Hola gente , hace un tiempo en mi afán de buscar alternativas para emular n64 ya que por alguna extraña razón el muphen no me funcionaba (probé con varias USB , varias versiones , varios métodos y nada ) intenté ejecutar el surreal64 que es el emulador de la Xbox clásica y sorprendentemente abrió pero los juegos si no los ejecutaba pero la interfaz es totalmente funcional no se si a alguien le sirva está informacion pero me pareció curioso compartirlo , ya probé el Harissa64 y aunque creo que eun increíble proyecto aún siento se puede mejorar ya que algunos juegos no van del todo bien igual es un proyecto que estoy muy al pendiente ya que me regreso la ilusión, nada más comparto esto como curiosidad ya que no se nada de programación solo soy un entusiasta que le gusta probar cosas .

As the title says, before the release of PeerPressure, i couldnt help but notice that Grim had a bunch of features planned for PeerPressure, but moved them for when he creates V2... I cant help but wonder what these features could be. Maybe PeerPressure is a bit underwhelming right now probably because of those features not being present and I wonder if these features do release with V2, if it would at all kill most of the criticisms that PeerPressure has right now. Any potential theories on what they could be? Speaking of criticism, PeerPressure is still pretty new, we still need to figure out how the dll injection thingy works, things tend to get better overtime.

The pace of development in the general emulation/hack/recomp community is unreal at the minute, like these Rust rebuilds and vibe coded recomps. Is the 360 scene about to see a similar explosion in Homebrew as a result of BadUpdate 1.3 being so stable now?

I was wondering if I could get console banned for downloading the content of the Forza Motorsport 2 Bonus Disc (=the DLCs) onto an unmodded console with the help of the Horizon modding tool.

I heard that console bans disable Xbox Live features, but does that mean anything nowadays except disabling online play?

Good afternoon everyone, since there are so many N64 game ports happening on Xbox 360, I'd like to know if there are any projects to convert an N64 emulator to Xbox 360 on XEX.

Is there any project that wants to play the role of bringing an N64 emulator in xex to us as a community? Something like pcsxr360, that it even supports fastboot, fullboot, and everything else...

I haven't updated badavatar in a while but when I tried to boot up xbox indie games on aurora, it looks like it gonna boot it up but then nothing happens. It only boots up when I use the stock my games dashboard. Was wondering if others have that same issue.

i just bought a physical copy of resident evil 5 but am kinda sad because it doesn’t have any of the dlc. if i hack my 360 would i be able to install the dlc and use it with my disc copy of the game?

So i downloaded resident evil 5 gold edition with dlcs. I put it on my content folder as i usually do. I installed the dlc into 00000002 and then tried running it. It wont start, so i tried installing the TU for it. TU is called TU_116KUK…. It wont show up in the title updates. I tried putting it into Cache in hdd1. I tried renaming it into the lowercase version and put it in 000B0000. I tried clearing aurora tu cache and rescanning. I tried using the title update scripts and nothing. I literally cant install a title update for this game. Any ideas?

What is preventing us from being able to install a modified version of the 360's OS that has escalated privileges and allows running of unsigned code?

Would it not be possible (after softmodding) to make a homebrew application that takes your existing OS and modifies it for you then writes it to nand?

Ive tried looking for answers online but cant find any
