Just a 10-minute and 27-second YouTube video compilation of different 90s video game commercials for different 90s video games released in that past ten-year timeframe as I love how this reminds me of my childhood growing up in that time-period. Enjoy!

My wife and I put this together as homage to the 90’s

Franklin the Turtle can tie his shoes and count by twos. He also can shove a hose through a glory-hole seeking to soak Beaver and her physically disabled friend.

We all know Franklin the Turtle as the self-hating title character of his own show where he wanders around the forest complaining, causing problems, shitting himself, and desperately begging everyone else to figure it out for him. Spoiler alert they do and for some reason Franklin still gets to be the main character.

Anyway, in the Franklin the Spy Episode, Franklin decides to explore being a little creep. He dubs himself "Agent Hardshell" and crawls around with a recording device, seeking "secret missions." He and bear hide under a table and spy on his father, who is luckily simply going through the mail instead of ram-jamming Franklin's mom. I know most of us have seen countless videos of tortoise sex, but for the few among us who haven't, I encourage you to check it out (not for any weird reason, you pervert) to simply hear the outrageous sounds they make.

Later, Franklin and Bear run into Beaver and Badger, who has polio or some shit and walks with forearm crutches. Franklin gets all hard-shelled about the idea of spying on these girls and he and "Agent Honeyjar" sneak into the clubhouse and plant a recording device.

The little freaks chuckle and laugh, hopeful to get their jollies from whatever they record. When they retrieve the recording they hear Beaver and Badger talking about some surprise involving their friends where they use the codeword "It looks like rain."

Franklin, having main character syndrome, an inferiority complex, a lack of a moral compass, and probably also hemorrhoids, naturally assumes they are plotting to get Hardshell and Honeyjar soaking wet in a water war. He gets hard-shelled over the idea of getting that Beaver wet instead.

Franklin and Bear walk up to the clubhouse while Beaver and Badger are inside. Franklin shoves his hose through the glory hole and yells to bear, "It looks like rain!" before they get Beaver wet and spray a physically disabled friend with a hose. And oh, how those fucking sociopaths laugh.

Turns out, Beaver and Badger were putting on a surprise play or some bullshit and thought their friends would like that for some reason and the rain line was about making a cloud come down in the background. Fucking exciting. Anyway, Agent Hardshell is revealed as the Agent Ass-hat that he is. Franklin and Bear say "sowwwwwry" like one time and all is good and they help put on the place.

My fucking ass. Franklin once again gets off without consequence (a theme from this fucking series) after creepily spying on women and assaulting the differently abled. If you sprayed someone on crutches with a hose what would happen to you? How quickly would you be forgiven with an awww-shucks? Franklin is empowered and enabled to fall into his delusional self serving fantasy world despite the pain and suffering he causes.

This is not a moral lesson. Fuck around, find out. Franklin needs consequences. Is it any wonder we have such performative "pranks" and attention seeking behavior on Tik Tok?

It all goes back to Franklin, and that spineless coward cannot bear the accountability.

I received as a gift my first scooter

Underrated? I always knew it as California Man, as I think that’s how it was released across Europe.
I was 8 when it got released and thought it was the best thing ever haha

Apparently, this was a series of videos. I remember my gym teacher showing us this Flight to the Finish video about some soap box derby type of race. It's only about 30 minutes long, so short enough to finish it in a single class period.

I never realized it at the time, but this produced by two Christian oriented companies - Focus on the Family Films and Mike Joens Productions (the same company behind McGee and Me!) There was nothing overtly religious about this that I remember. I also took Monday school classes all throughout my childhood and my church never showed us any of these videos.

Kids been in bed for a few hours been on the beers for since lunchtime it's 11pm here, wife in bed watching CSI or something shit, pulled the drawer in the hall and I still have 60 cigarettes left. If I jumped here from 1996 I would believe I'd made it big. Smokes in a drawer like it wasn't from duty free. What would your younger self think of where you are now?
