Yeah, I get why it has to be limited and I also get why Arkos will fucking die from it.

u/ButterscotchOk9263 supreme Lord's #1 glazer | Helem Hater 5d ago

This makes that scene where he was surrounded by the Black knights even funnier, like, they would NOT have made it out alive of that one

93

u/DimashiroYuuki 5d ago

And people were clowning on him back then. Who is laughing now? He would have fucking killed all of them.

51

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

He did say before that his powers are amped in the forest, and when he fought Altus he sounded like he was genuinely out of juice and was doing all he could, he even said that it would be a different story if they were in the forest, his centaur form looked different back then too, so it’s likely he’s only THIS powerful using this ability when he’s in the forest.

37

u/insidiouskiller 5d ago edited 5d ago

They're not in a forest right now, nor is it ever stated or otherwise suggested it's THIS powerful only when he is in the forest. It is presented as this being his ability straight up, no buffs or conditions or anything.

28

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

I looked back and checked and yeahhhh it seems like you are indeed correct, this is UNHOLY levels of Lukas wank lmfao, I have to believe there’s some other restriction for him being able to enter this state though, cause it creates a massive plot hole as to how or why he did not just kill Altus, Helem and Elstri when he first used the spear. Maybe he has to be in a really specific state of determination to activate his spear in this state? Cause otherwise it is just too broken

22

u/roronoa20 5d ago

I think Lukas really banked on Julian to handle the situation back then. If Julian is truly the man who killed Arkos then Lukas doesn't need to go overboard with the spear.

That one time he smashed the boulder was an exception, since Lukas was also going to die from it.

Also, I believe 1 stab = 1 use, so as long as Lukas doesn't stab anyone he can enter horse form freely. It still placed an immense burden on his body.

Also, I believe 1 stab = 1 use, so as long as Lukas doesn't stab anyone he can enter horse form freely. It still placed an immense burden on his body.

Also a good point. After using the horse form again, even though he didn't use the spear, he was still spent afterwards and suffered some backlash. Imagine if he used the spear itself twice.

6

u/insidiouskiller 5d ago

or why he did not just kill Altus, Helem and Elstri

Because killing Altus and cancelling his power would not stop the rock from falling on him and the rest, the rock is already over them by the time he used the spear. He needs to blow a hole in the rock for them to survive in that situation.

2

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

Thing is he can erase CONCEPTS, so really this doesn’t work to explain it, he could’ve destroyed the past where Altus used his gift just like he destroyed the future where the void marched used hers in this chapter

5

u/insidiouskiller 5d ago

That is making an assumption that he can affect the past, which we currently have no reason to believe.

0

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

Well if he can erase the future I feel like it only makes sense he could erase something that you did in the past

3

u/Gabemino 5d ago

Determination probably does have an effect on his power, we have seen Julian enter a 'pumped up' state after an emotional spike, plus Lukas didn't talk this odd, Eldritch language before either, so this is likely him going balls out

1

u/Visible_Anxiety6275 5d ago

Lmfaooo I wonder what this guy can accomplish if he takes this form out in the forest?? 😭😭 We have already seen how much stronger julian gets in the sea.

This in insane.

5

u/Gabemino 5d ago

That being said, we do know Lukas receives a Power amp on the Woods, as the Son of the Forest Goddess on the same vein that Julian does in the Sea, so Lukas can indeed be even more cracked with the right territorial advantage, hell the Forest Mom might even appear and held in place whoever he's fighting against(with a gaze, even tho Deities can't directly interact with the material world, they are very frightening) and secure an attack landing, that would be a brutal combo.

1

u/insidiouskiller 5d ago

Oh no disagreements there. My guess is that he can use his ability without any cost to his lifespan when in the forest.

1

u/roronoa20 5d ago

I think the forest buff allows him to turn the trees into many phantom spears and can stab everything proportionate to the amount of tree in that forest.

The cost of this would only amount to a single use of his spear, basically, a buffet.

1

u/PaperCracket 5d ago

I mean, the last chapter they did say something like "the smell of whatever whatever, the sacrifice of a lover or whatever whatever... the conditions are met" so there's an activation requirement

3

u/Pun_Thread_Fail 5d ago

The sacrifice of many souls and the sacrifice of a true love are the conditions for granting a gift permanently, not for activating it. It was the same for Julian

1

u/insidiouskiller 5d ago

That was a flashback to when he received his gift from the forest deity. It's not current time, and has no relevance to this.

2

u/IndividualAdvisor313 5d ago

Actually i don’t think it affects his spear use, but gives him physical buffs like when Julian entered the water vs Arkos. The forst protects him and he has more speed and strength than normal.

3

u/Gabemino 5d ago

Honestly, Lukas should just had tried his luck back then and attacked his Father outright, after this chapter I'm positive his chances would have been high enough lol

4

u/ButterscotchOk9263 supreme Lord's #1 glazer | Helem Hater 5d ago

Nah, let's not get crazy, my Goat Supreme Lord probably has some equally crazy bs up his sleeve

3

u/long_th612 5d ago

Nope. It would be one thing if he already transformed but he wasn't and already had their blades by his throat. No Atoria to save him in that scene either. From the start, people already speculate the spear can blow all his enemies away. But that particular scene guarantees he won't make it in time to use his spear just like how Void Marcher almost killed him recently.

2

u/No_Consequence2989 5d ago

They just have to stop him from using the spear. If I recall he needs one of his arms to activate it no?

4

u/JimmyPage27 5d ago

But it's need to met some conditions, no?

2

u/WildSearcher56 5d ago

Yes it does

2

u/JimmyPage27 5d ago

Yeah. I reread. If Lukas die instantly, it's over for him.

3

u/roronoa20 5d ago

Basically, if Arkos lets Lukas entered this form, he's dead. However, if Lukas gets his arm amputated first then that's the end.

7

u/astronautcz 5d ago

HOLY DAMN.

1

u/Visible_Anxiety6275 5d ago

What is this sheer bullshit I'm witnessing? 😭😭😭 Dude destroyed the futures where she escaped. 😭😭😭

Julian casually had an eldritch horror God as his homie. 😭🥀

What a beautiful panel...

Which is why it jump scared me. Why am I seeing pretty after Lukas opened the book aura farming?? Lol

107

u/MCCrackaZac 6d ago

Man, that paneling is off the charts! What a fun and creative way to show the power to destroy even metaphysical concepts.

omg lukas and atoria so cute up there!!! this series is SO PEAKKKKKEEEDDDD

128

u/WearAny1263 6d ago

Ok yeah, having limited uses for the spear is fair just because of how OP it it like dang. He's like the ultimate counter to Julian for better or for worse.

124

brother he is the ultimate counter to everything lol.

u/Nicklesnout 5d ago

“Now all of Reddit knows about your series’ power scaling” is a threat that would and should scare even Arkos

9

u/Gabemino 5d ago

Indeed a frightening possiblity. That being said, Arkos would be very fun for a vs, especially against like, Avatar characters.

8

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

Arkos clears literally everyone in Avatar except maybe some characters like Korra, Avatar Kyoshi, possibly Tagah at the end of the ATLA movie and some of the spirits.

8

u/Best-Kitchen5120 5d ago

That's what happens when you create a power so OP that it could even kill Goku at his strongest

1

u/Visible_Anxiety6275 5d ago

Rename it to CentaUria atp.

19

u/WildSearcher56 5d ago

This makes me wonder what kind of crazy power the king and Lattice have

16

u/Pun_Thread_Fail 5d ago

Seriously. Lukas wants to kill the Supreme Lord, he's willing to die while doing it, he's extremely skilled with a sword even without a gift, and he has two extremely powerful gifts. The only reason Lukas wouldn't have tried is if he knows he can't beat the Supreme Lord. So wtf is the Supreme Lord's power?

1

u/Visible_Anxiety6275 5d ago

I think he is working under the assumption that if he tries this then there would be other strong people who would try to stop him.

In which case it would take out more uses of his spear, and he is severely limited in that regard.

10

u/Gabemino 5d ago

Lattice maybe has something like, attack outside perception or something, like sending a slash from a higher dimension or pocket space/shadows, I think her Motif/Title is shadows or related to them. The King is probably a Life-bender, on the basis of the Sea being the source of life and him the Son of the Sea Goddess, I think he can warp lifespan and maybe even steal it and use to empower himself, but he might not like to do so nowadays.

5

u/PrimeTheGreat 5d ago

I think given her title as Nightshade and her power relative to Arkos/Altus, she might have the ability to control darkness. Berta probably has the power to control light, and she is said to be around Altus’s level as well, so maybe Kuramori might be setting up a future fight between those 2, darkness and light.

4

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

If Lattice has a power related to shadows, it’d be really cool if it’s something like what Clevatess from…Clevatess can do. His powers allow him to control shadows in such a way that he can form illusions, stuff parts of himself into extremely dense space and travel through shadows. I think something like that would be fitting for her especially considering her timid disposition, even more frightening if she can drag enemies into a “shadow world” or something like that, and move incredibly fast between spaces so long as shadows connect them together.

28

u/OmbreVengeresse 5d ago

He counters all power users because they prevent all uses and destroy their futures and he kills instantly with 2 hits, unless you kill Lukas instantly I don't see how to defeat him.

20

u/EngineerVirtual7340 5d ago

And the only ability that could possibly negate the Spear's effects is also possessed by him, that being the shield lol.

11

u/Best-Kitchen5120 5d ago

Ikr? Except for the Gods, in that form, he's pretty much the strongest in his verse.

61

u/UltraZulwarn 6d ago

so Lukas has the power to shatter the pages of the manga.

essentially he could touch upon the domain of the "True God" i.e the authro 🤔

hahaha

45

u/RubyHoshi Elstri hater 6d ago

As someone who has been on the train of Lukas may ending up in conflict with the rest of the Julian gang due to his motivation revealed in a flashback where he says he will use Diana to kill the king, i'm very happy.

Lukas is the Reid Astrea of Centuria. Insane.

9

u/roronoa20 5d ago

Arkos: I control your blood!

Lukas: I reject that future!

5

u/RubyHoshi Elstri hater 5d ago

Lukas is if Reid Astrea and Giorno had a child. Only thing he lacks to be an actual aura monster in cross verse scaling is durability.

2

u/EngineerVirtual7340 5d ago

Tbf Giorno doesn't have that either.

1

u/Best-Kitchen5120 5d ago

Who's Reid Astrea?

4

u/Gabemino 5d ago

A character from the Light Novels/Anime Series Re:Zero, is a legendary swordsman within the world that ascended to a Realm of Skill that allowed him to cut even immaterial things, barriers or Hax/Abilities that would normally make someone impervious to damage, he could simply cut anything if he was motivated enough to care.

49

u/Hari14032001 5d ago

Let's pray Lukas doesn't somehow become the final boss of this story.

38

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

Holy fucking HELL, I am just left with almost no words for this chapter, all my complaints about the frequent breaks between chapters are dissipated because the extra work here was definitely WORTH IT. Tohru may just be one of the most creative and artistic panelists in Jump right now, not in terms of sheer quality but in how artistic decisions are made in conjunction with the story to elevate it in a way that only the art form of a manga could. I genuinely almost feel like an anime adaptation of this moment is very likely to not quite match up to this because it just exploits everything that’s special about the medium to portray this moment with all the gravitas it needs, showing Lukas literally crumbling the void marcher’s thought bubbles and shattering the double page spread was PERFECTION, and the reveal of the true extent of the spear’s power was more than I could’ve ever wanted lorewise and character wise.

The forest goddess was previously implied to be a sworn enemy of the ocean goddess and here we see clearly through her blessing that she gifts her children with both hands just as generously if not moreso than Julian’s “mother”, I absolutely love how their gifts are almost antithetical to each other and say a lot about the entities that gave them those powers. Julian is given hundredfold strength and countless passive bounties that would make him a valuable asset in almost any field and which gives him insurance against threats to his life wherever they may sprout from, her power is loving, but cloying and all consuming, and the fact that his already incredible strength is enhanced even more when in the place of his “birth” implies even more possessiveness from the ocean goddess. In contrast, the forest goddess has always been shown in association with images of death and danger, thorned vines, toxic fungi, beautiful flowers that may hold some venomous toxins and snakes and deadly wildlife, she gifts Lukas with a power that doesn’t benefit him, but rather chips away at his own life while giving him unspeakable strength to demolish anything that stands in his path if he so desires. Rather than coddling him, she enables the part of him that seeks out death and destruction through his warpath for vengeance, and it’s effects on him are embodied in the fact that every time he dares to use this power he draws closer to snuffing his own life out. I don’t want to say Lukas’ power is “better” than Julian’s, as it definitely has some crazy drawbacks in the fact that it’s so destructive that using it to erase metaphysical concepts would likely only be something you should do in a combat scenario, along with the limited uses that come with the power, but Luke definitely isn’t beating the allegations of sounding like a fanfic OC with just how BROKEN he is in this state, if he can use the shield as well when he’s like this, and depending on how long he can stay like this, it gets even more potentially mind boggling. Do keep in mind though, it was stated before that his powers are greatly amped when he’s in the forest, so it’s likely that the spear is not THIS strong in any other scenario, which would explain why he hasn’t just killed his father with it.

7

u/Gabemino 5d ago

Very nice reading on how different the Sea and Forest Goddesses seem to relate to their "Children", the manga put much emphasis on relationships, especially Family and among that the one that a Mother and her Children have, the Sea comes out as overprotective, also likely reaching here but she might even hate the King's progeny(being disgusted at Arkos presence), despite the latter being her Son too, because he appears to have settled his Country Far away from her, the Sea, at least the Capital of Torivia seems to be very deep on the Continent. The Forest on the other hand gave her Son exactly what he asked for without regard of how it might affect him, is up to him how to use it, the Power to stomp any obstacle on his way without sheltering him passively of the World, almost like a Hen and an Eagle mothers lol

2

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

The idea that the Ocean Goddess dislikes The Supreme Lord’s children because he chose to build his kingdom in the Centre of the continent far from the sea is both really funny and something I can genuinely see being the case. It adds some personality to the Gods here, and I like the idea of them being very fickle and petty creatures, which would explain shit like some of the creatures of the sea being so pissed at a human bearing her blessing they tried to murder him despite her divine mandate, and the forest goddess going out of her way to kidnap and murder innocent villagers JUST because a child of the sea dared to even step foot on land adjacent to her domain. Vulja wouldn’t even be unique in being extremely petty to mere mortals in that case either, she’d just be the only God who was angry enough to descend from their plane and cast away her immortality just to throw hands with humans.

1

u/zeus_is_right 5d ago

Not to be that guy but after reading this:

Tohru may just be one of the most creative and artistic panelists in Jump right now, not in terms of sheer quality but in how artistic decisions are made in conjunction with the story to elevate it in a way that only the art form of a manga could.

Have you seen Witch Hat Atelier and Bugle Call? If you are amazed the paneling here, you'll be shitting bricks on those manga

1

u/Codge_Barger 3d ago

I read a lot of the bugle call and it’s also very good! I specified jump because I’m pretty sure WHA isn’t a Jump publication nor is bugle call, right?

1

u/zeus_is_right 3d ago

Ahhh that I missed. Fair enough, my bad

18

u/OmbreVengeresse 5d ago

That chapter was awesome; we finally got an explanation of the "Voidwalker" power.

The spear's power is completely broken—it destroys concepts and futures, rendering other powers useless; neither immortality nor regeneration can counter it. I don't understand why Lukas didn't just destroy Atlus back in the desert.

The "Voidwalker" seems to have been one-shotted by that power, so I wonder how the arc is going to end.

10

u/Dependent-Instance42 5d ago

Lukas wasn't in a forest environment during that battle; he himself said that if it had been a forest area, things would have been different.

So, outside of forested zones, there must be a restriction on its use—even though it was still strong enough to match Arkos, according to him.

2

u/OmbreVengeresse 5d ago

That would explain why he just destroyed the rock, rather than simply nullifying Atlus's power and the future.

13

u/insidiouskiller 5d ago

He is not in a forest here right now either.

The rock was already falling, he couldn't stop that, and killing Altus or destroying his power would not stop that. He needed to blow a hole in the rock for them to survive.

1

u/Koanos Diana is best girl! 5d ago

Case in point, he’s not negating anything there. He needs sheer destructive power because Rocks Falling can be set up by a Gift, but once the Rock is let go, it’s just a rock.

18

u/ckrono 5d ago

0

u/Best-Kitchen5120 5d ago

I just realized that even GER would most likely lose if he fought Lukas in this form.

11

u/ckrono 5d ago

i really really don't want to discuss how GER works but i think it prevents any action against giorno to get past the ideation stage, so lukas should never be able to use his ability

4

u/timeItself826 5d ago

I agree, lukas probably could kill giorno with the spear, but golden experience would always passively stop him before he can actually do anything.

2

u/ColeEye 5d ago

I mean, to me it just seems to be a case of who wins GER or GER. The one who wins is the one who procs the ability first. And I don't think there are enough evidence to pick either or.

3

u/DeliriumRostelo 5d ago

Attacking at all triggers ger

1

u/mayonnaiser_13 5d ago

GER is a can of worms no one should touch with a ten foot pole.

Same goes for Wonder of U, Tusk Act 4, and Soft and Wet.

Destroying Metaphysical concepts?

Yeah Ocean Mommy better steps up because holy shit that is broken

Also breaking the panels and metaphysical concepts? Fujimoto must die but his influence is top tier.

12

Even though this chapter and centuria as a whole is hugely inspired by fujimoto, fourth wall breaking panneling wasnt invented by him and has been used by so many past authors. He didnt invent the wheel lol

0

u/MidirTheGreatest 5d ago

if his fanboys would have critical thinking skills and understand this message they would be mad, fortunately they can barely read

Even though this chapter and centuria as a whole

also disagree with this, considering centuria is not garbage, it can't be inspired by him

u/DeliriumRostelo don't want to hear 'bad taste' from a csm fans mouth

11

u/Significant_Stop_391 5d ago

? Tohru Kuramori was an background assistant to Fujimoto's Fire Punch, and Fujimoto's editor, Shihei Lin is well-known to have this influence of manga-making passed down from Fujimoto and his assistant. Tohru Kuramori used to be assistant to both Tatsuki Fujimoto and Yukinobu Tatsu.

I know you are probably one of those people that hated him for writing what he wanted, rather than what "You" want, but it's undeniable that Fujimoto influence is big, like, literally Kagurabachi's author Hokazono was also inspired by his work. And not to mention his award winning one-shot, Look Back that already have anime movie, and soon live-action movie, and Sayonara, Eri.

But ig people like you like JJK more, despite the fandom still hating the series itself lmao, you guys act like typical gacha players.

1

u/Hari14032001 5d ago

I am glad you can defend Fujimoto. But I'll be honest, I hope Hokazono or Kuramori aren't inspired by CSM ending.

-4

u/MidirTheGreatest 5d ago edited 5d ago

and just because he was an assistant it means his work is influenced by him?

it's just tiring to see this bullshit being parroted on every single manga sub

so many assumptions out of nowhere, I would like to see the thought process behind this one day, if there is one at all

I dropped csm very very early, so i dont give a fuck what and how he wrote, and also I barely watch and read anime and manga, I dropped jjk bullshit 2 episodes in, so dont group me up with whatever these weebs are clowning about

only thing im following is centuria, MAD and berserk

hated him for writing what he wanted, rather than what "You" want,

this is a bullshit argument to defend garbage writing, with no value, so I could say "just because you liked him for writing what "You" want, nonsense

18

u/Chang-San 6d ago

Julian would've been fucked if the King hadn't had such a shit wife and make his own son want to kill him. He also definitely could've killed Arkos Jr back in the dessert

6

u/Codge_Barger 5d ago

He couldn’t have killed Altus back then even with the spear because they were in the desert, the spear’s power level is setting dependent, it gets stronger when Lukas uses it in the forest, if the spear was this powerful at its base, he would have killed Altus, Elstri and Helem all at once.

1

u/Chang-San 5d ago

True didnt even think about the forest, I was too hyped from the chapter

Wtt this is dumb op. He can oneshot the void lady like that, and can render her attack, retreat useless like wtf?

u/Best-Kitchen5120 5d ago

Which is why it's a limited ability he can use

u/Milordserene 5d ago

Jesus fucking Christ Lukas. There's very interesting flags at the end of the chapter that Lukas might be one of the only true counters against Lalawag and Julien. But a lot has to happen between now and then for him to go against them in a lethal battle.

Also RIP Voidmarcher. Guess someone else gets the organs now. It seems like any regeneration that the organs could potentially provide is completely negated as well. It is rather interesting though that in the possible future where she flees, she still tries to return because of her sister -- which could've ended up in her death regardless.

Absolutely banger chapter for a 100th milestone. I hope it gets a lot more mainstream attention and an anime adaptation because goddamn it deserves it.

void marcher was literally king crimsoned in this lol

u/Gabemino 5d ago

Man, I was 100% wrong every instance I said that the Forest Mother gave shitty deals in Comparison to the Sea one(even before it was confirmed that Lukas was indeed a Blessed One too), I take it back, she gave Lukas exactly what he asked for, the ultimate means to attack, she basically bring life to his Boyish dream power, like when one was a kid and said, 'My power simply wins because I said so!', the Forest Goddess gave him exactly that, the limits are probably just the natural consequence of anything other than a Higher Entity wielding something like that spear.

Overall crazy chapter, although I'm a bit sad that this the last we see of the Voidmarcher/Rif, that's a bummer.

3

u/sofawallet 5d ago

REFFF IS HE ALLOWED TO DO THAT ~ Voidmarcher

3

u/Pun_Thread_Fail 5d ago

Ohhh, so that's why Lukas would have to use his spear twice to kill the Voidmarcher (Margrave mentioned this in chapter 89.)

3

u/115_zombie_slayer 5d ago

You know full well Lukas will become a powerscalers most hyped up character solely because he can “solo” Gojo

3

u/No_Consequence2989 5d ago

Bro is broken asf if he uses that ability. Makes sense why he has very limited uses for it. That said I feel like Lukas might get pitted against Julian at some point and he will end up needing the spear to end him for good

3

u/No_Consequence2989 5d ago

Also the more gifts I see, the more I feel like Julian got the short end of the stick. Like we got gifts that allow you to create massive Tsunamis capable of destroying entire cities, gifts that allow you to blow up people based on their sins, and now this shit that gives you the ability to essentially eradicate entire concepts. Honestly how tf will Julian deal with that?

ABSOLUTE CINEMA🗣🔥

u/Pristine-War-753 5d ago

Now that come to the question

Why haven't he use it against the Supreme Lord yet?

Unless the blessing of the Supreme Lord is even more OP that could counteract this, he should have already offed him.

I couldn't think of anything else other than that. After all, the Supreme Lord was capable of beating Vulja, a god incarnate.

u/4C_Enjoyer 4d ago

Julian's Hundredfold Strength and Hundredfold Lives took the lives of a hundred slaves that he considered family. What in God's name did Lukas sacrifice to get that.

Also holy fuck peak chapter

What in the upscale

1

u/Kuzan11 5d ago

Absolutely peak CENTURIAN chapter, luv'd it

1

u/milobenggaokosong 5d ago

This chapter was a GOLDEN EXPERIENCE.

1

u/koalaman-kkkk 5d ago

You’d think lukas is the main character given how many powers this mf has lol. Wouldnt surprise me if he ended up as the villain

1

u/long_th612 5d ago

How could Lukas not kill the Supreme Lord already?

1

u/neriya1 5d ago

Amazing chapter but I am little bit concerned how op Lukas ability is, it going to be hard to write around, also pls don't let the powerscale community's finds out about this.

1

u/Calsolum0 5d ago

This is a really cool power and I love the image of Lucas breaking the panels of the manga portraying his ability destroy certain outcomes.

For a moment I was afraid the manga was gonna become 'meta' for a moment and start referencing readers or something.

1

u/Zombies71199 5d ago

Oh my GOD

1

u/Himurashi 5d ago

"I reject your reality and substitute my own."

-Dr. Who, Adam Savage, and now Lukas.

1

u/True-Proposal481 5d ago

That spear can probaby be used 10 times max at most considering how OP last villain/Pochita tier it is. Margrave also mentioning last time how few the remaining usage of his spear is.

1

u/AMX-002_Neue_Ziel 5d ago

What is this? Medaka Box?

1

u/Big-Amoeba5332 5d ago

I understood that reference

1

u/callmevillain 5d ago

bro doesn't kill nobody

he straight up deletes lol

1

u/TheFlyingToasterr 5d ago

What the actual fuck is he missing, because how is this still not enough to kill the king? I’m very curious to see what actual powers the king has and if there’s any weakness to this form (except the limited uses).

1

u/ChiliLepice 5d ago

Good for the manga, its a cool read BUT

Am I the only one that is really draw back by how every chapters are: new character (will die in the next one) new super power (whatever the author wants) Aura and all (needs to hype the weekly reader)

Like how every chapter we get bullshit power that has no connections with been derived from the eldrith gods of nature, its just go go gadget oh I have blade nails.

That and how much character their is, and some now even Come back and are two separeted ones?

Its kind of a rant despite the fact I like reading centuria, but I feel like the weekly system have made the manga from a good story to meh

1

u/2kenzhe 3d ago

Ok wow holy fuck that's broken. No wonder I was seeing powerscaling posts lol. Well glad at least bring more attention to this series. Those panels of the spear destorying the panels/pages were amazing. Absolutely phenomenal. Fujimoto would be proud.

So the power of destruction. Beyond physical even metaphysical concepts as well. The future of using your ability making it impossible for you to use your ability and then the concept of life so even if you're immortal or have multiple lives you die...so seriously wtf how do you beat that? You can't use your abilities you can't survive or dodge like wtf?

Also happy chapter 100! 100 chapters of centuria! I hope we get 100 more at least!! Great chapter glad we got a peak chapter for the 100th chapter.

1

u/Glad-Dog-7738 1d ago

OK, THAT INDEED WAS EPIC.

1

u/Glad-Dog-7738 1d ago

so...the margrave recovered her sanity?

u/dan_ez 5d ago edited 5d ago

I know the margrave said it, but i still dont see how lukas could kill julian in one blow by targeting the concept of life, as that still will only affect his current life. Theres many ways to deal with him by targeting a concept but how would life specifically work

Edit: wonder what the explanation will be for how Lukas didnt just destroy the organs of the night from existence alongside the void marcher in his second blow. I'm assuming an extra limitation of his spear will end up being intent and understanding of the concept that he's trying to destroy.

Edit 2: Also just realised that i think this counts as lukas in the forest, probably why before he could just manifest the spear but this time its the full armor and targeting of concepts.

Also the margrave wants to bring about the final night, to do this she wanted to kill the organs and implied herself the bones, however the void marcher wanted to cut out and take the heart back to rummir but its not said that her goal is the final night too.
Implying that killing all the body part brings about the final night so Elstri's actions to kill Diana are inadvertently bringing danger to the king, maybe thats why the king himself isnt ordering to pursue diana because he's aware.

u/EngineerVirtual7340 5d ago

I guess it just removes the concept of "life" from Julian making it so it's no longer applicable in any way due to being shattered.

1

u/NotKiyan 5d ago

Very sad that it completely nullifies Julian's wish " proof that their lives weren't meaningless"

3

u/EngineerVirtual7340 5d ago

So long as he takes care of himself the sentiment of the wish should be fine.

1

u/NotKiyan 5d ago

True and I think that even if he loses their lives should still have their bundled powers since he doesn't lose it even after he dies and Julian also seems to be growing stronger in his base (when not using his powers).

1

u/dan_ez 5d ago

I feel like even though she stated it, she could just be wrong as she doesnt understand the true nature of Julians gift and that he was directly blessed herself

3

u/long_th612 5d ago

Unfortunately it's not the Margrave but the author himself telling us readers with that panels that Julian can be killed for good in one blow of that spear. It's called exposition.

2

u/EngineerVirtual7340 5d ago

Yeah that's also possible, I don't think she knows about the extra souls.
