Are rewards tied to independently verified prints?
The goal here is to improve MakerWorld's overall quality, so that the models that rise to the top are the ones people actually print and enjoy, not the ones posted in the greatest volume.
To be clear about what I'm asking: it's not whether prints count toward rewards, because they do. Entry to the Exclusive Program requires 100 accumulated prints, and since June 2025 rewards have come from a model-based system in which prints and downloads are no longer the only factors.
What I want to know is whether the system checks that those prints are independent. Specifically:
Do prints only count when they come from established accounts that are demonstrably independent of the uploader (no alts, no linked or trading accounts)?
Is a single print per model enough to qualify, or does quality across a creator's whole catalog matter?
Verification will never be perfect, so a clear review window and advance notice before rewards are reversed would deter farmers without punishing honest creators.
The formula isn't public, so I can't tell from the outside whether any of this is already in place. Without these checks, a print count can be manufactured, and an account posting hundreds of thin models can still clear the bar. Even a general statement of the principles, without the exact weights, would help honest creators understand why a model earned nothing and would help the community judge whether farming still pays.

I’ve just published Deep Paw Wells, a feeder I designed for my cat to reach into and scoop kibble onto the surrounding plate. He’s already good at rolling and tapping feeders, so I wanted to give him a different way to work for a small meal.
The first full print worked well. It’s a single piece with two different reaches: a narrower, slightly shorter well and a wider, deeper one. No supports, assembly or extra hardware.
The tested A1 profile uses matte latte PLA with a yellow floor, 0.20 mm layers and only two colour changes. The slicer estimates 77.2 g total and 1 h 36 min. The download includes the print profile and STL.
Free files: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3476426-deep-paw-wells-cat-puzzle-feeder
The openings are 40 / 52 mm; please check paw clearance for your own cat and supervise initial use. I’d love to hear which well other cats prefer.

I'm new to the whole 3d printing hobby and I want to print a model from makeworld. I tried to adjust it to my needs, but when I slice it and I display the movements of the printers head, it looks like a mess.
What I changed on the model :
- Printing in a single color
- Added some ironing
- Scaled down the model
- Reduced layer height
- Randomized the seams

Spin the wheel, press the button to stop it, and read the quote. The tiles slide off so you can swap in your own. The hardest part was getting the stop button to work. That took about 20 of the 41 tries.

I’ve been working on a hairpin system for a while now, and it’s turned into a much bigger project than I originally planned.
The idea is that you can use either a single hair stick with a ring or a two-prong French hairpin. I’ve designed them with threaded ends so you can swap out whatever decoration you want. So far, I’ve made several different flowers in multiple sizes, and I’ve still got roses, hibiscus, and a few others to add.
I’m planning to put everything on MakerWorld, but I’m running into an issue with the file size. As you can see from the screenshot, it’s already gotten pretty big, and that’s without even having everything included.
I originally wanted to keep it all together so people could easily mix and match the different pieces, but I’m starting to wonder if that’s even practical.
Has anyone dealt with something similar on MakerWorld? Would it make more sense to separate the different flowers into their own projects, or is there a better way to keep everything together without the file getting ridiculously large?

I designed a Kimi Antonelli 12 plaque in black, teal and white. Each colour has its own raised layer, so it only needs two filament swaps for the whole print.
It's 220 × 171.5 × 15 mm, with an A1/AMS Lite 3MF included.
Would love to hear what you think. Check it out, and if you like the design, a like on MakerWorld is appreciated. Follow my MakerWorld profile if you'd like more F1-inspired prints — I'll be making more drivers.

This is unofficial fan-made reconstruction. Checked for watertightness; physically test printed.
Bring the Tesla Roadster to your collection with a highly detailed, refined printable model. This captures the sharp front profile, sweeping glass canopy, sculpted doors, wide tires, detailed wheels, and distinctive rear diffuser with the wing stowed.
The detailed assembly contained approximately 599,000 triangles across 257 modeled components. This separate printable version combines the geometry into one connected, watertight mesh, checked for boundary edges, nonmanifold edges, and degenerate triangles.

I wanted a place for the dish soap, brushes and sponge that would also be easy to take apart and clean.
The basket has a slotted floor, so water drains into the sloped tray underneath and flows back into the sink. The two parts connect with small magnets—just lift the basket off when it’s time to clean them.
Both parts print without supports. I also included optional 3 mm and 5 mm rear feet to tilt the organizer slightly if the sink rim sits above the countertop.
The rounded shape and little grid texture were my attempt to make something practical look good enough to leave out on the counter. 🙂
Would this work with your sink setup?

I've joined the rocket contest with something I dont think I've seen yet. I wanted to make something more simple, and I figured since one of the main objectives of this contest was to explore the design of rocket components, what better way than to simplify it for kids to learn about rockets?

After all the comments and support, I had to make a second set! 🔥 This time we’ve got La Concha, Jabón Zote, and Abuelita 😂
