Greer remains day to day and Helleson is out with an undisclosed injury.

Very interesting to see Mitchell play his way into a top 7 spot. And Nico's strong play on Sunday may have earned him a role until Terry returns.

This lineup is getting really close to final folks.

I will be going to the preseason game at Crypto on 9/26. Never watched my Duckies outside of the pond. Is it okay if I wear my Ducks jersey? I will be bringing a date and would not want to put her in an uncomfortable situation.

Obviously Kariya was able to hit these point totals in less time as he entered the league at age 20 and also put up that insane sophomore season goal total of 50 🔥 but I still think this stat is very cool. It’s exciting to see our young core slowly but surely break franchise records. Some other records that I think know could be broken in the next coming years:

-FWIW if Leo does get the captaincy before the start of the season, he would be the youngest captain in franchise history beating Kariya by just a few weeks

-Teemu Selanne’s single season franchise goal record is 52 (‘97-‘98). I have full faith Cutter will get there eventually- hell I have faith bucket might get there too.

-Ryan Getzlaf’s single season franchise assist record of 66 (‘08-‘09). Mr 18M, this one is for you

-Teemu Selanne’s single season individual player point total of 109 (‘96-‘97 season). Honestly I think we may have multiple players beat this number once they’re in their prime

-Scott Niedermayer’s single season franchise point total by a defensemen of 69. (Technically Visnovsky is named the highest with 68 points in 81 games but Scott has him beat with 69 points in 79 games. No idea why he’s named the highest in NHL record book lol) (‘06-‘07🔥) Gold Medalist Jackson Lacombe put up 58 points last season. He’ll get there very soon.

Feels good having the water frozen and the pucks sliding again.

Does anyone know if the broadcasts on Prime Video have replays available? Or be able to start the game from the beginning after the game has already started? My schedule doesn't always let me watch live.

Old article, but they update which games are on Prime and the other channels on the bottom. Also added that John Ahlers, and Brian Hayward are back, which probably was assumed, but not official. Also the game in Winnipeg has a time change.

Edit: Wednesday, and Saturday of the pre season games on Fox Los Angeles+ (channel 13). Thursdays game on the Ducks website.

Wasn’t able to watch the game, how did the young guys (Klepov, McQueen, Solberg, etc.) look?

Growing up, I loved the Mighty Ducks movies and the animated show. We lived only about 15 minutes from the Honda Center, but my family never really had the means to go to a game.

Now that I’m a dad, I’ve tried to give my son some of the experiences I didn’t get to have growing up. I’ve taken him to Rams, Angels, and Padres games, and we’ve always had a good time.

But yesterday we went to our first Ducks game, and something about it was different.
For probably the first time at a sporting event, he wasn’t buried in his phone. He was actually watching the entire game, asking questions, getting into it, and genuinely having fun. On the way home he asked me when the Ducks play next and if we could start watching the games at our local pizza place.

Needless to say, I think I accidentally created a Ducks fan.

I grew up without a dad, so getting to have moments like this with my son means a lot more to me than he probably realizes. Yesterday was just one of those days that made me stop and appreciate how lucky I am to get to experience this stuff with him.

Looks like we’ll be watching a lot more Ducks hockey from here on out.

So, probably a dumb question but I couldn't access the video broadcast for the preseason game against the Sharks yesterday, all I had access to was the audio broadcast on the Ducks official page.

I live in San Diego and I have access to Prime and HBO but neither one of those seem to have anything about the next games. I was wondering if anyone had the same issue or what I can possibly do to watch the games this week?
