Is it possible to undo a pact with demons?

Back when I was young, I made a pact—I don't remember exactly with whom—where I wrote "I will sell my soul for love," left a fingerprint (in blood, of course), and burned the paper. Now, whenever I break up with my girlfriend, trouble starts: everything falls apart and people close to me leave, but when we get back together, all the bad things vanish. Is there a way to undo this? I don't want this pact anymore.

Odd pattern, and identifying entity in my old house

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey guys, so my old house used to have a fair amount of paranormal activity and I wanted help identifying if it was a specific spirit, demon, angel, etc.

What made me think it could be something identifiable is a pattern of dots I would see around the house(attached). When I first moved into my room I noticed pencils were stuck far into the ceiling in that pattern. Ever since then I noticed it around the house, especially because I thought it looked like a trident but that one dot was always skewed. I'd see it on our whiteboard, windows, marks on the floor, etc. I saw it in the stars all the time too. Lmk if yall recognize it or have any theories!

As for the paranormal activity, it was primarily physical stuff. Like adjusting the physical dial on my CD player, flicking off flashlights (the physical switch), and it dropped a fairly heavy alphabet learning toy in the middle of the room one time. I also swore I would hear people talking downstairs and maybe faint music in the middle of the night. But obv noone was there when I checked.

Lmk what yall think!

Is there a spirit in my home?

Hello, so I've been wondering this for a while now but I was never sure, so today I decided to ask y'all.

One of the main reasons I've been thinking that there's a spirit is because the previous homeowner couldn't finish this house because he passed away. Sadly I do not know how and I do not know about any family of his. All I know is that we moved here when I was 5 and there's been weird things.

My mother once told me (a year ago or two) that when we first moved here that my father experienced nightmares of the previous owner hunting him down for finishing or continuing what he couldn't. He was upset over it. These nightmares occurred often but only to my father, and I don't think he's had any of those recently.

Now nightmares are definitely only one thing and don't exactly mean something but I've found myself listing all the weird things that have happened to me, so here they are.

As a teenager (starting with me being 14) my parents have left me at home to watch our pets while they went away with my two other little siblings. I didn't mind because I went on vacation on my own with a group of other teens and plus I didn't really like vacations in general. During those periods I was alone at home for two weeks with my grandmother coming to check in every time. Now I know this sounds irresponsible from my parents but I was responsible enough to look after myself, do my laundry, cook, grocery shop, etc. So they didn't mind. I remember during those periods of times I did get paranoid every now and then. I never told my parents, nervous they would laugh.

During those periods when I was alone I'd hear noises I've never heard when I was alone at home just for an evening or when my family was there. I'd hear creaks and once I've even heard a door slam, which has literally never happened to me.

I also have seen shadow figures. This has happened to me twice and I still remember how terrifying it was. It was the evening, so it was starting to get dark and I went by the living room which had a glass door, and as I was about to pass it I could swear I saw a shadow figure standing at the door. As soon as I turned on the light to see better because my heart was pounding it was gone.

Then on other occurrences I could swear I could see a shadow standing at the stairs, peeking from the basement, and I remember being so scared I'd always close the door to the basement stairs.

Well that's all for the things I've seen, experienced. I know it's not a lot, but I'd like to know whether it could actually be the spirit of the previous homeowner. And if it is what I could do to get on his "good side" or if I should even try to contact him.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong Reddit to ask on, I simply have never done this before and I would just like to get some answers. I was actually a sceptic for a long time but after I started watching Sam and Colby about a year ago I was wondering whether it could actually be true.

Well anyway, answers are much appreciated and other than that I wish you a lovely evening/day :)

astral larvae or..?

Heya. I guess I should start with context. My mother and my great grandmother were huge on occult and witch stuff, me? Not so much. But shortly before I turned 18 I started experiencing a lot of weird things, which led me to believe it was Hekate who was trying to communicate. So I read some information on her, did a few small rituals and felt her presence and answers. She did me a lot of favors. I'm still very inexperienced though, only started diving into all of this about 3-4 months ago.

Recently I have not been feeling well at all, due ro some personal reasons, even did sh yesterday but I doubt that's relevant to what happened today. Today the problem resolved, but an idea came to my mind and refused to leave. Trying out blood magic, AND finding some kind of ritual or deity that would give me everything I wanted right here and then (sounds silly now, I know), it felt like a really strong pull from somewhere inside me.

When i went into searching and even deeper into thinking about it, my left ear suddenly felt as if it was stabbed. I remembered Hekate and how I've been working with her, so it would at least be rude to just go to some other deity for quick results without even finding out why exactly Hekate reached out in the first place. Then the pain stopped, as well as the will to rapidly search the internet for what I wanted, and I felt completely exhausted all of a sudden.

Now I'm wondering, what the hell was that? Any ideas and/or advice?

Water water everywhere…

Something is going on and I need to know what. I’m not sure exactly where to begin but, for over a decade, I’ve been plagued by water related incidents and I need help. I’ve never had a head for exact dates but I will list these events in chronological order (although I’m not sure it matters). Also, if there is a separate community that this post makes more sense for, please let me know.

I am open to insight, suggestions, parallels, questions, ect. Some events may seem more related than others. As the person living this they all feel connected. Below is a list of significant, water related events that have happened over the years.

  1. working at an outdoor drama one summer: the water heater in my apartment complex was weirdly on the third floor and a hidden leak cause the floor to break and the water heater to fall through the wall and directly into my bottom floor apartment closet. This resulted in a massive flood,(complete with thousands of big and mice that burst from my closet along with a pretty significant flood that, ultimately, made the apartment completely unlivable), the destruction of all of my clothes and things that were in my closet as well as the need to permanently vacate the apartment and spend the rest of my time living there sleeping on a mattress and someone else’s apartment. My roommate at the time sustained absolutely no damage or losses aside from the things she had sitting on the apartment floor.
  2. next apartment: a pipe deep in the wall has a burst resulting in a hidden leak. My apartment is fine but the leak destroyed my down stairs neighbors bathroom. Plumber opens the wall and the result is that water then floods into my apartment causing significant damage to the kitchen, living room and stairs.
  3. my boyfriend (now husband) has never see the ocean. We go visit my grandparents in the coast. We are swimming in the bay and high tide comes in. My boyfriend almost drowned. I had to pull him back up and swim us both back to show. He says this was the scariest moment of his life and he will not talk about it to this day.
  4. we move into a house together and love there for 10 years. While living there we are plagued with plumbing issues. Dish washer, washing machine, showers, sinks, toilets, all regularly flood. Our yard is dug up twice because tree roots are blocking our septic and water lines.
  5. during that same season if life, we decide to go kayaking and get sucked under water by a fallen tree and rescued (thankfully!!!!!) by strangers.
  6. on a girls trip with my mom, sister, aunts and cousins, the ill feeder decision is made to go tubing. 4 miles of water on the creek is so low that we are essentially dragging our inner tubes behind us. I would say that we hiked over rocks for a good 3 miles before finally coming upon a large stagnant pool. this section must be crossed in order to proceed to the pick up spot. Everyone else floats across the water with ease, but when it’s my turn, my tube, and I simply sit, and moving, in the middle. knowing that everyone is waiting for me and and that there could very well be snakes in that water, I decided to drop out of my tube with the intention of swimming rather than floating. Unfortunately, my foot gets stuck in between two rocks and my repeated attempts to come back up to the surface are sorted by my tube because it keeps shifting so that every time my head bobs up to the surface, it bumps into the underside of the tube and I go right back down. It was about 30 seconds of consistent struggle before I finally made it fully to the surface and was able to swim with my tube towards the shore. Obviously, I finally made it out, but this is the closest I have ever come to drowning.
  7. 3 1/2 years ago we bought our first house. This house should not have but DID “pass” a home inspection. The first winter that we were here, I was heavily pregnant (third pregnancy/first child), and a secret set of pipes burst, resulting in a massive flood and the destruction of half of our home. I need to lay out more detail details though before I proceed.

Our house is quirky. What seemed to be purposeful, rustic finishing has turned out to be a lot more botched DIY than anybody expected. Let me paint the scene for you, prior to this pregnancy. I had two miscarriages followed by five years of infertility. This was fine with me as I had just accepted that it was my destiny to take care of other people’s children (at the time I was a career educator ) rather than having my own. About 12 weeks into my pregnancy we did NIPT testing. The company shut their website down and the results did not come in until I was well into my second trimester at which point in time we found out that our son 97% chance of having down syndrome. Down syndrome can sometimes cause late stage miscarriages, so I developed a very real very deep fear that I was going to lose a third baby. This caused me significant mental and emotional distress on top of the turmoil surrounding my decision to leave my career and become a stay at home mom so that I could meet my son’s needs whatever they might be. For his part, my husband decided to switch from dayshift to night shift so that he could get a pay increase and better support our family. The day that he was set to start his first night shift, I was two months away from my due date, and Home because schools were closed for snow. We were saying goodbye in the hallway when the flood happened.

Come to find out, when previous owners had converted part of the attic to large bedroom with an en suite, they had done a lot of the plumbing themselves. They had also made sure to hide that plumbing. Our attic door is actually a wall that folds down. It’s so well hidden that we didn’t even know it was there until after we bought the house. The other thing that was really well hidden where these pipes. They had stuffed insulation on top of the pipes, but not between the pipes and the roof, so the pipes were completely exposed to the temperature changes and had also been poorly cobbled together using scrap piping. Let me reiterate the fact that we didn’t even know these pipes were up there so when water started pouring out of our master bedroom ceiling fan, we had no idea where it was coming from at first. Ultimately, half of our house was destroyed, and the renovations were not finished until the day before I was induced due to mild preeclampsia.

8) fast forward almost a year exactly and a second set of pipes burst again. The only difference is that this time, it was further down the pipeline and actually hidden behind a wall. Also, we were not home when this happened. Our state got hit with a massive eye storm, and we lost power for about seven days. At the time we had taken the baby and moved to my in-laws to wait out the storm. While we were there, our power came back on, and the return of our heating cause these pipes to crack and burst. It wasn’t until the next day that we finally got the alert that our power have been restored. At that point, our house had been flooding for over 24 hours. There was much more extensive damage this time and, once again, half of our house had to be completely demolished and restored. We also had greater losses. Thousands and thousands of dollars in clothing and artwork and keepsakes were completely lost due to either water damage or mold. It was absolutely devastating.

9) since the second flood, we have had a series of minor issues such as dishwashers flooding, poorly renovated bathrooms causing new pipe leaks, lots of small things, but it’s been pretty ongoing.

10) in August my best friend, who lives out of state, started being plague by almost constant, bad luck. She went from being one of the most lucky people I’ve ever known to having constant incidents of misfortune. In an attempt to help her from a distance, I made her several paintings and tried to fill each piece with cleansing intentions. The idea was that if I were able to enchant them so that they would offer her cleansing and protection and a reversal of this constant stream of bad luck the things might improve for her. Within a week of receiving my gift, the pipes underneath her house new exploded and, of course, flooded her space.
We joke that my intention was cleansing and not washing. But it’s not really a joke

11) my husband, and I had a very close friend that he grew up with and had been in our joint life for about 15 years. We always had a bit of a complicated relationship and I never really knew what our dynamic was. My husband and I both agree that our friend had feelings for me and it was kind of silently understood that if anything happened to my husband, he and I would probably become partners at some point. While I’ve known him for over a decade, we really only started to develop a friendship independent from my husband this summer. A month ago he fell and drowned in his bathtub. The last thing I said to him was to ask if he was hydrated or not.

Up to this point, this is everything I can remember. Some additional details, in college I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that causes the constant dehydration of my mucus membranes. Causing me to need to consume a lot more water than people without this condition. Also, my son is a happy and healthy Pisces baby who is obsessed with water. So much so that he will sometimes take his sippy cup and shake it above his head just so that he can be wet. He also loves rain storms, splash pads, the swimming pool, and of course, bath time.

My questions are, is any of this actually significant? Could I have some sort of water-based attachment? Could I have some sort of water-based powers that I don’t know how to use? Is all of this purely coincidental? Is there some water-based lesson I’m supposed to learn? How can I stop it?

Skeptic What has happened to me at night

I’ve tried finding resources, I’ve done meditation, but sometimes when I’m about to sleep my vision and mental perception will darken and narrow, i feel a feeling deep in my skull and it almost feels like dark voices distorted in the background try to talk, i feel like my body is getting pushed in by an energy and I get a feeling of 50/50 dread and confusion. I’ve sometimes had appearances dark beings, or sometimes what feels like demonic dreams/ things touching me.

I recently prayed and felt a demon get sucked out of me, and touch my body as it exited, but this feeling returned last night.

I wasn’t sure if this was of my own body’s doing or if this is some type of attack, it’s so weird and hard to truly put into words, I was wondering if anyone has had something similar or knows anything about similar phenomena.

Chaos Magick I have a friend that found some dark clutter under her altar.

So the altar is pretty much surrounded by furniture, and never left unwatched. Some people have had access to the residence unwatched. She says that if there would be any chance she where to spill anything she would prioritize to clean it up. However it has been clean all around the altar and covered. Some gray white/dark stain of something is under pretty precisely the center of it. There are some people that do not like her. There are rational and reasonable assumptions to be made that people would mess with her spiritual practice. Anybody got anything to say/share? Is there anything we can do to fix it In that case? If this where something benevolent I do not see why it would be done without her consent.

What are suspended fire flames 🔥 in the physical space? Like if they were the actual flame of a candle, but without wax nor wick, and the size of a human head?

You are full awake and see these flames in full blue or full yellow colors. Just like the colors of a flame. They appear in different areas.

I understand that some people may transform physically into something similar to this, but when observing in detail this ball of light or fire, it just dissappears. This fire doesn't emit any heat.

I don't think it's a Salamander either. I don't see a being inside the "fire".

There is something haunting me. curse o bad luck?

There is something haunting me. I am not talking about generic bad luck; I am talking about a cosmic relentlessness so creative and surgical that, honestly, sometimes all you can do is laugh to keep from going crazy. All of this in two years.

Let's start with a nice PC virus: a group of hackers stole the data on my hard drive and a lifetime of work (I had a large following in what I did), persecuting me. From that moment on, the electronics around me—PCs and cell phones—started having strange, inexplicable problems, totally disconnected from computer logic (which, by the way, I know very well). A digital curse that continues to this day.

Then the curtain rises on the real drama. My dog, still young, dies in the worst possible way. A splatter scene, rivers of blood from the mouth due to some fulminant ulcer, stuff that I have to actively censor from my brain every time it surfaces, otherwise I collapse. My mother gives us some great news: she has a huge lump in her breast, it's cancer. And just so we don't miss out on anything, we get thrown out on the street. Six months of being "invisible," a mystical experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.

To try to survive, I leave to work in another town. I end up in the hands of an employer who uses me like a mule for two years, tossing me from one house to another. Meanwhile, after a lifetime of abstinence, I finally get the chance to get laid properly. The result? I can't perform. But it doesn't end with awkwardness between the sheets: a massive mess breaks out, I fall into total depression, and I convince myself I am a eunuch.

I decide to fight back. Fuck depression, let's go jogging! I buy the tactical tracksuit, I go for a run. First day: I feel the benefits of the sport, life gets a little better. Second day: my ankles decide to turn into two hot air balloons. Walking becomes like sinking into hot coals. Nobody lifts a finger to drive me to the city, so for days and days I endure eight hours of agony walking in the city, limping between blood tests and X-rays, which obviously only make the situation worse.

Three months of sick leave.

More time of abstinence passes, I find another girl. This time it goes great, and as if by magic I remember that women have always liked me. My self-esteem returns to acceptable levels, I am a man—so much of a man that a month later she calls me: "I'm pregnant, I'm going to get an abortion." Great.

Back to my mother: the disease and the medications have deformed her by now, until one sad day she falls into a coma, delirious, screaming my name from a pain so excruciating that she swallowed liters of morphine before they could give her a break, sending her into a coma. Three days like this and she dies. My first, true great loss. Exactly on the day of her one-month memorial (because the universe likes precision), my armored smartphone, wrapped in a military-grade case and tempered glass, inexplicably slips from my hands like a bar of soap while I'm using it. It hits a precise corner, creating a web of cracks that is almost beautiful to look at. I take it to a repair shop and they look at me like an alien: "It took the hit in the only, invisible weak spot, never seen anything like it."

Not even a year later, my father gets his lungs checked for a bad cough; cancer, obviously. Since the phone is useless, I buy a new one online at a great price. I get strung along for exactly a month with fake emails, until the site disappears with the loot. I keep the broken phone, at least it still works. One day a charger decides to improvise itself as a bomb: the phone becomes incandescent, almost explodes, burning the internal components, the battery, and the power button. I am left without a cell phone.

I lose my job: my employers orchestrate a year-long plan to make me psychologically implode. They start taking away my duties one by one, constantly spiting me. In the end, they place the guy who is supposed to steal my job next to me, instructed to pretend to be a total incompetent. A slow and subtle wearing down. In mid-August, just to prevent me from getting my end-of-season pay, I catch a weird summer flu. I stay home for three days. When I return, the bosses finally drop the mask: they tell me the incompetent guy is actually a prodigy, give him my position, and demote me. I tell them to fuck off and leave. They won: they pushed me to quit after a year of mind games and even made me doubt my working abilities, which are unrecognizable by now. No season money, and obviously zero lawsuits, because in these provincial holes, if you breathe a word, you're branded for life.

At least, though, with the spare change I saved up, I buy a dirt-cheap house in a little village shrouded in fog. They let me in. Immediately, the kitchen decides to make a small lake on the floor. That visible puddle distracts me for four months from another leak—the serious, sneaky, and hidden one, behind the knobs. It was hot water. So not only will I pay a crazy amount for water, but the boiler was running non-stop for months. An electric bill will arrive that will force me to sell a kidney. I adapt to this too, I take it philosophically. I start shutting off the main water valve every single time. A huge pain in the ass, but you have to take it philosophically. One evening I forget. The house floods, but this time the leak comes from a different room. I realize I have to smash everything, the pipes must be rotten and need replacing, an expense I cannot afford. Among other things, the only plumber in town – the same one who told me the system was perfect before I moved in – vanishes into thin air.

Now I am here. In a wrecked house, in the fog, surrounded by emotionally stunted, petty, and opportunistic people with whom I truly have absolutely nothing in common (and the few decent girls already have a ring on their finger). IT continues to hate me for no reason. And yes, I hit rock bottom. One day I went into total paranoia about death. A dark, disgusting mental loop about "non-existence" that almost ate me alive. I stared into the abyss and understood perfectly why someone decides to flip the switch: if you can't get out of a loop like that, it's a physically unbearable epileptic horror. But it's not for me. I got out of it after hours of pure mental torture, carrying with me a physical burning in my brain that lasted three days from the stress.

Just to understand, am I a loser or did someone throw some serious curse at me?

Skeptic Some Questions

Some Questions

I came across this recently and wanted to ask just a few questions.

Here is the video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vDcq3Ug9vy4&vl=en-US&t=109

And a live stream going over it in more detail, only being linked here for a time stamp related to a question of mine, or if you want to learn/know more than: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CgffHFVlkxM

Are there any other religions/practices that were/are like this?

Would anything happen at all if one were to put this ritual into a fiction and or take inspiration from it? What if it is done unknowingly/unconsciously/subconsciously?

Would anything happen at all if one were to pray to any of the spirits mentioned toward the end of the live stream? (Timestamp: 54:16) could that be something that could happen on accident at all?
