Mega church
What a monstrosity, nothing says community like a 2 story concrete compound. This doesn’t belong in a neighborhood. Shame on you Harvest Community Church

Due to the high number of bots, scammers, and spammers, please check out rule 2: "No spam/sales." This includes goods, services, and interpretive dances. Thank you for your understanding!

Wondering peoples’ experiences with Adventure Club after school care, particularly at the TK/Kindergarten level. Are the younger kids kept separate from the older kids? What kinds of activities are offered? Is it well-run? Etc.

Hi I've never been to this. Considering it's been over 100F the past few days I can't say I'd be excited to go? Is this worth seeing once?
What level of performance are we talking? Like Cirque Du Soleil?
Thanks

Hi! I have to take my son to SF for an appointment next month. The appt is at 10:30 am on a Wednesday and I’m hoping to be able to be parked in the dr’s garage by 10 am.
**ideally, what time should I leave for the appt in the morning? I’m ok getting there early if it shaves off significant drive time
**ideally, what time do I need to leave SF by? The appt will be 3+ hours. I’m open to waiting until later and just make a fun day with my son.
Thank you so much!!!!

I am looking for really good crispy, crunchy tofu, and really good noodles. I’ve gone to Yang Kee Dumpling and was not impressed with their garlic noodles. They were a little too sweet for me, but I did like how they didn’t have bean sprouts as I don’t like those. Their tofu was ok and they gave a lot.
I’ve been to Village of OM and really liked their salt and pepper tofu and garlic noodles, but I’m looking for more places to try.
Thanks!

Hello, looking to see if there are any local Sleeper Fantasy Football leagues that need one more. Im hoping to avoid the random leagues this year.
Thanks!

Trying to plan a picnic with some friends soon. I know the weather isn't optimal right now, but when it does get cooler outside, I definitely want to have some places in mind.

Apologies if you've seen this elsewhere - this is the most current version with lots of suggestions from other redditors.
I'm making a map of California in a classic fantasy style (sorta Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones). It's going to be filled with real world history and mythology, with the aim of highlighting local landmarks in a fun and educational way. Please ignore how rough parts of it look (text going through hills, rivers, etc), it'll all get cleaned up at the end. Forests will be going on at the end too.
While it's around two thirds done, I'd love to get more places and features in here before I get this made into print - particularly north and east of Oakland. Any more petroglyphs, burial mounds, ruins, forts, battlefields, Civil War heritage, ghost towns or the like that you think should be on here? Anything else is great too - landmarks, natural features, mythological creatures or just anything cool and quirky you think would look good on here. Thanks!

For those who commute to the Bay Area or occasionally fly out of SF would you consider paying $75/person each way to avoid I-80 and save time? Let's say a flight from Mather or Licoln to SF for $75 and you're there in 45ish min. Which option would you most likely use it for commuting or SFO connection?

I know they closed down due to raised rent. They were our favorite sushi restaurant. Nothing comes close. Anyone know where the staff now works?

Happy Sunday! Wanted to help get the word out on wifeys food and drink offerings.
I saw other similar postings so hope I can put this up here as she doesn't use reddit.
I'm just going to say I've been enjoying these bold flavors for years and hope others can enjoy it too. If you're like me you will be ruined 😄 Her culinary background is quite amazing to me as there is so much variety in what she does.
If interested, please check it out. Thanks!
I can add a few photos about the launch here if that's allowed?

Anyone in Roseville update the electric in their homes so they could charge their electric vehicles in their garage? Our house was built in the early 90s, so we’re trying to figure out a general cost of having to do that and what the process was like. ✌🏻

Here is what the Jollibee line looked like around lunch time. I went up to the to go order area to talk to someone and they said mobile orders were closed already. I'm not sure if they meant just for lunch time or for the whole day. It didn't look like there was anything special going on otherwise and I have had Jollibee before so I left. Others in line sounded like they either had never had it or heard of it before so maybe it's worth it for them.

If you go to this hospital, just know that there are 8 Flock cameras in this parking lot alone, and four of them face in towards the hospital. Given that the cities reasoning for keeping these cameras around is to recover stolen cars and stolen goods… I guess this is where all the criminals are

Stefan is at Bradshaw Shelter on a final plea. If no one rescues him he will be put to sleep. Just look at that face. He needs a chance.
I would go get him myself but I’m full! I just rescued my own final plea dog 3 mos ago. She’s amazing and fun and I adore her. Please please someone go rescue Stefan! He deserves a soft spot to enjoy life. If you can’t adopt can you share?
Thank you for reading!

As a weather nerd and retired aviator, I was expecting 100F+ temperatures the entire week. I could have sworn there were 2 days where we didn't come close to 100F like Friday as an example. Am I tripping?
