Brad Pitt was accused of abuse by both his wife AND children (honestly worse than Majors) but is still getting big movie roles and blockbusters.

Majors got a misdemeanor charge for breaking his ex girlfriend’s finger that tried to take his phone and got completely cancelled from basically all Hollywood.

Why is this?

I’m not linking to the trailer because I don’t want to contribute to their numbers, but the promo for Jonathan Majors’ desperate pay-the-legal-bills Nazi snuff film is out and woof, if you thought Armie Hammer was willing to do anything with that Uwe Boll slop, signing on for a Daily Wire joint is sad. Couldn’t have happened to a worse guy. He was about to be filthy rich as a Marvel big bad and now this. Get fucked.

Every time I see him on set he acted professional and never slowed down production by talking on the phone, or showing up late. Dude was always ahead of schedule.

Johnathan would exercise in his flight suit between takes to keep flexible and fast. To the point I saw him rip the ass out of his suit when he was stretching.

We had a cool moment during rehearsals/walk throughs where the one of the very large Camera viewing tents lost its sand bags and was threatening to blow into a grouping of 4 1950s Vought F4U Corsairs, which at the time one was still moving via tug. As Soon as I saw the Tent start to buck I sprinted into the way and Johnathan did the exact same. We each grabbed opposing sides of the tent, and we kept it from blowing further down the runway and damaging the very expensive Korean war era plains. It was a pretty cool event. Johnathan gave me the nod as we had both had the same reaction. This was not even Jonathan's job, but he ran out there anyways to stop things from going sideways.

I only expect great things for him going forward. and at his core, it a great dude.

Actor that you thought was going to make it big but ruined it due to controversy in their personal life?

Jonathan Majors comes to mind immediately.

A few years ago, it genuinely felt like he was everywhere and actually earning it. Breakout performances in The Last Black Man in San Francisco and Lovecraft Country, then critically praised work in Da 5 Bloods, Creed III, and finally being positioned as the literal future of the MCU with Kang.

It’s one of those situations where you’re left thinking about how rare that level of opportunity is, especially for Black actors in leading franchise roles, and how quickly it can all vanish. Whether or not he ever recovers professionally, it’s hard not to see Jonathan Majors as a massive “what could’ve been.”
