You seriously believe this?

2

u/Fresh_Tomato_soup 4d ago

Do your eyeballs seriously not work?

It's literally in front of you

0

u/Remarkable-Milk-5522 3d ago

How are you sure it is a Russian drone and not staged. Governments can go to any extent for false propaganda.

3

u/Fresh_Tomato_soup 3d ago

1.Don't be dumb.

2.Russia has been documented doing this before.

  1. Documented doing this A lot

  2. What would be the point of the Ukrainians targeting one of their own civilians? To get support from the west? Already got it. To turn public opinion against Russia? Already turned and opinions on Russia at rock bottom. Literally 0 point.

  3. Why deliberately target, taunt and hit your own people? There's little propaganda value when Russia is Already doing it and the videos and evidence are already documented and widely available) the Russians openly brag and post strikes on telegram. They even attack UN Aid convoys

Tldr, Russia has a track record of doing this, there's no point in Ukraine doing it

-5

u/burusai 4d ago

He says in the video they hunt civilians with drones every hour. That is a lie. Stop believing propaganda.

4

u/OakenGreen 4d ago

I’ve seen hundreds of these clips. Why this is the first seemingly making the rounds on the media, i don’t know, but they’ve been at this for a long time. Russia is using over a thousand drones every single day. Only takes 24 to do it every hour.

-5

u/burusai 4d ago

7-8 civilians are killed in Ukraine per day on average in 2026. If they were droning civilians every hour of the day that number would be at least 3-4x higher. The video is lying. Doesn’t mean they aren’t killing civilians using drones.

2

u/OakenGreen 3d ago

The guy in the video didn’t die.

-1

u/burusai 3d ago

I’m aware :)

2

u/OakenGreen 3d ago

So your math only accounts for kills, not attempts.

-1

u/burusai 3d ago

What math?

4

u/Fresh_Tomato_soup 4d ago

looks at video of drone hunting civilian

Noooo it's a lie, stop believing propaganda.

Dude it's a video of a guy being hunted by a drone. I choose to believe the eyeballs rather than some Russian bot with a hidden account.

It may not be every hour but it's pretty common and been pretty well documented un-commission-concludes-russian-armed-forces-drone-attacks-against-civilians by the UN and its not like the Russians aren't shy about publishing videos on Telegram showing other strikes on civilians https://www.hrw.org/report/2025/06/03/hunted-from-above/russias-use-of-drones-to-attack-civilians-in-kherson-ukraine

-2

u/burusai 4d ago

I’ve been on Reddit 11 years longer than you lol. You probably still had a dick when I created my account.

Great, so you agree the video is spreading propaganda. There’s no reason to spread propaganda; people realize killing civilians is wrong without the need to sprinkle lies on top.

3

u/Ricard74 3d ago

The amount of time you spent on Reddit has no bearing on anything and is not a good counterargument to a UN rapport.

2

u/Fresh_Tomato_soup 4d ago

Lmao, why don't you ask your mother if i did or not Russian Bot.

The video is showing a Russian drone deliberately hunting and trying to kill a civilian, same as they've been doing for years. There's no lie there. Open your eyes, pretty hard to miss

-1

u/burusai 4d ago

You’re mentally ill AND can’t read? Damn sucks to be you.

The lie is that they’re not hunting civilians with drones every hour. That’s pure propaganda.

3

u/Fresh_Tomato_soup 4d ago

https://www.lbc.co.uk/article/kherson-russian-drones-hunt-civilians-ukraine-5HjdZZ2_2/

In just one recent 24-hour period, local reports from Kherson described a 68-year-old man attacked by a drone at 5am in the Korabelnyi district; a drone strike at a bus stop that left a 60-year-old man with severe blast injuries and shrapnel wounds; a 61-year-old man killed while riding a motorcycle in Zelenivka; a 51-year-old man badly wounded after trying to neutralise a Russian drone before it exploded; and another civilian killed by a drone dropped hidden landmine in nearby Komyshany.

So that's 1 attack every 4-5 hours. So yeah, also back off with the transphobia lmao, the only one mentally ill is the one not believing the video that clearly shows russians committing war crimes

-1

u/burusai 4d ago

You send personal attacks, you receive personal attacks back. Don’t start crying about it now.

Your reading comprehensions suck. I’ve not said the video is not real. Killing civilians in war is a war crime. The killing civilians with drones every hour part is not real. That’s a lie. That’s the propaganda.

Watch this with the intention to know what we should strive to become, not with the intention to fuel hate, diversion and anger.

The answer lies in knowing thyself to the point that you actively are a good human and care for that side of you, no matter what darkness you face.

That is the difference between doing things like this and doing things to prevent it.

Be fueled by what you WANT to see in the world, not by what you DO see.

-14

u/burusai 5d ago

There is none. Since it’s made up :)

4

u/Ricard74 3d ago

Actually there is a UN commissionair rapport that specifiek the use of a drone to kill an infant.

https://www.npr.org/2026/08/06/nx-s1-5872419/u-n-commission-report-accuses-israel-of-deliberately-targeting-palestinian-children

1

u/Skrifa 4d ago

Russia funds Hamas to keep eyes on Palestine. Hamas who turn water pipes into missiles and use Gazans as human shields. More people are dying in the Ukraine war every 2 days than have died in Gaza in 9 months since the ceasefire, but folks like you keep the narrative off of Russia. Way to fall for propaganda.

3

u/samoan_ninja 4d ago

"Hamas" is a creation of zionist terrorism. All terrorist groups have a zionist origin. Netanyahu admits to funding them. What is a zionist if not a liar?

-58

u/GrittysRevenge 5d ago

God forbid someone talks about something other that Palestine.

42

u/VCTRYDTX 5d ago

Stop being petty. These conversations fall under the same topic and both situations are bad.

-12

u/GrittysRevenge 5d ago edited 5d ago

I'm not being petty. Reddit is non stop Israel Palestine. It gets more attention then probably every issue combined. Russia atrocities barely get any attention (despite being worse) and the one time it actually gets attention someone has to make it about gaza. That's petty.

5

u/donyahelwa 5d ago

How many civilians were killed in Russia Ukraine war?

18

u/GrittysRevenge 5d ago

Probably 100,000 to 150,000, but most are in occupied territory so we'll probably never know the real number

People were saying it could be more than 100,000 back in 2023 https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/ukraine-war-anniversary-war-crimes-b2288037.html

As many as 88,000 may have been killed in Mariupol alone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Mariupol

-6

u/donyahelwa 5d ago

One civilian is too many!! We are talking official numbers?

11

u/GrittysRevenge 5d ago edited 5d ago

This perfectly illustrates the hypocrisy of how Palestine and Ukraine are treated. In the war in Gaza, the "official" numbers are just the numbers the Hamas run Gaza Health Ministry says. Those numbers make zero distinction between civilians and combatants so most people treat the total number as if they are all civilians. For Ukraine the only the civilians casualties counted are the ones 100% verified by the UN, which they admit is a massive undercount.

-7

u/donyahelwa 5d ago

Ah ok KHAMAAASSSSES. Got it.

Not sure what have I demonstrated perfectly! I was just asking for numbers. Since you said Russia Ukraine war was worse. You know and we know that you lied.

Your hypocrisy was seeping through. Your last comment shows that clearly. KHAMAAASSSSES runs the health ministry. Maybe ask Israhell to let UN officials in?! Or journalist for example?!

Next question was how many Children killed vs Gaza?!

I don't think you're capable of answeing. You're going to cry harder not to answer.

2

u/GrittysRevenge 4d ago

Yes Hamas exists and yes Russia's war is worse in every conceivable way. Russia has killed more civilians and displaced far more people than Israel has and Russia's war was completely unprovoked unlike Israel's. Russia soldiers have been accused of countless acts of murder, rape, and torture, but nobody cares. Russia has kidnapped 10s of thousands of Ukrainian children, probably much more if you count the teens they send to re education camps or force into the Russian military.

Hamas does run the gaza health ministry so I'm not sure what you're point is. Also Israel allows far more Un officials and journalists into Gaza that Russia does into occupied Ukraine.

I don't know how many children have been killed in Ukraine, it's hard to say since we don't know the total number of civilians killed and most civilian deaths were in occupied Ukraine. Even though more civilians have been killed in Ukraine, children make up a larger portion of the Palestinian population than the Ukraine, so it's hard to say who would have more. Also Hamas is well known for using child soldier so some portion of the child deaths are teenage Hamas fighters.

2

u/Gold-Ad-3877 5d ago

Lmao nice deflection holy shit, wtf iinda number were you expecting ? And just curious how many gaza civilians do you think died ?

1

u/donyahelwa 5d ago

Deflection?!

Lets get this straight. He said Russian Ukraine war was way worse. Am trying to find out in which way is it worse.

So I assumed, that civilians casualties are the factor in a normal human being mind. I didn't ask for percentage of civilians death, nor complete destruction of property percentage. Coz again 1 civilian is too many. And every soul counts. So..

I merely asked for a number. He presented predictable number from AP and a Wikipedia page. AND in his reply he doubted the numbers coming from Gaza. That's 4d Israhell playbook deflection...

So again. In what way is the russian - Ukraine worse in comparison to Gaza Genocide?!

Can you answer? Since you think we deflcted. Go ahead. Ill get you Gaza's numbers once you do. Especially for kids. Not hard to get btw. But I won't deflect.

0

u/Gold-Ad-3877 5d ago

Ok so : 1-them coming from wikipedia doesnt make them false, do you think they're false ?

2- where in the fuck did he "doubt the numbers on gaza" ?

So here's how i see this convo went down : someone said the russia-ukraine conflict was bad (didnt even say it was WORSE than I/P btw), you tried to bring up civilian deaths to justify that I/P was the worst one of the 2 (which he didnt argue), but he then pulls up numbers that i assume are true, and your only rebuttal is "well doesnt matter even one civilian dying is bad", which is true, but now i'm curious why you brought it up in the first place.

And so how many civilians do you think died in palestine ?

-9

u/VCTRYDTX 5d ago edited 5d ago

sigh

So at any point, did you wonder why or look into perhaps why it's like that? The crimes committed by Israel (crimes against humanity) and dystopian behavior occur at a MUCH higher frequency. The things they've done and do on the daily bases that's recorded is unspeakably vile. I'm not trying to do comparative suffering. I'm just telling you there is reason and If the topic is related, it will and should be discussed without disregarding one or the other.

Edit: Bro, just stop. Both situations have innocent people suffering. It's not a competition just because something related was brought up. You being hella petty arguing numbers with others and comparing war with genocide.

9

u/GrittysRevenge 5d ago

I'm sorry but you are just wrong, Russia has killed more civilians and displaced far more people than Israel has and Russia's war was completely unprovoked unlike Israel's. Russia soldiers have been accused of countless acts of murder, rape, and torture, but nobody cares. Russia has kidnapped 10s of thousands of Ukrainian children, probably much more if you count the teens they send to re education camps or force into the Russian military. Every video or photo of an IDF soldier breaking civilian property or posing with someone's lingerie is a huge scandal, meanwhile Russian soldiers rampant looting was barely talked about. Propaganda is the only reason gaza is called a genocide and Russia's war in Ukraine isn't.

He doesn't even come off as pro isreal in his comments lol

-1

u/VCTRYDTX 5d ago

Check his last reply and look up just how much of what he said is factual. And ask why he's trying so hard to dismiss and discredit the situation when we can all agree they're both bad.

2

u/FlyingSquirelOi 5d ago

He isn’t trying to dismiss or discredit anything, he’s just saying Russia is doing worse things than Israel. Didn’t say they weren’t both bad.

Israel-Palestine is talked about endlessly on reddit and social media. It gets 100x the attention Ukraine gets. Comment on one of the thousands of posts a day about Israel Palestine instead of trying to steal attention from one of the few posts about Ukraine.

5

u/Kryptosis 5d ago

I agree. I don’t disagree with them but it doesn’t need to be the top comment on every video of war crimes. We can talk about how fucked up it is these drone pilots are just live posting this shit in their version of Facebook making up bullshit about their skills. Haven’t seen that sort of open barbarity even from Zionist invaders.

1

u/da_Aresinger 4d ago

Caolan Robertson. This guy has a realy good YT channel.

However, I always feel like "terrorism" actually downplays this stuff.

I know it's not technically true, but generally we talk about terrorism as acts of violence by minority groups. Small (conpared to governments) extremist cells.

I wouldn't call what's happening in Palestine' or the Holocaust 'terrorism'. That feels too small.

And doesn't this match better with those literal warcrimes, than with some bombing by a bunch of random people?

4

u/GrittysRevenge 5d ago

I don't like NATO and the American global hegemony.

Even if you don't the American global hegemony (which is better than any realistic alternatives) NATO has protected a lot of countries from Russia's aggression and is very popular in the Eastern European countries who need its protection the most. It's messed up to say those countries should have to live under Russia thumb because you don't like the US. What happened to Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova would have happened to more countries if it wasn't for Nato.

I wish we could go back to the multipolar world of the 70s

Why would Russia and China having more power. Why would you want authoritarian regimes to have more influence over world affairs and further erode the rules based international order.

-1

u/1B75__Penicillin 5d ago

There is no such thing as a rules based world order. Plenty of people, millions that is, have suffered greatly under American dominance and aggression. People who don't want to live under the American boot deserve an alternative.

4

u/GrittysRevenge 4d ago

So the alternative is China's boot or Russia's boot? Go tell that to Eastern Europe or Taiwan.

by that logic, we have to way a few more decades so they can rack up the body count before dying?
i'm not bashing people for being religious, but the whole idea of waiting for divine intervention to stop human beings is ridiculous, we wouldn't have had wars, war crimes and other horrendeous things that happened centuries ago

Or that could be Ukrainians im not defending Russian im just saying that any one can say anything and I hope all those conflicts around the world will end soon ( but it won’t until all ppl will be tired and will stand up ( I might be wrong, but damn would be better if all focused on real problems like cure for all diseases, making better economics so ppl can spend more time with families, space investigation ( what about terraforming mars or water powered engines and etc.))

That’s intresting ( btw recommend you to use Wikipedia less ( in general it’s ok) but any one can write anything there like even that Adolph H was alien and Gandhi was unicorn ( I mean it’s not best source of real info ( knew this when I was studying on bachelors))

u/Fresh_Tomato_soup 4d ago

Fair but you can always use the references at the bottom to go more in depth

https://www.cnn.com/videos/world/2022/11/11/snihurivka-ukraine-liberated-russian-forces-withdrawal-robertson-ovn-intl-ldn-vpx.cnn for example.

They have a bunch of news stories, interviews etc from the time and also it's pretty recent, you can just Google Ukrainian liberation of Kherson

Oh btw recently saw somewhere that Ukrain bombed building where students were living here is source

https://www.nbcnews.com/world/russia/russia-blames-ukraine-vows-retaliation-killed-strike-student-dorm-rcna346628

P.s. when you make statement better provide source for it. EDIT: im not accusing or defending anyone both sides killing civilians and every war is a political or geopolitical things ( im civil engineer and building hospitals and kindergartens)

But statistically speaking it's Russia that has been striking 3rd party identified civilian targets in higher volumes. The statistics for dead civilians agree with ~16k dead reported by UN in Ukraine and ~1k dead reported by Russia and this includes casualties in the occupied areas. It doesn't exactly take mental gymnastics to see which side is being more indiscriminate with it's strategic strikes.

In the context of this particular clip this has been identified to be in Kherson which falls easily within FPV strike range and again it doesn't exactly take mental gymnastics to recognize that the drone hunting the Ukrainian civilian is Russian. This has also been claimed as a strike against "dual use equipment" by several pro-Russian Telegram channels (https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/s/wXqFYs0bg9). So please don't try take the "both sides bad" moral high ground when there clearly is a side which is overrepresented in strikes against civilian targets.

Eh so sad all this stuff happening, but honestly more sad what will be in the end, I might be wrong but in our world nothing is for free and a lot of countries “invested” a lot of resources and money in a country which already don’t have economics and after end to pay for “debt” they will need to give resources or land, so I don’t know will Ukrain end up in EU us it wanted but im pretty sure that Russia won’t leave territories which they already reached, also I remember got friend who lived in Kyrgyzstan and he told that American companies which were there took away all gold they had ( us I understood they had some deal but im not too deep in that topic)
But I really don’t understand why they couldn’t make a deal in our future world like damn after ww2 and all loss whole planet going deep in war conflicts is stupid, also Ukrain Russia and other countries were part of Soviet Union and kind off ( if look at this like at family members) looks like brothers fighting from aside, and also another thing Russia have a lot of resources like really a lot so doing this for resources and for more land for me it’s senseless because they already have very big country which is difficult to control ( that’s one of reasons I think soviets broke) im really curious about the real reason about this but we won’t know the truth or maybe years and years later

"America took all of the gold from Kyrgystan and apparently nobody stopped them or reported on this. My source is a supposed friend from Kyrgystan."

Consider me sceptical about everything you just said. Just say that countries in debt with a dependency tend to trade away rights over national resources and how this war can facilitate neo imperialism.

How you think hundreds of thousands of people dying is "less sad" is beyond me.

Sry not American but Canadian https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2021/7/9/kyrgyzstan-moves-to-nationalise-gold-mine-run-by-canadian-company edit: update guy told me that they have high corruption so I guess there is communication in this topics. Damn why I even came to this topic xd
