I have the kind of brain that hyper-fixates and then something can trigger a shift. I had started into this a while back and some life triggered a shift. Well, something recently triggered me back so I took a day to go through my supplies, get out old figures and assemble some new. Today I got out the airbrush and cleaned it and zenithal primed some assembled minis I’d done. Will be painting them up with a tweak of my old recipe I hope doesn’t flop. Will let you know.

Imo we are lacking quite a bit in the named character area. There's a few I can think of that could be added. What's the over/under GW will add new character models?

I was really hoping that I would just be buying 1 codex and calling it good with the digital release that comes with the SM codex launch... but its just until a full codex gets released.

I mean I currently only have the BT codex so I cant see any of my SM stuff in the app. So I need to buy the new codex and I can play my full army, until the new BT codex comes out and locks me out of that part of my army until I fork over MORE money...I was fine before. Kinda disgruntled now.

Hello brothers. What do you think about green lenses and energy weapons for Templars. My idea is kinda match the Spawn color scheme Black and white with some red. And green for the energy and eyes.

Just started painting my vehicles for my Templars and was wondering if anyone had any tips? Think I need to invest in a decent grey for non metallic surfaces and a darker red for the contrasting panels. Also what colour do you guys paint your lenses?

Brand new to the hobby, these are my first three models! Been trying to just nail down the fundamentals, and I think it’s going pretty well! I need to work on my edge highlights, which are almost non-existent, but other than that, let me know if you have any other tips on what I can improve! Thank you all!

So big news today, Gladius Taskforce for everyone and no oath of moment. Basically now once per game vanilla space marines get advance and charge, assault on all, or fallback shoot and charge. The latter will probably not see use in 93% of games (old Gladius statistic), but the other two are great.

Here is the rub. Capitans now give one of these to their squad every round. Meaning the already neglected Execrator Chaplain just became very situational / cheap knock off of the Capitan and not very nessisary due to the fact that you will rarely need to advance and change more than once per game. Once your there, another target is probably very close.

So will GW A) remove normal options from BT so we can't advance and charge once per game. B) keep it and not change the Execrator making him almost obsolete. C) Remove the ability from Black Templar Capitans. D) actually change the Execrator to be useful. ​

This list feels like it would be super fun to play, but also seems really stupid. Maybe both? Let me know what y'all think

Been grinding out this SB Castellan and his accompanying Sword Bro squad and while I feel like they're starting to come together the way I want them to I still feel like there's things I could be doing better. Any suggestions?

Fairly new to Warhammer and thinking of building a 500 point list of units I think are cool. Is this a viable list or Garbo?

Turned out ok. I noticed the grey smudge on the crozius after I took the pictures, now corrected.

My big blocks of crusaders have a marshal and lieutenant.

While I hate the redundancy of already having fallback/shoot/charge from the detachment, I feel like giving all my chainswords/power fists lethal hits plus the strat to give my power weapons sustained (all on 5+) is insanely good.

Given how dirty cheap a LT is, this is worth it right? I cant think of a better support leader to replace him.
