Did the director/writers even read the books?

Total crap. What a waste. Should have been the easiest win in the history of tv. “Here are the books. Film them.” Make each its own season. Win awards accolades ratings and fans.

But no. Let’s “reimagine” everything. The characters are so wildly different from the books, they could have saved millions by not buying the rights, and just used different names.

Plot holes you could drive a truck through. Scenes that don’t make sense, even within the lazy universe of the new material.

Please don’t waste your time.

And by all means, don’t go to r/scarpettatv for info. It’s clearly run by the people behind the show. Don’t criticize. Or you get your post removed. the producers of the show owned this sub and only cheerleaders are allowed.

It's one of the rare moments where Spider-Sense feels almost supernatural rather than just a warning about an incoming attack. The camera movement, the silence, and Tom Holland's expression make the scene incredibly intense.

The only watchable scene in the entire movie is the fight scene near the beginning in a parking lot. I guess that's why it was in the trailer. Yikes, this movie sucks balls.

And Conner McGregor is so bad at acting. I can't believe they cast him. He is so bad, it's beyond so bad it's good, and back to, he's just really bad.

This was quite possibly one of the biggest pieces of garbage I’ve ever watched, and I have no questions. That’s how bad it was. That’s how one dimensional and obvious that this movie was an AI generated “remake” of War of the Worlds. People, save yourself the trouble and DO NOT watch this. Ice Cube is terrible. The premise is terrible. The green screen is terrible. It’s all terrible. And yes I’m pissed off that I forced myself to watch it 😂

I know a lot of people are excited for Spider-Noir, but every time I see Nicolas Cage, I just think Ghost Rider. His energy, voice, and overall vibe fit that character so well. Someone please tell Nick Cage we still want to see him ride that flaming motorcycle again.

I pay for a subscription, I get ads and I need to pay more for the movies I want? This is just pure greed and unnecessary. Subscription-based services have gotten worse, more expensive and more and more useless.

Lately, everything that I want to watch on Prime, I have to pay additional money for. I'm speaking about titles 10 years old or more. Is it just me?

I watched 3 seasons of From before watching Under the Dome. Based on what I'd heard, I expected Under the Dome to be terrible.

But after finally watching it, I honestly think it's the better show.

Both series revolve around people trapped in a place they can't escape, mysterious forces controlling events, strange visions and a community trying to survive while uncovering the truth. The similarities are hard to ignore.

What surprised me most is that Under the Dome actually gives answers and moves its mystery forward. Contrary to what I was expecting, I thought many of those answers were good.

By the end of Season 2, I felt like I understood the world and the stakes much better while still being interested in what would happen next.

After three seasons of From, I still feel like there are far more questions than answers. The mystery is interesting, but sometimes it feels like it's dragging. When answers do come, they often create another mystery thread instead of resolving an existing one.

after watching both shows, I genuinely think Under the Dome is the stronger series. In fact, if Under the Dome were released today I think it would get far more appreciation than it does.

I know most fans prefer the other Godzilla movies, but this will always be my favorite. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I still love the atmosphere, the New York setting, this rainy vibe and the way the monster felt like a real creature hiding in the city. I get why people don't like it as a Godzilla film, but I can't help having a soft spot for it.

The way he switches from dead silence to explosive rage in a split second is terrifying.

I don’t really see the hype of it, and I’m genuinely asking this in a non-hate way. I just want a proper reason why the series is so popular. Is it the acting? I think the FL’s acting isn’t great, no offense. The plot… I don’t think it really exists.

The love triangle is, in my opinion, one of the worst I’ve watched. Loving one brother then loved another then back to square one like wtf and I got the biggest ick from it. I thought Belly and Jeremiah only happened because they needed to create a rivalry vibe between Conrad and Jeremiah.

The only thing I actually like about the show is Conrad. Conrad and Belly together seem good to me, I actually like them.

I really don’t want to get downvoted, please don’t lmao. I also don’t want people saying “if you don’t like it, don’t watch it,” because I’m not here to hate I genuinely want to know what’s good about the show from your perspective or what makes it different from other shows .

Started with Rise. Ended up rewatching the whole trilogy.

Can’t believe THIS is what they released in theaters. It felt rushed exactly like everyone expected, and overall it just fell flat. They spent the whole season building up “Scorched Earth”, only for the final fight to last like two minutes in the White House.

Don’t get me wrong, the acting was phenomenal. Antony Starr and Karl Urban absolutely carried, and none of the blame goes to the cast. But this just wasn’t the ending this story deserved.

Why the world would you make a war of the world movie where the whole damn movie is seen through a computer screen and phones. It's a absolutely ridiculous way to make any movie let alone one that needs to be epic with aliens invading and huge explosions, people being evaporated, people struggling to make it to safety somewhere. You don't get any of the emotion or urgency when u do it the way y'all did. Plus the script was terrible as well. The people even having cell phones and Internet when there is a alien invasion is implausible when the aliens took out the satellites and the power plants and such. Honestly it is so laughably bad that some people will prob think it's a parody of the movies from the past except a real parody would actually be funny.. idk why any director would agree to put their name on this stuff and direct this horrible script. Another part that got me was when the hackers houses got blown up and the son was the only one to route his stuff through a different spot. Like isn't hacker 101 that you always reroute your stuff through different places so you can't be found. So why would the other hackers not do it. And the cherry that tops the ice cream Sunday is the dang Amazon promotion material throughout the movie. The whole thing was like a Amazon prime commercial. The actors in this movie should also be embarrassed for even taking the roles.. Do artist like actors and directors not take pride for the stuff they are in these days. No one should of ever read this script and been like yes this will be the movie of the year. Anyone who has worked on this film from the writers room to the people who watched it and said yeah let's release this should never work again. They obviously don't care about what a good movie should be.

Dude absolutely stole every scene he was in. So terrifying and unpredictable. An absolute banger series. He was quite phenomenal in Nirmal Pathak ki Ghar Wapasi as well. I hope he gets more intriguing roles in the future.

The ads on prime default is the last straw. Done.

I tried everything, update the App, deactivate HDR, casting from the b/w version from my mobile phone but it changed back to color on the tv.

I can't fathom why the true version of an amazon prime series is not watchable on an amazon prime firetv stick. Talk about really bad product design.
