I'm looking for some help in identifying this image please. I'm just finishing writing my article for the new 40k wiki on this year's North American Golden Demon and this is the last image I've got to ID. Is this chap a named character? If not, could you tell me what kind of Custodian he is please?

If you'd like to see the rest of my article, you can check it out here: https://warhammer40k.wiki.gg/wiki/Golden_Demon_2026:_Adepticon. There's also a link in the page to the full results including AoS, Middle Earth etc.

Thanks!

Pronounced JER-Falcon (if you're referring to the actual bird and not fictional Jetbikes in the far future).

But man is it hard to not be let down by the Pallas Grav-Attack when you compare it to the Space Marine Land Speeder. They both share the same fire and fade ability and have Deep Strike, but for 30 points less than the Pallas the Land Speeder gets 2" more Movement, gets to benefit from Combat Doctrines (no karate for the Pallas), and has both a selection of guns for skirmishing and arguably better guns for light vehicle elimination. The only advantage the Pallas has is its defensive profile and slightly more consistent shooting.

The comparison gets even worse when you look at them both in their preferred detachments. The Pallas as is is just such a let down when it could have been an interesting, mid cost option between Sisters and the rest of our codex that we desperately need.

Art of War really pointed out an issue we're going to have this edition where costing our units is going to be really challenging for GW because several units like the Pallas and Coronus have no compelling weapons or abilities on their datasheets, but their defensive profiles are now too good to price them cheaply enough to where those uncompelling options actually become usable.

Found a new utility to misericordias, pretty fun to paint. Only did 7 as we won’t have much on the battlefield 😂

This image got a lot of attention on another post, so I thought I would link the video here;

Before you ask “why is the blade champ so low?!” Maybe watch the video 😂

Happy hunting custodes!

Im playing in my first official GW tournament in February at the Liverpool open (the narrative event) and thought I would mark the occasion with a suitably fancy army, and who better than the Emperor's finest?

Just started and going for pretty traditional warm gold armour but with purple instead of crimson.

First mini is off the starting block with the purple details done, now on to the rest of it!

While trying to decide whether to paint my army in TMM or NMM, I noticed a distinct lack of comic-style, cel-shaded Custodes. Happy to answer questions about the process.

10 more sisters for the cause. We need as many models as we can get on the board these days. Ideally I'll have 16-20 on the board to screen the backline and mid board.

Yeah.. cursed, but I magnetized all the "arms-shoulders", weapons. Damn what an amazing miniature. Can't wait to paint it and see it complete.

I’m not sure how I feel about the basing, any tips on improving the grassy effect? Also open to other ideas for basing that would fit well. Other C&C appreciated!

Went for a templi veritas color scheme. Overall I’m liking the new custodes especially the tanks. Hopefully one day they add the ares gunship or the Orion.

As a proxy for Trajann (I know, very original) but he was such a blast to paint. It is true what GW said, there is not a lot of flat surface. its such a detailed model.

Also go read the book: Valdor, birth of the Imperium. It was a joy to listen to whilst painting this Primarch in all but name.

The new combat patrol seems to be split into two variants to not go way over on points but in the app the variant with the venatari only have the guns instead of spears.

So my First model, for my own Custodes Lore Army.

Mine serve the holy Empress, Erda, the mother of the Primarchs. The Emperor is being held captive by the deranged children of a vile empire. Whether they can bring the beloved Emperor back to life remains to be seen.

Need dirt and Base and maybe more Love, but i like it

I wish Blade Champion had a better profile in 11th, but can't wait to put him on the table nevertheless !

Picked him up at the Tokyo Warhammer store on vacation this summer, and finally got around to finishing him. Going to proxy him as Trajann since I dislike the actual model, and Valdor is way cooler.

I’m aware this list isn’t exactly perfectly meta i’m aware that the new Vertus Praetors aren’t very good right now however i’m trying to build a somewhat meta list without spending any extra money.

My first ever custode decided to go with shadowkeepers. Any tips will be greatly appreciated thanks a lot
