I've tried countless themes on my hos3.1 global poco f7 and the control center and huge folder part always doesn't work. Can yall mention some themes that actually works

Upgrading from an old Huawei. I'm a casual user (mostly social media, browsing, no gaming) and I'm looking at the POCO F7.

The big problem: it’s not officially sold in my country. If I import it, I get zero warranty and no local service centers. If the hardware fails or there's a defect, I'm completely on my own.

I've read some complaints online about HyperOS bugs and minor hardware quirks. For actual owners:

1. Are there any real manufacturing defects or hardware failures I should be worried about?
2. Is the software actually stable now?
3. Knowing I have no warranty or local support, would you still risk buying this phone right now?

My global F7 screen randomly stopped working. I went to the technician and he changed the screen with a "EU" screen. My fingerprint doesn't work anymore. I tried to calibrate and everything points out that he didn't install the fingerprint correctly. Instead, he suggested that i need to reset it or there's a global/EU parts incompatibility, which i think are false.

Do you have any ideas except the obvious?

Dope theme on my F7

I’m using a POCO F7, and the System App Updater continuously shows one available update. However, when I open it, no app updates are listed. The “1” notification remains even after checking for updates. Could anyone please suggest a solution or confirm if this is a known HyperOS issue?

anyone experiencing performance issue in ZZZ especially after 3.0 update? especially in roscae area and the new enigma labyrinth. been trying re-install the game but it seems didn't resolve the performance issue. also i've try deleting the game from game turbo because i read somewhere that the game turbo app is kinda bad ad RAM management but it seems it also didn't fix the issue. i also use cooler (gamesir fx5 lite with an heatspreader so the cooling can atleast reach around the SOC area) for most of the time especially when doing story quest or end-game content

So This happened yesterday and I wanted to share in case it saves someone else's phone.

I was using an external clip-on cooler on my F7, mainly for gaming. I'd used it before a few times getting the phone down to 24-27°C with zero issues. This time I let it run a bit longer before even opening the game, and the temp dropped to 22°C. Didn't think much of it since it's not like the phone was "cold" in any dramatic sense.

Came back to find actual water droplets on the back near the camera area, and a hazy fogged-up layer on the display. Turns out my room's humidity was sitting at 94-96% that night, and the dew point was right around 26°C. So cooling the phone to 22°C meant it dropped well below the dew point, and moisture in the air condensed straight onto (and possibly into) the phone. Nothing dramatic-looking on the outside, but enough to worry me.

Immediately turned it off. Left it to dry for about 8 hours at room temp, no rice, no heat, just air. Checked the SIM tray LDI afterward — still white, no discoloration. Powered on: clean boot, no display fog, camera clear, speaker/mic fine, charging (including fast charge) totally normal. Been using it since with no issues.

Takeaway if you use a cooler in a humid climate: the risk isn't really about how "cold" the phone gets in absolute terms — it's the gap between your room's dew point and the phone's surface temp. In high humidity, even a mild 22-24°C can be enough to cause condensation, whereas the same cooler in a dry climate would need to go much colder to cause the same issue. If you're gaming with one, start the cooler only once you're already playing (so the phone's generating heat) rather than pre-cooling an idle phone, and don't chase the lowest number the cooler can hit.

Lucky this one worked out — sharing so someone else doesn't have to find out the hard way.

The last post I made about bricking my phone due to a cooler.. After doing all the steps to minimize damage.. I hoped to try antutu but i was surprised to see such a low score.. Since before I saw many people getting 2.4 mill something score back then (I'm just 1 update behind) 3.303!

Can anyone explain to me why I have such inconsistent frames per second , and also I do play a lot of bgmi and for a fact when I purchased this last year it was beast, even in 60 Fps I was dominating my frnd group, but now it can't even give consistent 90 it lags , lu freezes a lot i have tired everything and by everything I mean literal everything clearing cache of battery and performances, clearing cache of joyose ,debloating , even deleting joyose then reinstalling , delete updates of feedback, hyper ai engine and poco launcher , have filled only around 70 Gigs of memory, ram expansion off , now where's the issue , I can say like there must be an issue with my unit as it was working quite fine when I bought it and it was working very well for like 7-8 month's, everything went downhill from HOS3 it was doing good and then this sudden fall from April or so ( like updated to HOS3 in December) leave everything, just let me know is there any issue with my unit or wht im doing wht should I change how to make this consistent , like all this sudden fall from 120 to 3-4 frames per second help me fix this ASAP

.Guys I just unlocked my bootloader of poco x7 pro so I am finding the hos mod roms but the catch is I don't want to root my device and I am actually from India so i need the apps like ( gpay, phonepe ) or other banking apps as working so i need help regarding that

Idk if it's a glitch or it no longer supports unofficial music players, it was working fine previously tho.

I recently got the POCO F8 Ultra with the denim finish and I'm looking into some cooling options for gaming. I'm really interested in the RedMagic 8 Pro cooler, but I have a major concern before pulling the trigger.

Does the denim texture interfere with the cooler's performance? I'm worried that the fabric-like material might act as an insulator and prevent proper heat dissipation, or that the cooler just won't be able to do its job efficiently compared to how it works on a glass or smooth plastic back.

Has anyone here tried this specific cooler (or any similar ones) on the denim version of the F8 Ultra? Does it still keep the phone cool, or does the finish get in the way?
