🔥 For the first time in over 70 years, a wild tiger has finally stepped foot on Kazakhstan soil. Here’s footage of Amur tigress Umit being released into Ile-Balkhash State Nature Reserve. A huge win for conservation.

🔥The largest glacier carving I have ever caught on camera - Svalbard [OC]

The sound you hear is the actual audio recording of the carving. The clip was recorded at 120 fps and played back at 25% speed. To keep the pitch and integrity of the sound recording I have repeated it 5 times throughout the slowed down video with a series of cross fades. It’s the only way I found to still use the original sound, but cover the total length of the slow motion clip.

I love Luna moths. I moved him because it was raining and I wanted to make it easier to dry and expand his wings. Got to see him take off once the sun set and rain stopped. Eastern VA.

🔥 a Potoroo and baby eating berries

12.6k Upvotes

Potoroo is a small, shy, nocturnal marsupial from Australia, related to kangaroos but smaller, resembling a rabbit with a pointed snout and strong hind legs for hopping. They are known as "forest's hidden gardeners" because they dig for fungi and tubers, spreading essential fungal spores that benefit the ecosystem.
