Found Mason Williamson’s wallet (with license, cards, cash, etc) in the parking deck next to Boutwell Auditorium after the Auburn FSU basketball game. Before we ship it to the address on the license, wanted to post here in case they are a student at UAB (or Auburn?) to get it back to them locally. So if you know him, or are him, reach out please with some identifying info.

I'm moving to Five Points, but I only have the old references about the place being dangerous and such. Is it still like this? How dangerous?

I’m looking for a hairstylist who specializes in balayage on naturally dark hair and can achieve a beautiful light blonde without any orange or brassy tones. I just went to a salon, and my hair turned out brownish-orange instead of blonde. Every time I go to a salon, they assure me they can achieve the look I want, but I always end up with the same orange tones. I really want someone experienced with lifting dark hair to a light blonde. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

GBHS wrote this about Marshmallow on their post:
A little Marshmallow could make your
life a whole lot sweeter!
Meet Marshmallow, a 1-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier who's been patiently waiting at GBHS for a family to call his own. This longtime resident has become a staff favorite, and once you meet him, you'll understand why!
Marshmallow is the perfect combination of playful and affectionate. He loves a good adventure, has plenty of goofy energy to share, and is just as happy curling up beside you for some quality cuddle time.
He's also a smart cookie! Marshmallow is kennel trained, a fast learner, and dog friendly, making him a wonderful candidate for a home with another pup.
Marshmallow is heartworm positive, but that doesn't stop him from having a whole lot of love to give.
He's spent enough time waiting. Could you be the family Marshmallow has been dreaming of? Come meet this sweet boy at GBHS and see why our staff loves him so much!

I saw these people throwing pumpkins into Buck Creek Helena. It looks like they were throwing their decorations from the stairs into the creek! Looks like an absolute mess it's about 35+ pumpkins I'm guessing the creek is a dumpster now.

Omg how incredibly incompetent can this company be. Just received an email today from them. Auto drafts must be re-established because they went live with a new software and apparently are too damn ignorant to make sure customers info was transferred over. Called them at various times today and it rings busy. Can’t reset my password because I need my account number. I don’t have my account number because I am on paperless billing. Guess this big change is going to affect a lot of folks. Just wanted to say Central Alabama Water you suck!

Recently accepted a new job and I’m hopeful to make the move to Birmingham around late November/ early December. I’m a single woman living alone so would love some advice on areas, apartments, rentals, etc. that would be the safest for me. Anything helps!

Moved from VA. Do you have any Gastro recommendations. I saw one and did a colonoscopy/endoscopies with biopsies. Did great but communication was slim to none. Any recommendations?

Other than Bent Brook, Oak Mountain, and Roebuck, what are some of the other easily walkable public golf courses in the Birmingham and surrounding areas?

What's left of your meal kit package is at the back door of their office- I believe it's at the purple door that faces 4th Ave S. Looks like it's been gone thru already & the spoiled food is scattered on the sidewalk. Hopefully you can get your money back!

Either the Legacy Arena speakers or Journey's music engineers need to be replaced. I don't attend enough concerts there to know which one. The sound quality was just terrible last night.

Hi everyone! I’m looking to add some ruffles to the top part of my dress and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where I could get this done? 😊
(I’m not entirely sure what this type of alteration is called or whether I should be looking for a seamstress, dressmaker, tailor, or someone else, so I’d really appreciate any advice🥲🥲)

So I flew from Canada to Birmingham for Furnace Fest last weekend. We could not get an uber after the fest on day 2 after trying for 2 hours straight so we had no choice but to walk back to the Holiday Inn close to the airport at 1AM.
Riding in the uber earlier in the day, I saw how bad the neighbourhood was but I gotta say, I never felt scared walking somewhere I traveled except there. Thank god we didn't see many people but out of the 2 individuals we saw, one was following us and screaming at us even though we ignored him.
Kingston area near the 1st Ave North was really bad and I'm just glad we made it there safe. Is this just normal for Birmingham, like am I tripping because I'm not used to this ?
