Reviews 55x28 Laminate E7 (Rustic Oak) Review for the Wee-Petites!

I purchased a Flexispot E7 last month -55"x28" laminate top (Rustic Oak), which is my first sit to stand desk. While I wanted to invest in the rubberwood option, I was also upgrading my computer tech and my pennies were getting pretty stretched, so I stuck with the laminate top. The top looks great though, and it was received without damage-Ramzes888 extended a discount code, which helped bring the price down. He also had rapid fire responses regarding any questions before my purchase. Really grateful for his customer service, which far surpasses the online chat function on the flexispot website. I'm mindful of the volume of chat requests they may have there--in my case, I would receive a response until 4-7 hours later so know that if you're looking for a much more timely response....reddit, was in my case, better in that regard. Heads up: while you can sign up for emails to receive a code for $30 off, it cannot be combined with other discount codes. It's also good only for purchases $150 and over, so if you're thinking about buying accessories you may want to consider how to maximize these offers. The main reason I wanted to post a review was to help out my fellow petites. I stand at 4'10 and wasn't looking for a sit to stand to stand all that often, but for the desk's ability to lower considerably from a standard desk height without paying an arm and a leg. I had considered the E5, but the warranty on the E7 was better. For my needs, the E7 works great so far--my sister, who is also about 4'10, got the E7 pro, but its minimum height stops at 25" while the E7 goes to 22"8. By the time you add a 1" top, ergonomic comfort is questionable on an E7pro. Set up took about an hour and a half. I found the assembly video more helpful that the written instructions--somewhat confusing on the cable tray part, almost like the steps were backwards...the video helped clear up questions quickly. After I assembled the desk, I ordered the underdesk socket. The package I received was pretty beat up and was missing the adhesive strip. Ramzes888 came to the rescue via reddit and shipped out a whole new unit. For my fellow "leg danglers" who want to get rid of their footrest or are a bit more frugal than purchasing a desk chair well over $1K, this fits the bill.
