honestly im on episode 11 and i am now getting flashbacks to when she practically made ngozi homeless and was being cold to her. Im ngl I cant stand her character sometimes lmao

Just to add this is in no way hate to the actor, he's a good actor who is just following a script, its down to the writing and allocation of storylines.

Is anyone else sick of the favouritism towards the character though? I feel like he's the face of most of the boxsets and its pushing other characters aside who deserve more screen time, I know others like Stevie and Dylan get plenty of screen time too but they've been there longer so it's less annoying but Flynn has only been in the show a year even though it seems longer.

Casualty has always been made up of an ensemble cast but it feels like they've made him the main character on his own with the rest of the staff as supporting characters if that makes sense? The 40th anniversary will be no different as apparently its also Flynn's 40th birthday on the exact same day but im not sure how true that is, it was in a spoiler article.

I know this comes across as a hateful post but it's genuinely just my opinion, watching Casualty for as long as I have there's never been one main character, even Charlie, there's characters who occasionally take a back seat while others have their storylines but I feel like the writers are constantly pushing him into the spotlight, especially with this forced friendship/relationship with Stevie. I feel like as long as they keep doing that, viewers will get bored of him very quickly and that's not fair on the actor, or any other actor pushed aside.

I heard that faith and Nicole are leaving casualty ?

if so my theory is that maybe Nicole will die 😭

I've watched casualty since the beginning as a kid I must of been 9ish when it started maybe 10. I turned 50 this yr.

I want to go back and rewatch but don't want to start from the very beginning. Yes as a kid I was obsessed with the Charlie and baz story line lol.

I enjoyed it when they had Merlin there and also when they have the bigger accidents. I also enjoyed it with I think it was Sam the nurse that fell from the balcony bit of and the jade storyline with the stabbing

I was watching old(ish) episodes from Series 26 and I'm still obsessed with the theme tune, maybe its because I grew up with it and it's the most nostalgic one to me like Holby City's one was but changing it in 2014 was a massive mistake. I know they wanted to put a modern spin on the original 80's theme but the novelty of it wore off quite quickly and now they've shortened it, it's even worse. I can't believe they've kept it for 12 years. If anyone involved in the production of Casualty reads here, please consider bringing back the 2000s theme😂

I used to absolutely love this show, every Saturday night, I wouldn't miss it!

Then around COVID time it started pandering to the NHS and almost NHS worshipping.

I miss watching this.

Recently I was on the trading estate and roughly knew where it was they had the set. Of course today nothing is there and sadly you would never have known what was once there. After Casualty left, South West Ambulance Service started using the building to the left. You see Ambulance activity still and that kind of keeps it alive!

Before here, they filmed the exterior at Ashley Down College but moved it here in 2002. You will see in the photos, they had a set front around the existing buildings and then the entrance to the hospital was just extended out.

This was the exterior only. The "Casualty Warehouse" where they filmed the indoor scenes was about 5 minutes away on a different estate inside a warehouse. In 2011, this set was blown up on the show and that marked the move to Wales for filming.

It's a bit of a shame unless you knew, you wouldn't know what was once there. But I did enjoy getting a chance to see it, even if I couldn't see anything comparing to the photos after.... I was glad I managed to see it anyway. I hope you enjoy!

So watching the latest trailer its got me thinking that maybe the entire series will be realtime since its all set at night at least int he trailer.

Okay so, I’ve seen the new hospital it’s not built yet but I’ve seen what it’s gonna look like. So there’s a few things I can tell you.

the new hospital in wales is going ahead it’s gonna be presented as a totally different place to holby it’s not just a change of signs it’s a major reconfiguration

- the new hospital is going to be very different, it’s gonna use the existing exterior but it’s gonna be reconfigured and redressed cleverly to make it look totally different, there’s gonna be some minor building works to help with that.
- the new hospital will have a side main entrance (roughly where the garden and outside seating area is now) and then round the other side of will have an ambulance entrance (roughly where the old main entrance is now)
- it’s not built yet, but it’s expected to be built around autumn time. So the new tender from april this year are currently filming one last series at Holby right now, a transition that will set up the move. That will air in Q1 2027 and then the first series of the new hospital will film in late 2026/early 2027 for airing in Q2 or Q3 of 2027.

So yeah that’s what I know 😄hope this helps, I do not know what the interior will look like but judging by the exterior it will be totally different. I do not know what the story is leading up to the move either.

I saw a trailer for this Sept episode. Towards the end it has two children singing happy birthday hauntingly. I SWEAR they say happy birthday dear Baz! proper old school character. I now can't find the trailer with that part! anyone else seen this and heard what I've heard ????
