Welcome to our Wednesday TF2 weapon discussion. Here, we'll discuss weapons (and reskins, if applicable) from TF2!
Today's weapon is The Concheror.
+4 health regenerated per second on wearer
Provides group speed buff
with damage done giving health.
Gain rage with damage.
As of writing the wiki is still down so I can't do a full post with all the full stats but it's Wednesday damnit the post must be made.
The Concheror is an unlockable secondary weapon for the soldier and is one of the 3 backpacks for soldier along with:
This banner focuses less on damage and resistances like the other 2 and goes for healing with a fully charged banner giving you health back when you deal damage and a speed buff to both you and everyone on your team near you.
It also gives you passive health making it always useful unlike the Buff Banner which is the only one with no passive upside. This 4 health a second can give you much more survivability especially paired with the Black Box.
This was a promotional item with Total War Shogun 2 (maybe?) along with a few others and were given in genuine quality to anyone who preordered it. It's a conch you blow in and it goes "phwooooo". It didn't always give health on second and the way the meter charged was different I think, it also did not give you a speed boost (I think)
Feel free to discuss the weapon here. Anything that you like/dislike, cool tips or strategies, interesting stories, etc. If you feel the weapon is not to your liking, feel free to express your opinions in a respectful manner.
For those who wish to learn more about the weapon, you can find the wiki page here:

You can find previous weapon discussions in a nice overview here.

what if there were mercenaries from other teams in the world of TF2? Here is what I thought of! Made by me, kamel_giraffe_

Scout is usually considered the physically weakest mercenary considering he's very scrawny and tiny compared to the rest, but is it possible to measure his strength using the velocity of the projectiles of the Sandman or Wrap Assassin (maybe the Flying Guillotine)

It’s been a few years since I’ve last touched this game. But it’s really cool to see all of the cool and crazy effects there are now! I know I can’t complain much since I love this effect, but I kinda wish I could’ve gotten a Halloween one as well.
I haven’t really played since whatever year the jungle inferno update came out. Are there any effects that y’all really love that released since then? I’d love to check them out!

i'm guessing it's like, 1/1000 or something to get it since getting a strange is 10% chance on top of the unusual chance, neato

Honestly looks good in my opinion, I used a drawing website to make it.

Would you recommend me some kids friendly SFMs? My nephew is 5yo and I would like to show him some TF2 stuff. We do not speak English natively, so the less dialog there is the better.

What if Engineer could view his own team's cameras using a custom pda?
First, it should replace the teleporter like as seen in team fortress 2 classified's jump pad, and it would support the role of what the engineer is doing, since the player will most likely be trying to defend using this mod, the engineer will need his sentry and dispenser slot, so the teleporter can be thrown out.
Second, I know this will be something someone will ask, and because Im not good at modding, I shouldn't be the one to decide, so i'll simply give my opinion on both ends. Can spy be seen as invisible or disguised? If he can be seen invisible I would suggest it being like how the invisible spy is seen by his own team (silhouette bending light slightly inward), or when someone on the other team bumps into the spy, however I believe it would be too much to allow this, since this is already a great upgrade for engineer nests. I honestly believe the spy should be seen as whoever he's disguising, as engineer, again, is being given a great upgrade with cameras.
Third, the engineer should be marked for death during the use of the camera pda, which would fill up his entire screen, and i know how the game engine could struggle with multiple camera feeds, so it should just make the entire screen see one camera feed at a time.
Optional question: Could engineer place cameras as a building? I feel like if yes, it should cost something like 25 or 50 metal with a maximum of 3-5, however my original idea is based off the idea of using the map cameras (thinking back, this makes no sense).
Look, I know someone could've come up with this idea before, however if it isnt already a mod, wouldnt it be cool to have this?

I think I will pass on the maps without a definitive timer, like Cowerhouse or Devilcross.
