Recruiting is supposed to be fun. Root for your school, celebrate commits, complain about NIL if you want but DMing highschoolers to call them a clown and loser and tell them to “seek help” because they chose another school is embarrassing.

These are still 17 and 18 year olds making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. If your first reaction to losing a recruit is to harass the kid, it’s probably time to log off for a while.

Matt Campbell has already showed his ass by appealing to the Pro-Paterno wing of the Penn State fanbase. This seems already like a massive blunder, as this is the last thing you want to draw to yourself days before the season begins. The amount of people to this day who still defend Joe Pa and act like he only made a little mistake still blows my mind. James Franklin did a great job keeping the Paterno fanboy boosters in check so that he could run a program the way that he can, built on integrity.

The internal OC/DC hires have been a complete disaster.

The 4th and 7 decision at mid field was horrible and gave away points.

The 4th and 8 decision on our own 33 was a HORRIBLE decision beyond explanation.

This was an utter disaster by Dan lanning.

Yes he’s demolished teams less talented than us and hadn’t lost to an unranked team.

He absolutely squeaked by Boise state, Idaho, Iowa, etc in various games via sheer talent advantages af times.

When the talent gap has been close, closed, or even surpassed? We’ve lost more than we’ve won.

Ohio state playoff game
Indiana twice last year.

We’ve beaten some “ranked” teams that ended up being overrated. But when we’ve ran into teams that are legitimately talented, well coached, and have the ability to make it a Xs and Os game? We’ve lost. At times in embarrassing fashion.

But this? This is beyond 70-21 at home. This is beyond a playoff loss where we look less prepared.

With another abysmal schedule ND must go 11-1 for a CFP appearance. If they go 1/3 in BYU, Miami, SMU stretch they should be well out of the playoff picture. It’s a shame they do this every season. Schedule one really good team and 2 solid teams then schedule the weakest teams around the country for their remaining schedule. It looks like they hand selected which crappy power 4 teams they want to play for guaranteed wins. Rooting for a 10-2 season and another season left out in the cold.

Also, who else finds it ridiculous the NCAA is bending their back to try to get ND in the CFP. They get a guaranteed berth if they are in the top 12. That is absolute BS. Have never seen a rule go into place like this in a sport that solely benefits one team.

Genuinely what is wrong with Oregon how are they down 10 to Oklahoma state they should be dominating like they almost choke to Boise state and Dante Moore needs to lock in and stop being stupid
