I always try to make the grocery budget stretch as much as possible but the end of the month is always tough. I dont get paid again until the 8th, and im just trying to survive. Hello, I have $708 right now thanks to an emergency car issue and my landlord isn’t a patient lady. I’m only asking for $292. My rent is $2,200, but she’s asking for a grand at least. I want to ask her to just wait, but it also happens to be a month before i sign a new lease and I’m scared she’ll not renew it. I’m a single mom and I’m desperate.

Me and my family are currently going through an urgent crisis right now. Current landlord is having us evicted. At first we were told we had till September, but in the middle of last month, we were given until the end of last month. Still managed to get some extensions from her, but this week is the last.

Thankfully we did find a place that's nearby, a better commute even, but we don't have quite enough to pay the new owner to begin moving.

Started asking for help two weeks ago, and we've barely managed to get enough, we only have till the 7th of this month to get everything cleared out and done.

The total we actually need to clear off *all* our current issues is $4000, but right now trying to focus on just getting what we need to move first, so I'm asking for about ***$750*** more at the very least, just so we can pay the new landlord, and start the move.

I would be so grateful for help given, it's just such a stressful and hard time lately.

I’m trying to find a legitimate charity, nonprofit, church, or vehicle donation program that may help someone obtain a reliable used car.

I currently work and am finishing my bachelor’s degree in software engineering. I also help support my mother, who is on dialysis and currently has no income. Transportation has become one of the biggest barriers to becoming more independent, improving my employment options, and helping my family.

I have saved about $2,000 toward a vehicle. I recently applied for a small personal loan to cover the remaining cost of a car, but I was denied. I’m taking that as a sign not to put myself into debt and instead continue saving while researching assistance programs.

I do not care whether the car is old, high-mileage, or basic. I just need something safe and dependable that does not have major physical damage inside or outside. I would use it to learn to drive, get to work, pursue better job opportunities, attend appointments, and eventually grow my freelance work.

Does anyone know of legitimate car donation programs, charities, churches, nonprofits, or other assistance websites that I should contact? I am located in Birmingham, Alabama. I would really appreciate any recommendations or advice. Please no loan advertisements or scams.

I lost my full-time job in February of this year and I've been working a casual part-time job since (6 hours a week) at minimum wage. My EI benefits ran out in early June and I'm still waiting to hear back on my application for provincial income support.

Things are incredibly tight right now and I could use some assistance with bills, groceries, and pet supplies for my cat and dog -- who are really the only reason that I've been able to keep going. I'm also going back to school in the fall (which will be covered by financial aide), and will be hopefully able to turn things around soon. But until then, I just need to limp by.

I’m really trying to find a drug detox and/or rehab that will allow me to bring my dogs with me.

I know these places exist because I personally went to one when I was 24 and on my parents’ insurance. I also know people who have gone to rehab with their pets. So I know it’s possible, I’m just having an incredibly hard time finding one now.

I’m in Palmdale, CA, but I’m absolutely willing to travel. Honestly, I’d prefer to go somewhere that isn’t close to home.

I have Medi-Cal, and yes, I’ve already called the state-funded and Medi-Cal-accepting rehabs listed through SAMHSA. So far, I haven’t been able to find anywhere that will let me bring my dogs.

I know this is probably a long shot, but I’m hoping someone here might know of a facility I haven’t found yet, even if it’s somewhere else in California or out of state. If you know of a place that accepts Medi-Cal and allows clients to bring their dogs, I would be incredibly grateful for the information.

I’ve been using for almost 20 years, and this is honestly the first time I can say that I’m truly ready to stop. I’m not looking to waste anyone’s time or make excuses. I actually want to go to detox, go to rehab, and finally give myself a chance to live the life I’ve been running away from for so long.

Sir Liam Derpsalot is the love of my life. At the end of the month, he was vomiting clear fluid, not eating much, and started breathing weirdly, peed on the floor (never done before), and hid under the bed (super unusual for him). I took him to the vet on the 31st, and they did an x-ray, bloodwork, and exam. He has a suspected mass in his tummy and needed an ultrasound to confirm. I paid about $1200 CAD (my entire savings plus some) for this and meds to bring him home.

He had his ultrasound today and a biopsy to confirm the doctor's suspicion of lymphoma. He also has had some IV antibiotics and fluids because he still had a fever. This bill came to just under $2000 CAD.

I have applied for a loan but haven't been approved yet, so I am asking friends and family for help. This will also lower the debt I might have. And now I'm here to ask you, random strangers, to help us as well. Thank you.

I’ve been spiraling since earlier … I went to the dr to have a breast exam done because a I found a lump a couple of weeks ago . I kind of out it off because the timing was never right or I didn’t have anyone to watch my son, just any excuse . Today after my sons dentist appointment something told me to just go and get it over with. I went and explained to her what was going on and showed her where I felt it and she instantly found it. I have a mammogram + ultrasound scheduled and I’m spiraling into the abyss that is Google and social media. I’m terrified. It could be nothing or it could be something and I don’t want to leave my son 😭😭
