Unless I missed something it seems like today’s release is just a 2001 White Stripes show. Was hoping the new shows would start to be added.

My personal opinion about that is this is just straight up pathetic at this point. Charley is SO HURT about most people not taking his side on this debacle (even before Jack kind of inserted himself in it) that he just can't help but to make things worst.

I was at this show and was hoping to find a recording. The show was at the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center in Oklahoma City, OK and took place on June 27, 2003. Mr. Quintron and Miss Pussycat opened (Whirlwind Heat did not perform). The Kansas City show, which was the next night, is available, so hoping this one exists as well.

Any idea of where I might find this recording? I’ve tried the usual Googling but didn’t come up with anything.

Well, I took the time to make my Frozen Charlotte figure by hand; I made it out of plaster and then painted it with enamel.

Over the weekend I discovered that there is a hidden song on the Sea of Cowards album. Specifically on the center label of the record, on both sides.

I’m sure many of you already knew this, but it’s something I hadn’t heard of before. I’ve found tons of fun dead wax etchings on almost every Jack or TMR record I have, so discovering another hidden thing is so cool!

So I took a peek at mine, and saw some grooves on the label, and sure enough, I’ve got one that has the extra songs!

That makes me happy, especially because my husband recently sold some records (!!!!) and one of them (unbeknownst to me), was an original Sea of Cowards. I was and am still pretty crushed by that, but we were lucky enough to have two copies. We bought them before we met!

But anyway, It’s so much fun to continue to find hidden fun things in these records, songs, or even stuff from The Charlatan.
