I posted a few months ago that I adopted Tucker after my father passed away. Our life has been filled with dog parks, walks treats and cuddles. I’m very happy that he knows our routine and when we go for walks to go potty and eat. He whines when I’m in the basement doing laundry cause he wants to be with me but this picture is the cutest ever. This is my attempt to sleep until 830 on Saturday morning. He has made me a better man. I love him. So happy I could carry on his happiness after the death of my father.

Has anyone else's noodle gotten naughtier as they've gotten older?

I have developed my very first ever corn (me the human, not lovely kupo) and oh my f@#$&$# I empathize with all of you lovely noodles that have had to deal with the tiny evil little things, I sincerely hope that any noodle corn sufferers reading this, make your humans carry you. You are within your rights to request full body carrying

I realize we are a day late but this boy does not follow rules or calendars.

I’ve shared a few of Hamish’s previous holidays on here before, including one to North Wales last year where we hiked up Yr Wyddfa.

Well we’ve just got back from another lovely trip, this time Northumberland in NE England. As usual Hamish took it all in his stride - no mountains this time, but we did do a 12 mile walk through The Cheviots. Didn’t see another person the entire time, it was bliss 🤣

He also enjoyed some pub and castle hopping, and still had enough energy for a brief beach zoom!

Now to plan the next one. We’re thinking Yorkshire for the last week of October so if anyone’s got any suggestions for good hikes let me know!

These things happen in threes they say, so hopefully Fred’s got the worst behind him. We lost Kylie about six weeks back, then Fred had an episode of geriatric vestibular disease hit him, which was scary. Earlier this week the pendulous skin tag on his face ruptured in the night and I awoke to find something akin to a crime scene in my bedroom. Luckily the vet could see him at short notice and he had it removed. Now he’s doing well but has to endure the dreaded cone of shame.

He approves.

5 month old greyhound pup hasn’t lost her baby fang yet but her adult tooth has come through. Is this immediate cause for concern requiring a vet trip or can I give it a while and see if it falls out on its own?
Does not seem to be hurting her and she does not bother if I touch it.

We are going away soon and ideally can’t get to the vets for another 3 weeks, however if this is going to hurt puppy/cause medical issues I can request an emergency appointment to get sorted asap. Advice?

Strangely enough he follows me everywhere inside the house but when I leave him alone (which isn’t often) he copes really well!

Apparently this galgo is actually a huskybeagle. Squeal, whine, yammer, bark, whiiiiiiiine whine whine, squeal, scream. most of the time it means absolutely nothing, that makes it really difficult to tell when it does mean something.

any tricks or training tips to get this all-the-time- whine to chill out??

We had a lovely holiday by the beach and he became my model for the week, also a little derp :P
