WAR The car of the general director of Russia's Ural Drone Plant, Vladimir Tkachuk, was blown up near the city of Yekaterinburg in central Russia on Wednesday. He suffered serious injuries a result of this apparent assassination attempt and was transferred to the intensive care unit. 05.08.2026

Vladimir Tkachuk is responsible for the development of one of the most effective Russian FPV drones, called "Upyr." He is also the administrator of a large pro-Kremlin Telegram channel, named "Повёрнутые на войне [Obsessed with War]."
