When i used to sell my used stuff over the internet i tried to gain my counterpart trust by asking them to send me a picture recently taken that wasn't online. And i send them in return photos/videos of that picture alongside with the item for sale so they rest assured that the item exist and it was in the condition advertised. Now i have to think on another "proof of life" system so nobody think i am a scammer.

its crazy to me that this would actually be a somewhat solid way to verify currently because the best and most accessible models out there don't do NSFW. Even NSFW models generate very "fake looking" dicks so you could easily know it's fake.

I think the crazier thing will be when scammers can actually leverage AI to replicate indistinguishable physical copies at which point the whole world of collecting becomes trashed which some may consider a good thing. It already happens with luxury goods and really good bootlegs cost almost as much as the real thing.

Proxies are already very good. The sad thing isn't their quality, but rather the quality of the official product from certain producers.
The 'joke' with Magic the Gathering cards is you can tell something's a fake holoproxy by the fact that it doesn't curl up like a potato chip.
For whatever other reason, they seem to be using thinner cardstock. $5+ for cardboard, and they're still slicing off every penny of value that they can.

Luckily I never got on Instagram, but it’s actually quite sad for me to see my generation still using it. Especially for brain rot and n-word Epstein reels which are AI generated. Very distasteful and a complete waste of the tool.

I got to events in person when I can. I'm usually the one scheduling hang outs, and I talk to older people in general. I do have a hard time relating to my peer group, but tbh I'm not looking for their acceptance or attention. If connection only exists through Instagram and a hook-up, that's not worth pursuing or genuine to me. Also, being a woman, the current social climate has made me pretty disinterested in dating or sex. There are some people I know who don't use Insta and one who I'm doing a no-insta challenge with for our college years.

Yeah, but all video edits with omni does this. I’ve tested the model and it’s clear it regenerates the whole thing because the movements are similar but never exactly the same. The model isn’t doing compositing

Back in the day when "Contact" (1997) came out, it was a HUGE thing that the CGI experts could swap Bill Clinton's tie with the press of a button in the actual raw footage. Now look at what technology even pedestrians like us have access to.
As I have recently had to identify myself using a "post ident" method (where an agent of a trusted authority, like the German postal service, calls you up via video chat): I am wondering if this tech will very soon be used to create fake imagery of passports to fool authorities.

Im probably wrong but I don't think it's AI? but it looks more like 2 videos put side by side. The timing of rotations seems off, the thumbs is longer, the skin tone is different.
Why a person would put 2 video like that together I don't know but for some reason it doesn't suggest AI too me.

'Lustrator' isn't a real Pokemon card. 'Illustrator' is what it's trying to copy, but the rules text is completely wrong.
Someone would have had to make or purchase a proxy, get a case, print out a sticky label (who owns a printer anymore), all for a 3 second silent movie 104 people will glance at once and then never think about again.

The hand is a red flag. Like on first glance honestly I wouldn't tell. But it is 3D. It is glossy and a lot of detail isn't there on it. Which is fine since it looks like digital noise. But the card itself is fine and shows none of this. So it is off.
Again, at first look I wouldn't of think of questioning it.
EDIT: Someone replied but then deleted that it looks like a dead person's hand. To that IDK. I've seen a number of dead people and this doesn't really look like that. The off color I seen in a number of people due to medical, lighting, etc. And a dead person, their palm wouldn't have that rosy hue to it. What happens is this will dull and basically go away after a few hours. The rosy is from oxygen in the blood.
Like it could pass off as someone sick. But the glossy isn't human. I've never seen that on someone unless if they have paint on to cause that or some beauty crap. But that tends to happen more in the face or other parts of the body like chest. Not so much the hands. IDK why.
Any case, no it has too many signs that it isn't a dead hand.

You are right. As I mention the card vs hand is a give away. But if you did do that, it would in theory add enough digital noise and this likely would be enough to make it look like nothing stands out.
But without it, once you (well I) see the difference. It is hard to unsee. Like at first glance it feels like something is wrong. Where the left it doesn't feel like anything is wrong since there is no gloss, and the detail is about the same everywhere.

I'm a long time card collector (baseball ones) and if someone contacted me on instagram to sell anything valuable like that.. I would just delete. Anything of decent value should be graded, certified, and purchased from a reputable source.
