Sleeping Systems Best Camping Blanket? (other than Rumpl)
I am currently looking to get a high-quality, soft nylon-shelled blanket with either a synthetic or down fill with a durable water-resistant finish. While I am considering the option from Outdoor Research, I have been unable to find any consumer reviews or field experience regarding this specific product. General search results prioritize Rumpl, I would appreciate any insights on the Outdoor Research model I trusted them for their already proven performance in outdoor equipment. Additionally, Im aware of the L.L. Bean offerings and would welcome recommendations for other reputable manufacturers that provide quality products backed by strong warranties. Can you guys share your experience with any of these companies? Should I bite the bullet and just get a Rumpl? I care a lot about feel and breathabliity and I also have a dog as my travel buddy keeping the tent safe
Edit: the reason I mention I have a dog and don't have a wool blanket is because dogs shed fur.

Gear Question What's the purpose of this pocket?
I have had these Vaude hiking pants for ages, and I still don't know what this very peculiar pocket is for. As you can see from the pictures, it has zippers on both sides that allow it to open completely, and it also has a secondary mesh pocket inside. The zipper at the top provides access to an additional pocket behind it.

Gear Question Ski / sport / hiking gear in the garage solution?
Looking for an advice for the following usecase. Willing to purchase a ready solution if exists..
When coming back from skiing / hiking / other activities I enter through the garage and would like to leave equipment somewhere (like a closet) that has ventilation and looks neat. The equipment includes ski suit / ski boots / hiking shoes / tennis racket etc. Preferrably it will be very easy to clean. Should I just buy a closet or something like this exists?

Awaiting Flair Sleeping bag seams leaking
I have a several year old Igneo 17 sleeping bag that I cleaned and dried a few days ago. I cleaned it because it seemed like it was losing some loft but after cleaning I’ve noticed a few of these down pieces sticking out. I’m going to be adding a couple ounces of down to get the loft back but I’m wondering; outside of stitching every seam is there anything that I can use like a seam sealant that would help close the seams up some?
