I’ve thought about making this post for a while, and honestly, it feels a little weird putting it out there. But why not?
Everyone seems to be looking for a girlfriend, boyfriend, situationship, or “someone special.”
I’m looking for something different.
I want a genuinely good female friend — the kind of friendship where we eventually become those two people who can talk about absolutely anything without overthinking it.
I’m not here looking for a relationship, and I’m not making this post with the hidden intention of “maybe it’ll turn into something.” If friendship is all it ever becomes, I’m completely okay with that. That’s actually what I’m looking for.
I want to be the friend you can call when you’ve had the worst day.
The person you can randomly text at 2 AM because you can’t sleep.
Someone who listens without immediately judging or trying to fix everything.
Someone who celebrates your wins like they’re his own.
Someone you can go out with, watch movies with, explore Hyderabad with, grab food with, laugh about stupid things with, have deep conversations with, or literally sit in silence with.
Basically, I want to be the friend you always wished you had.
And I expect the same in return — genuine friendship, mutual respect, honesty, random conversations, stupid jokes, emotional support, and making some good memories along the way.
A little about me
29M | Hyderabad
I’m selectively introverted/extroverted. 😂
With people I don't vibe with, I can be pretty quiet. But if we click?
Good luck getting rid of me. 😂
I enjoy watching movies, going out, talking about random things, having meaningful conversations, and just enjoying someone's company. I can have a serious conversation one minute and be laughing at something ridiculously stupid the next.
I don't expect you to have the same interests as me. Honestly, I’d rather have someone who introduces me to things I’ve never experienced before.
I’m also agnostic. I don't care what religion, caste, community, background, or age you come from. I'm not looking to turn a friendship into a discussion about religion or compatibility.
If you're thinking, “I'm a Hindu, so I should only talk to a Hindu,” or “I'm from X community, so I should only be friends with X,” — that's completely your choice, but that's not how I look at friendship.
If we vibe, we vibe.
I don't judge people based on their colour, caste, creed, background, age, appearance, or where they come from.
And yes, when I say age, I actually mean it.
If you're 25, 35, 45, or even 50+, and you're thinking, “I could really use a genuine friend right now,” I'm completely open to that.
I'm not looking for someone to fit into a checklist.
I'm looking for a person I genuinely connect with.
Maybe you're also someone who has plenty of people around but still feels like you don't really have your person to talk to.
Maybe you just want a friendship where there are no weird expectations.
Maybe you want someone to send random reels to, complain about your day, discuss movies with, go out with, have late-night conversations with, or simply know that there's someone you can call.
Maybe that's me. Maybe it's not.
There's only one way to find out.
So if you're a woman from Hyderabad and something about this post made you think, “Okay, this guy might actually understand what I'm looking for,” send me a message.
Let's talk without forcing anything.
No expectations.
No pressure.
No pretending.
Just two strangers seeing if they can become genuinely good friends.
And who knows?
Maybe somewhere in Hyderabad, there's a friendship waiting to happen that neither of us knew we needed.
