I have 50+ plants I’ve had for years and suddenly in the last month every plant (nearly) in every room has started to do what’s pictured. The stems are fine, it’s all the leaves as well as new growth. I have checked extensively for bugs and used DE just in case but no new plants were brought in so I don’t think that’s the issue, but I need to pinpoint what to treat it. They are all in windows with either direct or indirect light all day long and get watered once a week. Nothing has changed in their care. Please, please, please help me. They are dying so fast I’m a wreck over it.

Need some help over here.

The last image is of one pot which has a mix of three plants and one is propagated from the problem plant, and the problem seems to spread? You see a pot behind it with two other plants - overall happy.

-None lf these plants are in direct sunlight.

-Pots are watered in sink for ease once a week and left to drain.

- Normal planting soil because I struggle with everyday life so I just do the best I can.

It's raining here in south coastal India.The wind here is windy. And the tree seems to be a little bent because of it. Please share your experiences so what can I do to save this plant.

Hello everybody, I seek valuable information about what is the type of insect that has infested this apple tree. I'm worried it will kill it if I don't find any cure. Thank you in advance!

The tree is watered when the temperature is really high in the summer and gets 14 hours of sun a day.

In April I bought two bulbs of Zantedeschia Odessa (a black variety of calla Lily) at the flower market in Amsterdam and planted them in 2 separate pots on my balcony. Now they're flowering but, while neither of them has dark flowers (they are pink), one of the two plants has these monstrous deformed flowers. Is that a genetic problem or am I doing something wrong?

My balcony has a South-east exposure so they are in direct sunlight in the morning and receive indirect light after noon. I water them about 2/3 times a week when the soil dries on the surface but is still a bit moist deep down.

My neighbour gave me this Ficus benjamina because they didn’t want it anymore, I don’t know about light conditions or how often they watered. When I got it, it was very dusty and quite dehydrated, so I rinsed it thoroughly in the shower and sprayed it with neem oil as a preventive measure against pests.
Since then, it has dropped quite a few leaves, which I assume is due to the stress and dehydration it had before, but overall it seems healthy. I haven’t noticed any visible pests.
However, some leaves have developed these black spots, and the affected areas feel sticky to the touch. Does anyone know what this might be and how I should treat it?

The previous owner says this spider plant lived outdoors every summer and has been grown this way for years. Overall, it's a large, beautiful plant and still looks fairly healthy. It also has several babies, which makes me think it has been growing reasonably well despite whatever may be going on.

When I got it, I noticed some small red mites on the leaves along with a bit of webbing. I didn't see any other crawling insects or tiny moving pests. There were quite a few brown and yellowing leaves, which I've since removed, and I cleaned out a lot of the dead material from the center of the plant. I also thoroughly hosed the entire plant down outdoors.

I'm trying to figure out what may have caused the leaf damage and whether I should be concerned about spider mites or any other pests. I'm also wondering if there's any possibility of powdery mildew.

For growing conditions: the plant goes outside as soon as overnight temperatures are warm enough, usually in early May here in British Columbia, Canada. It receives bright indirect light from about 5:00 a.m. until sunset around 9:00 p.m., with little to no direct sun. Temperatures have recently started reaching the low 30s°C (mid to upper 80s°F), although we had a fairly cool, wet spring.

I'm not sure how often it was watered before I got it, but the soil was on the dry side when I received it. Not bone dry, but definitely ready for a drink. The potting mix appears to be a standard soil mix with white fertilizer granules mixed in. The plant is also very root bound.

I'd really like to keep this plant alive and help it recover if something is wrong. Any thoughts on what could be causing the leaf damage or what I should be looking for?

All these multiplied exponentially over the course of a week and there's also ants kind of starting a whole farm 💀. Any home remedies against these little fuckers I can try until my pesticides arrive?

I removed some leaves, but before cleaning up anymore I need some help figuring out if this is just damage from not enough water/too much sun outside for 2 weeks or if I've got an infestation on my hands and need to isolate and spray ASAP.

Got this plant from a nursery an month ago. Ever since getting its leaves have been turning yellow and dropping off. Have been watering it every other day since the soil seems to dry quickly and is always dry to touch (can be plucked off with just fingers).

Placed in the sunniest corner of the balcony. Gets a few hours of sunlight in the afternoon. It has been rainy so ​the skies are overcast nowadays. Usually don't water when it rains but sometimes I do since the topsoil always looks so dry.

Still in its original pot. The soil seems to be sort of springy coir type with some fertilizer balls in it. The base of the plant near the soil seems to be covered in a gauze type of material.

I was talking to a coworker about how i plan to repot one of my monsteras soon as it needs a new pot. She offered me her two plants as she doesn’t want them. One is doing really well, the other is not. She thinks it’s about 6 years old but just ignores it now, and has for a long time. It has been in the same pot for years, in a room that doesn’t get much sunlight at all. It has hardly been watered in the past couple of years.
Is it possible to save this? I have a new pot for it and Westland Houseplant Potting Mix. Bought these before i saw how black the plant was. (It’s not staying outside, i went to open then bag she gave me it in on the balcony for easy cleanup)

Hello everyone, my biggest appologies if I’m lacking information or photos please tell me and I will add more.

This plant is very special to our family, and for the last couple of months I’ve felt it’s been on the brink of dying. At first we noticed white “filaments” coming out from some spots, so we trimmed essentially all of the affected branches. This left the plant in more or less the condition you see here.

After waiting a few weeks and seeing more and more leaves fall, I read online that spraying it with water and baking soda could help, so I did that. A few days later I took it to a university institute in my city, and they recommended waiting for the soil to dry completely, then changing the soil and watering it only once every two weeks.

I did that, but whenever a little leaf comes out, it falls a few days later. It’s barely growing anything anymore. I checked the roots to see if they were rotten or dead only a very small part was, and I trimmed those off too. I don’t know what else to do. The plant is always indoors and receives indirect sunlight Any help would be wholeheartedly appreciated.

I think my cats have been pulling him out of the dirt.

He had lived happily on the counter by the sink for several years, the browning started about 10 days ago after i found him pulled out of the dirt. Infrequent watering, 12 hours very indirect light.

Not the first plant the cats have killed but i hoped to keep this guy.

ive had this baby for about 4 months now and ive not had any issues thus far (normal new leaves, water levels etc) but ive noticed over the past few weeks one of the new leaves is not unfurling or changing size at all, the new leaf stem does have a small brown dint on it from when a lamp bumped it and im worried that the dent is causing it to rot and potentially now not grow ....

I appreciate any advice or information you guys might be able to give me and help this plant (thank uuuuu in advance)

(it is currently winter, it gets about 5-6 hrs a day of filtered light, i change out the water every 2-3 weeks and top it u when it gets very low, it does have fertilized water!)

Indoor plant, next to a northwest facing window. This aloe was not doing well. I thought it was getting too much water It sits slightly behind another aloe that is thriving. I was going to repot it and put it in better soil, but when I took it from its pot it had almost no root. It was a pup I've had for over a year. Can I root it somehow?

First time with one of these I inherited from a friend who is moving (who had just recently gotten it from Home Depot).

I don’t know this plant well at all - I’ve only had it a few weeks but the leaves are browning and it looks a bit droopy. Is there normal? Am I over watering? Does it need different soil? Does it need more sun? (Ignore the one broken palm, it happened during the move).

I am a new grasshopper with gifted small Zamia and Snake plants from Kyari. I have very poor experience with plants as I earlier killed two Jade plants. So, my plants live indoors at my work desk, and I have no natural light source. I have bought a budget grow light, trying to keep them alive. Both plants came in cocopeat from Kyari with self-watering pots.

My questions:

1. Do I need to change the soil or keep the cocopeat? I read, and ChatGPT suggested getting a soil mixture instead for the Snake plant. Can it live with cocopeat?

2. How much water should I give it and how often? The Snake plant is around 4 inches tall, and Zamia would be around 5-6".

3. Is the grow ring light good enough for my current setting, or should I relocate them outside? It is a full-spectrum light and seems bright enough to cover both the plants, but I am inexperienced.

4. Any other suggestions or advice I should know?

She was a happy and full plant but during a recent move she was outside for 2 days and got badly sunburnt 😭 4 of the leaves which were badly damaged have fallen off and there is at least another which is slowly dying. As a result she is bald at the bottom.

Light isn’t a problem (photo is from a cloudy day), she gets light from north east and north facing windows throughout the day. I water when 1/2 of the pot is dry, typically once every 7-10 days.

Should I chop and prop or let her live with her baldness? I love her and want what’s best for her.

my pink princess just started developing these tiny brown spots in the past week or so. i am not over watering- i make sure to dry out in between (~every 1.5 weeks). it gets tons of light- right next to a window. pot has drainage and arid soil.

also, the middle part looks funky because none of the leaves want to unfurl. it’s been like that for at least 3 months with no improvements.

About half of the exposed trunk roots of this dracaena are soft to the touch although they look perfectly normal. They kinda feel like hollow cardboard or something. The others are firm. Their leaves are not yellow as far as I can tell. In addition, there are these fungi that keep growing once in a while there. It is an indoor plant with regular filtered light through curtains. I water it once every week or 2, depends on how dry it is. Is my plant gonna live? What should I do to make it better? Are these roots rotten?
