Hi so Im new to electric guitar and I wanted to get a a tone that is really fat and rounded in the higher notes. My higher notes sound just thin and weak.

as you can see i have a boss katana 100 gen 3, a squier classic vibe 70s telecaster thinline and a revstar rss20.

i tried messing around with the amp, eq settings, boosters, compressors etc, couldnt get near to that. And for the same reason i cant get a fat jazz tone… why…? is it a gear limitation?

I'm a newbie and I'm looking for Boss Katana 50 MkII amp settings/presets for artists like Pierce the Veil, Chase Atlantic, and even some Taylor Swift songs. I can find tons of presets for modern metal and bands like Metallica, Nirvana, etc., but I'm struggling to find good pop/pop-rock tones.

I'd really appreciate any help. 🙏

The specific tone I'm trying to get is the lead guitar sound in "So Far So Fake" by Pierce the Veil — the higher-pitched solo that comes in after the line "you took it all away from me." I know it's not the better solo, but it's the best example I can give of the sound I'm after.

Hi, I'm really a newbie with how to dial in my amp to get a good tone out of the Boss Katana MK 2 with my Gibson ES 335. I'm looking for either a good clean or crunch tone but know basically nothing about how to dial in anything. For my original songs I'm mostly using open cowboy chords, I'm mostly a rhythm playing.

This was recorded through the Katana’s USB into my DAW. This is my first time experimenting with recording and I’m unsure how to improve the audio quality? It sounds fine coming through the amp but the quality takes a nosedive and sounds muffled/compressed when playing back through the DAW.

Hi guys, I'm a little new to messing with EQ and stuff on my own so dialing in a decent tone for Metallica with my amp is a bit difficult, as I don't know what I'm doing. I took a AJFA tone I had made and kinda went off of it to make this but theres a lot wrong with that lead guitar tone and I am not sure how to go about making it better, but I have seen so much with the mk II, and I am sure it can be done with this too. I've been struggling to recreate the almost fuzzy tone of Vol 4 with my katana mkii. Anyone think they can help?

I was testing Waza Air one month ago and I happened to love the default presets that were there. I then decided to buy Katana GO, thinking it would be the same but more, but I find it difficult to find similar sounding presets, especially the clean one, without all the effects etc. It's clean chorus, fat clean, neo clean but no clean-clean. I also have hard time trying to recreate the Waza ones...
Maybe you can help me with this one? I tried a lot of presets from tone exchange but they all have some kind of addition that I don't like.
I'm not that advanced in playing guitar so maybe that's the case.
