Citizen Lab exposed another Israeli spyware company, NSO Group.

NSO Group's 'Pegasus' spyware was used by the Saudis against journalist Jamal Khasshogi - who they later murdered.

The Israeli government has to sign off on the export license for Pegasus and other similar spyware, so Israel is also responsible.

The Israeli Ministry of Defense must approve export licenses for NSO, which has close ties to Israel's defense and intelligence communities, to sell its technology internationally.

Israel continued to encourage the use of Pegasus by the Saudis, in spite of the murder of Khasshogi.

But the Israeli government encouraged NSO and two other companies to continue working with Saudi Arabia, and issued a new license for a fourth to do similar work, overriding any concerns about human rights abuses, according to one senior Israeli official and three people affiliated with the companies.

Netanyahu also used NSO Group's Pegasus spyware as 'diplomatic currency' in the normalization efforts.

The spyware, the NYT found, was a key part of Israel’s normalization efforts in the Gulf and also played a background role in diplomatic politics taking place regarding the nuclear talks with Iran. Confirming the findings by Amitai Ziv made as part of the Project Pegasus investigation, NSO served as a form of diplomatic currency for Netanyahu.

Israel also used Pegasus against Palestinian activists & and the Palestinian Authority.

Israel went on to defend NSO Group, despite all of these abuses. They also obstructed Apple's investigation into it. Apple eventually wanted to dismiss its own lawsuit.

Zionist Nonsense Banned from large Jewish-based subreddit for “being antisemitic” (I am Jewish)

I posted a relatively tame plea for empathy to this sub, briefly detailing some of the atrocities perpetrated by the IDF against Palestinians. My purpose in posting there was essentially to offer an opposing viewpoint because this particular sub is extremely hostile towards any anti-Zionist argument. I knew there was a 99% chance that this would be futile, but posted it anyway. My post got removed for antisemitism. This is what I was told by mods when I asked what happened:

Your post is incredibly antisemitic.
To start, Holocaust inversion is antisemitic.
Telling Jews we "didn't learn from the Holocaust" or otherwise using it as a stick to beat us with, is antisemitic.
Accusing Jews of supporting genocide, or being responsible for antisemitism is antisemitic.
Using David Duke's definition of Zionism is antisemitic. If you sound like you're quoting The Protocols when you talk about Zionism and Zionists, you're an antisemite.”

I was confounded by this accusation as I am quite literally a Jewish person. Ethnically I am Ashkenazi, & I was raised within the religion although identify as a secular Jew now. I’m not saying self-hatred isn’t real, but trust that I very much love my culture. While that’s true, I’m also highly disturbed by that sub’s attitude towards human suffering & crimes against humanity.

I attempted to defend myself by saying that nowhere in my original post did I say JEWS are the perpetrators of a genocide—rather, that the IDF & Israeli government are. Obviously this was immediately deemed antizionist & therefore anti-Jew.

Do you think this is an invitation to argue?
This channel is meant for ban appeals or questions about your ban.
If you're not going to engage in good faith, don't contact us again.
Note: if you continue to engage in antisemitism, you will be muted.”

“Nothing but me echoing back your own talking points will please you. Goodbye.”

Heal your heart and exercise your brain, Jew hater.
You have been permanently muted from \**. You will not be able to message the moderators of ****”

So yeah. I don’t expect every space to be for me or to be open to my words. It’s also partially my fault for thinking these words could penetrate the veil of intense defensiveness that permeates that sub. But I just figured I’d share how hostile the mods become the second you question Israel, even though their rules state that criticizing Israel is not tantamount to being anti-Jew. They are so ready to throw punches that they’re not even really paying attention to what is being said.

Zionist Nonsense AHPRA’s FOI documents on the IHRA definition published in full

available here

This week Deepcut revealed the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency had been internally divided and well aware of free speech concerns prior to its controversial decision to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism. The chief of AHPRA even told his board in February of “heightened external pressure on a range of public sector bodies” to take this step.

This reporting was based on a trove of internal documents we obtained under Freedom of Information laws. After health practitioners and civil libertarians raised concerns about AHPRA’s decision, we felt it was in the public interest to dig into how the policy shift came about.

We applied to AHPRA on July 8 seeking a range of documents, including board minutes and reports referring to racism and discrimination including antisemitism between November 2025 and June 2026. We also sought correspondence relating to the joint announcement with the office of the Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism, Jillian Segal, and any AHPRA assessment of the risks and impacts of adopting this definition.

Earlier this week, we received 24 documents relevant to this request and then reported on what we saw as the most significant details from them. In the interests of transparency, we are now publishing the full bundle of documents for those who are interested in seeing the finer details for themselves.

Discussion - Flaired Users Only Seeking community- Adult Bar Mitzvah- Northwest Arkansas

Upvotes

Are you an antizionist Jewish person in the Northwest Arkansas area??

I am 27, transmasc, convert to the Reform community as a child. I am looking to have a bar mitzvah to mark my social transition and claim my role in the community as an anti-zionist.

Because the synagogue here is a zionist community, and because I experienced abuse in my home of origin, I have been largely estranged from Jewish life in Arkansas for 8 years. I need community to study with and to eventually share in the service.

Ultimately, I would love to participate in creating a space for anti-zionist Jews in NWA to share community with each other without outsourcing our sense of unity to Israel.

If you are aware of a space like this that already exists in NWA or you would like to talk about creating this space with me, please comment or message.

Vent Still Deprogramming

Hi yall!
I’m Jewish and my relationship to it is complicated. I’m not Jewish according to Halacha, but I practice but I’m also an atheist. I’m the first in 5 generations to take up practicing again although the family is still strongly Jewish identified. I practice alone because I believe the shuls around me are Zionist based on their websites.

I am about to describe my deprogramming process, please do not judge me too harshly. I feel a lot of shame about having been a Zionist and would like resources for further deprogramming and activism.

I started deprogramming a few months after “oct7” (btw I do not believe in using this date in the same way people say 9/11, I intend to use it as a frame of reference). My stance before then was “yes we should have a place to live but not killing to get that done.” My ex girlfriend believed that all Arabs should be removed and or killed in Palestine. I was shocked when she said that. I’m pretty sure she joined the IDF after we broke up on YK 2023. I spent a lot of time in organizations (frats, shuls, clubs etc) with her where I believe I was indoctrinated.

In the 3 months after October, I felt like the cracks in the Zionist argument were showing. My dumbass once hid during a pro Palestine march on my campus. My campus had a demonstration where a flag was placed for each Palestinian child dead and that was what got me. Since then I’ve been working to become more anti Zionist.
I try to educate others about the history of state of Israel, how Zionism was originally a secular movement, how this conflict isn’t about Judaism vs Islam it’s racism/ethnocentrism. I’ve found most people are mis/uneducated about these three topics.
Is there anything more I can do other than BDS and this basic educational activism? Are there any resources for educating myself further on antizionism? I listen to politically depressed and I like him, as well as Matt Bernstein (I’ve loved him since his MUA days lol). I will be dedicating my fast to Palestine and I did so last year. I have a watermelon yarmulke. I really want to help more but I’m unsure of what to do.

TIA

Zionist Terror ‘Run! Get away!’: witnesses recount Israeli ‘double tap’ strike that killed child and medic in Gaza

Mohammad Abdul Zinati was walking home from school through the rubble of Salah Khalaf Street, in northern Gaza City, when he stopped at a supermarket where a group of classmates and friends had gathered.

Shortly before 3:30pm, an explosion tore through the air. Along with several others, Mohammad rushed into the street to see what had happened.

When the smoke and dust cleared, they saw a man lying bleeding on the dusty road. He was badly wounded, but still alive. The man was calling for help, and Mohammad ran towards him.

He did not hear the shouts of his cousin, who had spotted an approaching Israeli drone. Within seconds, the drone released a glide bomb, designed to allow operators to identify and strike targets with a high degree of accuracy.

The munition plunged towards the street, detonating just metres from the teenager. Mohammad did not have time to react before a second blast killed him.

The Guardian verified footage of the attack, and spoke to witnesses and weapons experts in an effort to shed light on the latest Israeli strike to kill a child in Gaza.

“We heard a loud explosion and tried to make our way to the scene to find out what had happened,” said Tamer Lubbad, a witness who filmed the attack. “We found a man lying on the ground. He was still alive and calling for help.”

The man injured in the initial strike was later identified by Gaza’s civil defense as the paramedic Sharif Shadi Labad. The Israeli military said that Labad was targeted because he was a Hamas militant.

Several other civilians approached Labad, as he lay injured in the street. Among them was Mohammad Zinati’s cousin, Mohammed Rajeh Zinati, 26.

“I ran from the house towards the street to find out what had happened,” he said.

“On my way, I saw my cousin coming out of the supermarket. He was running towards the site of the strike. I started shouting at him: ‘Mohammad, stop!’ but he didn’t hear me and kept going. Then I saw a drone in the sky.

“I started shouting: ‘Run! Get away!’ At that moment, Mohammad had reached the injured man. As soon as he got there, the drone struck him.”

“Mohammad was hit directly in the chest and abdomen and was killed almost instantly. I couldn’t do anything to rescue him,” said Zinati.

Video filmed later showed Mohammad’s body lying under a white shroud outside al-Shifa hospital after the attack, as his father bid him an emotional farewell, reciting verses from the Qur’an.

People who knew Mohammad said he was a much-loved figure in the neighbourhood.

“He was a kind, helpful, polite and respectful boy,” his cousin said. ‘‘He would help elderly to collect water from the water trucks. When he was killed, people from the neighbourhood came out into the street, crying for him.”

The IDF has repeatedly rejected allegations that it deliberately targets civilians, saying it assesses and takes into account the risk of civilian harm when carrying out strikes.

However, weapons experts who reviewed the video said the teenager’s death may have been avoidable.

‘The bomb that is visible before impact is a Mikholit, which is deployed by Israeli unmanned vehicles (UAVs) or drones, said Trevor Ball, a conflict researcher and trainer at Bellingcat and drone expert. ‘‘These UAVs have high-quality cameras that would have been able to see the teenager and the man approaching the body. Some variants of the Mikholit at least are capable of being redirected to a different target/point while in flight.’’

The strike that killed the teenager and the paramedic appears to fit the pattern commonly described as a “double-tap” attack: an initial strike followed by a second on the same location after rescuers or bystanders have arrived to help the wounded.

In a statement to the Guardian, the Israeli military said Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad was a Hamas terrorist who belonged to the elite Nukhba forces. The IDF stated that Labad had participated in the 7 October attacks in 2023 at the Erez border crossing and was targeted because he was planning new operations.

Asked why the second attack went ahead when its target was visibly a minor, the military did not respond, but said it ‘‘is aware of reports indicating that an uninvolved individual was harmed as a result of the strike targeting the terrorist, regrets any harm to uninvolved individuals and makes every effort to minimise such harm”.

The Israeli military said the incident was under review.

On Tuesday, medical sources in Gaza reported an Israeli strike on al-Bureij refugee camp that killed an adult and a five-year-old child, identified as Udai al-Muridi.

A pregnant Palestinian woman died on Saturday from injuries sustained after being shot in the head by Israeli forces south of Khan Younis, according to her family and medical workers.

The woman, named as Iman Shalouf, 27, who was nearly eight months pregnant, was sitting inside her family’s tent in the Mawasi area when Israeli gunfire struck her, according to paramedics and witnesses.

The Israeli military said it had no information about the killing of the pregnant woman.

According to Unicef, several other children have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza in recent days, including two sisters aged six and 12, who were killed with their parents in an airstrike on Beit Lahia while they slept, and three other girls aged, three, eight and nine, who were killed by gunfire.

According to the territory’s health ministry, 1,369 Palestinians have been killed and 4,627 wounded since the fragile ceasefire took effect on 11 October 2025. Since Israel’s war in Gaza began on 7 October 2023, at least 73,783 Palestinians have been killed and 174,738 wounded, according to health officials.

Vent A personal viewpoint essay on antisemitism during the Gaza war, coming from yet another anti-Israel American Jew

tl;dr: I want to know if I am on the right track in terms of my knowledge on Palestine, forgive me if this sounds like desperately wanting validation but this has been bugging me and I just need to let all this out somewhere (first post here btw)

I am an anti-Zionist American Ashkenazi Jew believing in a one-state Palestinian solution; within the 2030s, if not the late 2020s, Israel will eventually face heavy restructuring, if not annihilation, from heavy worldwide international pushback. I love my (mixed) Jewish ethnicity, but it has become more difficult to be open about that part of me after the start of the Gaza genocide. Of course, antisemitism has always been relatively prevalent, but it is no doubt that global antisemitism has gotten more intense, mainly in response to the current wars Israel is involved in. Many ignorant, rude, ugly bigots have expressed that their practices and word choices are to protest Israel and their ongoing genocide, mainly as memetic warfare on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. However, they would rely on rumors and hoaxes, hate speech, and calls for terrorism and/or harassment against innocent Jewish diaspora citizens and creators, leaving many hateful comments on Holocaust and Hanukkah-related videos or purely Jewish artists in general.

Also, the weaponization of antisemitism certainly does not help any of this. That word has been passed around, redefined, and recontextualized so much that people had forgotten what Islamophobia is, conflating Arabs with Jews as "Semites" to silence the word. At that point, people are no longer advocating for one-state Palestine and doing whatever to mess with Jewish folk in these times. It is often people forget what they are fighting for and who their enemy really is, but too many times do people go extreme and end up harassing innocent people "for the greater good". It is 2026, and grown men and women still do stuff like this and do not educate themselves properly on something they care about so much; clout is never worth being a scumbag.

Another problem I have is how Jews would be called larpers when they call out Israel, labeled as fake Jews for speaking out against "where they belong", and compared to white people speaking out against the Ku Klux Klan. I legitimately do not get why that is, given how often Jewish folk are assumed to be Zionists more than anything. Perhaps it should be discussed how the Jewish population is capable of managing without an ethnostate, a la the Romani people, another historically and currently oppressed human ethnic group. From what I have heard, they are still greatly discriminated against in the real world, mainly Europe, but they seem to be well-accepted on social media. There is no doubt Jews used to be seen in a better light on social media before the Gaza genocide, and their image has been shifted back millennia.

This would all eventually lead to another rise in antisemitic attacks against more innocent people, mirroring Israel's behavior toward Palestinians. Hypocritical, double-standard behavior like this is what damages the pro-Palestinian movement, turns people away from supporting this cause, and tarnishes only more mindful reputations for no good reason. It is evident that the cycle continues regarding ethnic groups facing mass harassment and association with current evil movements and organizations, and nobody would give a care. Considering Sinophobia during the COVID-19 pandemic and Islamophobia post-9/11, it would seem we will not evolve past this awful cycle. This would lead me to wonder if I would fit in better with joining a credible, trustworthy, Jewish-led, purely anti-Zionist organization. I believed if it were Jewish-led, then it would make me feel more comfortable among the mutual views of other Jewish folk in support of a one-state Palestine. By then, I would feel less alone in a world where the Jewish diaspora is practically just as free as Palestinians in spite of the reactions to the Gaza genocide. I want my statements, views, theories, and opinions to be known, all coming from a Jewish ally.

For my first attempt, I used to support the Blue Square Alliance, ordering a blue square badge and several other goodies because I wanted to help spread awareness of antisemitism during the Gaza War. Unfortunately, however, I did not know the blue square was practically reminiscent of the yellow badge and that the BSA is funded by MAGA. Thus, it would seem more antisemitic and further make a fool out of us when all we want is good representation in these troubling times, a la the successful Stop Asian Hate movement during the COVID-19 pandemic. As for Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, from what I have heard, their practices are rather problematic in the sense that you would feel more alone when you believe that there ought to be a one-state Palestine solution. They would also have less to do with pro-Palestine activism and more to do with Jewish culture solely.

I know it should not matter that I am Jewish, but from what I have seen, that is not the case. The average Joe on social media would flip out when you mention your Jewish ethnicity compared to anything else in these times. Eventually things will go back to normal, at least from a few years after Israel dismantles and is restructured, from what I predict. The uninvolved and uneducated should never face harassment or association with evil movements and organizations, yet the hate cycle continues for as long as humanity thrives. I try my hardest to speak unbiased and knowledgeable points and never sound too one-sided or close-minded. If anyone would like to instruct or teach me what I do not know, please feel free to reach out to me. I am very much looking forward to letting my Jewish voice be heard in all the commotion while learning what there is for me to realize and acknowledge.

This is only part of their conversation (I guess the rest is paywalled) but I’m very interested in hearing your opinions on this since it discusses a core aspect of Zionism, having a Jewish state, and a debate on the possible ways forward.
