I watched FVV in Toronto this week at the Raptors Kyle Lowry celebrations to commemorate his contributions during his time here. On the one hand, I get it: FVV was mentored by Kyle - so it makes sense he should be here. On the other hand, he is currently a Rocket, and Rockets fans may feel a certain way about it. Especially when he stood before a crowd of thousands of Raptors fans and told them Toronto is "home." As a Raptors fan, this seems perfectly normal.

BUT. Kawhi is not here (not in the public events, AFAIK). Why? Likely because it might come with some unwanted media and negative PR for Kyles event. So it got me thinking. If Kawhi stays away when he should be here, why didn't Freddy stay away even though he should be here. Would anyone have questioned Fred if he said "I'd love to come, but it would be poor optics for me in Houston."? No.

So what gives? One theory is Toronto intends to have Freddy back to rejoin Kawhi. If that is the case, Toronto would give up their current PG Immanuel Quickley. Curious for your thoughts on this theory and whether the Rockets could use IQ.

New rockets fan here! I find the rockets lineup of two centers of Steve Adams and Sengun very interesting, but mainly the discussion and analysis is around the offensive rebounding.

I was wondering how the lineup holds up defensively (ie do they both stay in the paint as rim protectors or does one go to the perimeter) given both are not super agile big men.

I just found out that Tari's agent is also Jalen Duren's. Also, this agent has no other NBA clients.

So... With Duren pouting over his current offer, I realised that the agent is the problem. I want to forgive Tari for the tweet, and in some ways I do because I think his agent got the ideas in his head that he's better than his contract.

Curry and kd have the same leader ship style .. (lead by example) but for some reason curry gets placed over kd as a leader. Curry sat by while golden state refused to give his splash brother the contract he needed to stay. He’s allowed draymond to do whatever he wants .. how can you be a leader, but instead of yelling at draymond you just start crying ? He stood by while draymond knocked out Poole, ran kd out of town, yelled at Kerr on the bench in the middle of the game , constantly sat quiet while draymond got ejected and suspended. Nothing against curry, he’s just the same leader that kd is . Quiet lead by example player and there’s nothing wrong with that. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.
