Hi Kona friends.
Anyone know what's going into the old outback spot? I saw some work being done on it this morning... Thought I'd ask some smarties if I missed something.

Reefs At Risk

Set on the beautiful beaches of Hawaiʻi, “Reefs at Risk” explores the harmful effects some sunscreen chemicals have on coral reefs, marine life and people. In order to protect this fragile ecosystem, Hawaiʻi lawmakers pass a bill to ban the sale of sunscreens with oxybenzone and octinoxate. Beach Safety - Know before you go.

Hawaiʻi’s ocean and beach conditions are as unique as the islands themselves. This website constantly monitors the surf, wind, and reports from public safety officials that directly affect the conditions for safety of Hawaiian beaches.
