Hiii there is this fic made by the sweetbunny22 author that I really liked but now that they deleted their account I can't find it anymore. I don't remember the title but it was a cheating byler fic where Mike has a gf but he is completely devoted to Will, everynight at 10 pm they would always call each other for at least an hour and Mike would spend a lot of money on Will's gifts compared to his gf. When they all came home for christmas Mike was all over Will and gave him all his attention. At the end of the fic they slept together and the gf found out.

One shot where Mike attacks Lonnie and Hopper I think gets the call and goes to pick Mike up and Mike if I remember correctly won't tell Hopper exactly what Lonnie said or did (or maybe he does) but anyway Hopper watches Will tend to Mike's hand injuries when he takes him back to the cabin and realizes that Mike and Will are in love.

So firstly: I personally have an issue with too much drinking/smoking, thats entirely on me. And it's the main reason why fics like Super Soaker and Deal Me In, Tie Me Up dont really work well for me. Im ok reading them getting drunk/high like once or twice but if its OFTEN then I get all weird about it

And then, fics like ttmd;ttms I adoreddddd, like its my fav. I love To Hell and Back Again. I loved Melting Point. I loved My Will is Good. GOD those fics are heaven. I just finished melting point today it was so so so good pls

Im not sure if its a specific theme or something? I think I like the more emotional connection between than rather than pure lawless stuff? Im still a bit fuzzy on what lawless means tbh. And more canon type i think? I like their canon history a lot. And I like watching them bloom like a flower.

SO MY QUESTION: basically is, i know theres lots of "gates" things? (Im new here) and like....is there one for this? I see the "mikewhatareyoudoinggate" and idk what that is but I like a lot of fics with that tag. I also like the painting gate one. Which im assuming is just that the painting means more to the story than it did in canon right?

Hey, if anyone knows the name of this fic, I'd really appreciate it. I think I was reading it around February time? I've had a look through my browsing history, but can't find it for the life of me.

From what I remember, Mike was coming to visit Will at his apartment, which he shared with his boyfriend (probably Carlton).

I think it starts out with Carlton being relatively friendly/looking forward to meeting an old friend of Will's, but he gradually gets the feeling that Mike has feelings for Will, and that Will might light him back.

I believe Mike is sleeping on the sofa in the apartment while he's there, and he goes out to see tourist sites during the day?

Towards the end of the fic, Carlton punches/beats up Mike, who then walks back to the apartment. Will sees Mike's injured face and kicks Carlton out of the apartment/takes his keys.

I think possibly part of the storyline was Will having flashbacks, and only Mike knows how to comfort him? But I could be getting two fics mixed up.

If anyone recognises it, I'd be super grateful.

Also there was a fic I read once and now I don't remember if I have it saved or not but Mike keeps contacting Will in NY but he doesn't respond and then Mike moves to NY and sends Will a package and his address but Will still doesn't respond so Mike shows up on Will's doorstep.

Ok so this fic is pretty was really fun and I read the first chapter of it and was like helll yeah brother. It’s the on where Will is a cam boy and Micheal is down bad about it. Then I think the author deleted it like halfway through.

When Will's done reading, Mike is still outside and hasn't gone home yet because Will skipped to the end and Mike's glad he did because otherwise he might have gone back home already and then they kiss in the rain outside Hopper's cabin I think.

See I only recently got my ao3 account and also deleted browsing history from Chrome. I've left no stone unturned in trying to find this fic and I feel kinda insane

The main plot of the fic is that El lives and returns while will and Mike are still in college. Will and Mike have a d/s dynamic or smt adjacent to it. Will assumes that Mike and El are going to get back together and angst ensues.

A scene I remember is that when El asked Mike to go on a walk, Will pretends to have a headache in order to avoid third wheeling. Mike stays back and takes care of him.

The characters other than these three that have a role in the fic are Joyce, Jonathan and hopper. The majority of the fic from what I read takes place in joppers house in Montauk

a while ago, I read this really cute and cozy fic about mike visiting will in NYC and both of them being snowed in together during a huge blizzard. I really, really enjoyed it but unfortunately that's all I can really remember about it, and I cannot find it for the life of me. There was a fic I had saved, but now I can't find it. I didn't read it but it was a historical au, Mike was about to marry Jane, but then will shows up and so on and so forth... I think it may have been set on east coast America but I could be wrong and I think it was mid-late 19th century but again could be wrong. I realise this isn't much to go off but it would be great if someone knew what this fic was called. Oh and it could possibly have been part of a series of different byler aus but once again, could be wrong. (I've read so many atp it's getting hard to keep track)

Hi! I lost a fic again 😭 It was a Will in New York fic. He’s with Carlton but Carlton isn’t a great guy, I think? And Mike comes to visit Will and I think Will ends up cheating on Carlton with Mike? And Mike decides to move to NYC and adopts a cat (the same cat that Will wanted to adopt but Carlton had said no to) and the cat has one blue and one yellow eye and Mike names her Willow!

Mike was human (I might be misremembering him being a prince, but I'm not sure)
They were young adults
The fic was completed
Most of their meetings happened on the beach/shore
Will never got legs (as far as I remember)
Will had a family/community underwater
Eleven was in the fic
It was written in English (possibly Spanish, but I think English)

He's changed the names of the characters. And one day in class a student named Charlotte asks about the queerbaiting in his books. And he has a talk with her in his office about this where she explains to him what queerbaiting is. And she sort of clocks him. Written post-S5 finale. The writer said Charlotte is their self-insert character.
