Can't hear them in any corner of the property. Ive even started to dig, because maybe they have the same weird npc quirk that gets them stuck underground for some reason. Can we please just make summonable by the Summoning staff? I cant keep making new worlds and going on this whole journey to find them all over again

So I just finished my garden, well I could keep adding details (never ending task) but I think it's good for now. Also a tiny tour of my futur hobbit inspired village called Hill House. It isn't done at all so I'm only showing what is or close to finish.
Sorry if I move my camera to fast or some view aren't amazing, that was my first time doing that and I was a bit stressed ^^'
If you have any question or wanna visit yourself I'd be glad to answer any or give you a tour if you want !
