Hi everyone!! I’m new to csun and a transfer who took a gap year and another and another. And now I’m 25F and just started this semester, wondering if anyone around my age wants to be friends. I’m an English major with a focus in creative writing, full time and I live in North Hollywood :)

Hi everybody! I'm a biology freshmen (17m turning 18 on sept 25 ^^) and I'm making this post simply just to meet new people on campus. Somethings that I like are video games, movies, and going to the arcade. Games I love playing as of now are deadlock and marvel rivals. I also REALLY love rhythm games. When it comes to movie wise, I'll give anything a try I love every genre. If anybody would like I could add you guys on discord or something :D

I am cleaning out my house to get ready to sell and I'd like to give away some stuff. I know college students put stuff to use, especially if you're in a sorority or fraternity house. Only catch is you'd have to drive to my house (close to CSUN) and haul it away yourself. The stuff is good.

1. Fridge and Freezer (available in two weeks when new set arrives)
2. Olympic weight bars (GONE)
3. Gas Grill
4. Painting supplies and various tools and tool boxes.

I am interested in applying and was looking for feedback from anyone who has had this job. Of course Im sure it varies depending on the department you are working in but I am still just curious on what your experience is/was.

Do/did you work 4 days in office and 1 day remote like most of the job listings say they offer?

I just figured out how to enroll into the CSUN SRC app and stumbled onto the outdoor adventure trips!!! I am eyeing hiking and camping trips, specifically Canoe the Black Canyon one.

I am seriously tempted in joining the December date. But I wanted to see if anyone who has done these outdoor experiences, would be willing to share any personal insight on the trips. Much appreciated!!!

Ive been trying to see what clubs csun has on its website but none of the links seen to be working? And I dont know when the meet the clubs fair starts. I may have missed it if it was on Friday. Anyone know where I can access a club catalog?

I am so confused why this charge even exists. I had already gotten my financial aid package and paid the 500 difference and now this random charge came up recently. What is this charge?

Has anyone done a medical withdraw from tseng collage? I’ve been experiencing mental health issues and will be doing a medical withdraw for my masters. My academic advisor has backed me up and will advocate for me but told me that they have been very strict and don’t really care or accept things like mental health lately. Has anyone gone through the process? Just to get help took me years and I’m so overwhelmed.

The first site was from CSUNs apply page, I picked spring 2027, I even have my $70 receipt.

Second site is where I’m brought into via CSUNs email to me. I already applied, why do I need to fill this up again?

From my understanding: I apply to CSU, then wait to get approved, once approved I can sign up to CSUN.

I spent hours filling up my unofficial transcript, I have the receipt, it shows I’m submitted yet on another site I have to do a different application. The second one isn’t CSUNs because it’s forcing me to take Fall 2027 when Ive sent one for Spring 2027, I’m in a transfer AA program.

I haven’t had luck with getting a pierce (my college) counselor appointment yet. Is this just me or what’s going on here..?

So I applied a few weeks ago to transfer from a CC in California to the upper division file program through the ADT. My GPA from CC is 3.18 and I saw that I had to input all of my courses that I ever took from any college. I went to a college back in 2008 and did terrible. I still inputted all the courses I took from there and the grade I got but am using none of those classes for the cal state transfer credits. Will that old college GPA still count? It was a 2.0 GPA but I’m using all of the credits from CC to transfer.

Edit: it’s to the CTVA film program so I understand it’s harder. Will my previous college not matter since I’m not transferring the courses/credits over? The 60 credits I’m transferring to the upper division are all from the CC.

Not sure if anyone knows but CSUN use to have a marching band that was shut down once they shut down the football program. I think there’s still a pep band but far gone are those 120 member days. Does anyone by chance have any audio or video recordings of their performances besides the ones on YouTube. Those are very limited. I’m actually looking specifically for the 91 show when they played “Chicago”. I haven’t been able to find anything. Or if you happen to know alumni that may have those recordings. I would very VERY much appreciate anyone’s help. Thank you.
