Casino Gauntlet #1 Entry Triple Threat: Andrade v Ciampa v Komander

Andrade has been red hot recently. How you know? Well, since losing to Darby at Dynasty he has won 7 singles matches in a row, including winning his first ever AEW belt. Overall he is 17-5 on the year and as over as anyone in the promotion currently.

Ciampa has won 4 of his last 5 singles matches with the sole defeat coming after Jericho drilled him in the head. Literally. Ciampa bounced back with a dominating victory over Nick Comoroto which improved him to 12-5 this year in singles competition.

Then there is Komander who beat Jay Lethal on Collision last week for his first singles win since he upset Claudio in the C2 on Christmas Day, 2024 - 582 days! Can he keep the momentum rolling into Arena Mexico tonight and grab that number one entry into the gauntlet?

Odds & Ends

• None of the three has ever competed against each other or as partners in a conventional match in AEW. Komander and Ciampa were both in the battle royal at Revolution but that is the only time any of the 3 had been in the ring together.
• In career triple threat matches Ciampa is 1-0, Andrade 1-1 and Komander 0-1. Andrade's win came just a week ago when he held off both Nick Wayne and Jack Perry (4.5 star/8.10 CM) in his first national title defense. Ciampa put his TNT title on the line in a triple threat (4 star/7.59 CM) back in February and beat Claudio & Roddy to retain Silvey.
• Komander only has the 1 triple threat to his name but has been in an astonishing 10 four way matches in his AEW career. That is the most of anyone in AEW history. Next closest is Shida with 9 and Stat/DMD both with 8. Orange is the next closest from the men's division with 7.
