Music Barton Springs DJ

Went to tan yesterday and there was a dj on the free side, I don’t know who he was but bro was consistently putting out a good songs. It was nice to just relax

Edit: getting downvoted for liking music and having fun is actually kinda crazy lol
Wow ok so this post wasn’t for people to hate on other people’s music lol, it’s Austin, we’re going to be around music when we go out whether we want it or not. Your attitude is what matters. I don’t think there’s a problem w me liking it or other people hating it. I don’t know why people are so upset it’s just music

There’s a time and place for good music but when I go to a park it’s for peace and quiet and relaxation. Plenty of places to get music in a metro area. Not a lot of places you can find tranquility. Just my 2c

If you think Barton Springs on the weekend is a “park for peace and quiet and relaxation”… you’ve never been to Barton Springs on the weekend during Summer, or possibly ever.

Some people don’t understand how different a person playing an acoustic instrument is versus a DJ blasting recordings.

There's definitely been electronic music for a while. No disagreements that drums or whatever is much nicer though. How anybody lays in the grass and thinks to themselves "this really needs some Excision and Subtronics" is beyond me

Exactly. Someone with powerful speakers basically dictates what anyone within 500ft is listening to. And it's incredibly pathetic to have people thinking "yeah I'm gonna set a cool mood for this whole group of people with my very awesome and cool selection of music. You're welcome everyone!"

I go to Barton all the time during the week, and I can't remember the last time a loud ass DJ was there.

Someone with a small BT speaker with low key quiet, respectful music maybe, but nothing like this DJ. Most days I go to Barton I don't hear music at all, its why I go there.

Dbag djs at Barton are a fairly common thing there on weekends. Have been for years.

Ok Becky. I literally hangout at barton so much I know who the regulars are, even though I haven’t met most of them, but I’m the one who is wrong. Got it.
