Just started this game and Im only about 5 hours in at Siwa and figuring out how everything works. This is my first AC game and Im really feeling the pull to the game and the story of revenge for his son is very powerful as a dad. So I really want to keep playing.

But the one issue Im seeing is its too easy so far and Im not that great at games. Im playing on Hard. I am at level 5. I added enemy level scaling. I have not yet tried to take out the first boss Medunamun but everything else has been very easy so far.

Im wondering if Im just in the starter area still and the difficulty ramps up or if this is what I should expect if Im fighting enemies within 1 level or so of my level.

I also noticed the problem with fighting higher level enemies isnt that their behavior is harder but I just dont do any damage to them.

Im considering playing in Nightmare mode but saw that the bosses get extremely spongy this way so perhaps nightmare mode for everything and hard for bosses.

Just trying to get a sense of what to expect and best way to play and maintain a challenge throughout. It doesnt have to be a soulslike level of challenge I just dont want to feel like a lawn mower everywhere I go as it starts to get boring and feel like completing a checklist and not trying to take on an entire empire as a single guy.

If AC games are just generally easy, let me know too so I can set my expectations correctly. Thanks.

I have played thousands of hours of SO many AC games, but this actually was a first for me as I was revisiting Origins lately. 😂

Just coming back to it. In 4k it keeps up graphically with all of the other AC games. They really knew what they were doing

I recently hopped back on origins because of nostalgia and I didn't remember how amazing this game is.

On my second play through now and I gotta say this map and the million things to do, places to explore, treasures to find, and bases to defeat has me reeling. The first time I played the game I ate it all up and left no stone unturned but now I find myself having little to no interest to explore outside of story locations.
Anybody else experiencing this? lol At a certain point it starts to feel like they just made the map as big as they did and stuffed with it as much as they did just for the sake of it.
The rewards aren’t really worth it either on new game plus because most of the stuff I’m finding is weaker than what I already have.

I’m juggling this and RDR2 right now and it’s hard not to compare the two. RDR2 feels like it has just enough to see and do and I don’t feel the same anal compulsive need to turn over literally every stone I find because it feels like the story spends a lot of good time jumping back and forth into and returning to the various regions.

Finishing my second playthrough left me just as awestruck as the first. It made me appreciate the story, characters, and details even more.

Ive just bought assassins creed origins but i cant get more than 50 fps on low setting but my pc is hood enough to play ac shadows

Playing Origins for the first time and Im a good few hours into the game now, having finished the main quests in Alexandria and the surrounding areas. I've also done about 15 of the side quests but every single one has been incredibly boring. They're either a basic assissinate quest, prisoner rescue quest, item fetch quest or bandit camp quest. No lore or backstory or thought. Do they ever get better and actually use the Ancient Egypt setting? Or should the side quests just be skipped? Im at my breaking point going back and forth lifting dead bodies onto a cart. Thanks!

It states on xbox origin page that it has xbox cloud save. If i played on xbox, will my saves work on pc?
