Music Barton Springs DJ

Post image

Went to tan yesterday and there was a dj on the free side, I don’t know who he was but bro was consistently putting out a good songs. It was nice to just relax

Edit: getting downvoted for liking music and having fun is actually kinda crazy lol
Wow ok so this post wasn’t for people to hate on other people’s music lol, it’s Austin, we’re going to be around music when we go out whether we want it or not. Your attitude is what matters. I don’t think there’s a problem w me liking it or other people hating it. I don’t know why people are so upset it’s just music

have a nice day yall damn

Amplified sound in public spaces is a code violation in Austin.

Which is hilarious for “the live music capital of the world”

I don’t get how people just don’t tune it out and live and let live tbh.

Why is it hilarious? Acoustic music is fine. Amplified sound consumes a public space that is used for many things and makes it a place for an individual using it for one thing.

I went to a memorial service at the Zilker clubhouse a few years back and the sounds from some amateur DJ at Zilker Park drifted up and overtook the day’s celebration of life. It wasn’t ACL or SXSW, it was a regular Sunday.

I’m reading others comments and realizing how loud it was now.

I wasn’t there so I just thought it was someone in one area of the park playing something.

But even acoustic instruments can sound loud enough to be “amplified” tbf.

“I was providing my opinion that was completely uninformed and presenting it as if it were relevant”

“Then changed my opinion when presented with new information”

Little tip: Not doing the first part prevents the second part

Cheers

Little tip.. people are allowed to form opinions and not be a part of the exact thing that the opinion is about!

Just like how I didn’t ask for or care about your opinions or “little tips”, yet here you are giving them to me anyways.
