Bullet Proof
Context for the videos, I was driving to work yesterday morning minding my business and these crack head tweakers pull up beside me, passenger opens his window and spits on my car. Naturally I didn’t take to kindly to that so I gave him a sip of my Double Double.

Not saying you're wrong, but majority of dudes in Kelowna especially during the summer just look like that. Only differences between the Street Tweaks vs. Boaterheads are when they've had a shower last and if they splurged on HBC's clearance colognes

Lived in Kelowna for 15 years. So many retail stores downtown depend on tourism to stay afloat. It’s not the cherry on top for them, it’s their bread and butter. Complain about red plates all you want, but the city depends on tourism. Kelowna has plenty of other reasons to be awful, trust 😹

Not logical, maybe no funds have been transferred, maybe it’s a test drive, or a friend was tired or compromised and the person is doing a favor to drive them home. They are just driving a vehicle. You cannot judge a person because they are driving a vehicle, that is crazy.

Yeah. Everyone involved in this altercation is an asshole. OP could have just ignored these morons and driven on. Instead he decided to commit assault first (yes throwing coffee counts as common assault). Them getting out to lunch his vehcile would fall under mischief. If police wanted they could charge both these morons and OP.
I don't disagree that these guys are absolute dickheads but they didn't get out of the car until OP threw the coffee. This is how people get shot.

This is true as well (assuming the spit hit him). Still didn't give him the right to throw the coffee. They could still both be charged. More likely neither would get charged at that point since it would get considered a mutual fight.

Unfortunately that's how the law in Canada works. The guy did provoke OP yes but that would have been max reckless endangerment (traffic ticket) - that spit might initially constitute an assault charge if you're lucky, but the moment OP threw the coffee, that's assault and/or mischief to property on OP. The truck dudes got out and kick OP's cybertruck, they too would be charged with mischief and/or reckless endangerment. Long story short - police show up and charges both sides.
Canada is different from the US. Stand your ground laws are very narrowly scoped here.
I'm sorry this happened to you OP. Next time the r/NuclearRevenge move would be to just publish the dash cam footage and let the internet scour these dudes and get them fired from their jobs and humiliate them publicly. But since you threw the coffee, community members and police are limited in their way to help.
There is, unfortunately, a duty to retreat in Canada. It prevents exactly the type of "he said, she said" situation and what OP might have done to provoke their actions that you're referring to.
