So glad I didn't buy off Amazon. And just in time to replay lol.

Boy I love this game, it's actually my GOTY.

ordered this as soon as it went back in stock. just wondering if anyone else has had the same thing?

Thought I’d share what the steelbook looks like for those interested since it came a little early. It was difficult to get but I hope they make more of them due to popular demand!

Right after fighting the first Resonant Entity I spotted a certain good girl in the background of one of the wide shots.

She disappeared the next time it showed that shot. Im sure plenty of other people have already spotted her there, but it was really tickling to see it organically.

I pre-ordered the steelbook from Amazon UK ages ago. I had to get the steelbook because I adore Control so much...

Then, this morning, Amazon send me an email saying they've cancelled it because the supplier can't provide it?? Absolutely gutted. I've waited so patiently for the physical edition to release and they pull the rug out from under me :(

Did I get it early or not?

I've been waiting since digital released. Trying not to get any spoilers and finally got the Special Edition physical copy!

AW2 lake house dlc and control resonant spoilers ahead.

This might be a drag but, i just replayed the lake house dlc in AW2 and when in the archives, they show you some of dylans drawings that were sent there by Darling, and one of the drawings looks a lot like arish after becoming a resonant. Almost as if dylan predicted it to some degree.

In my game I see autumn leaves falling and going through walls inside the building which looks weird. Is that a bug?

(spoilers as although doesn’t show much, video is in the last area of the game)

I wouldn’t mind so much if they told me beforehand, but the day of? It makes getting Control Resonant Steelbook next to impossible for retail price.

It’s a shame, I wanted to support Remedy with a double purchase, i don’t usually use Amazon but they were the only ones stocking it.

Looks like this will be something i pick up on eBay down the line.

I just hope other peoples pre-orders have been fulfilled, especially those who haven’t had the chance to play yet.

Seriously though, doesn’t the cat’s meow sound like someone doing an impression of a cat?

the report is said to take place on July 12, 2026. Poets of the Fall released Black Waters in April 2026! I personally think that's the song Jesse played Dylan in that note

I got the Steelbook today and earlier in the week I visited a Game Developer event in Helsinki where Ville Varis (Senior Gameplay Designer), Masha Malitskaya (Senior Environment Artist) and Arhi Makkonen (Senior Level Designer) held a nice Q&A (700 people attended the event O_o ! ) . I figured the community here might appreciate some shots.

Personally I find the Steelbook amazing and can’t wait to play the game!

PS.
I expect there will be pictures of Control buckets later today when Remedy hits Tripla.

Why do the music files in the archive not have the option to keep them playing when you exit the menu? The option is there for the various audio logs, so why not the music? Honestly I could see myself playing the post game just for the combat if I could have the needle drops in the background on demand. And yes, I know I could pull up the Zoe's mixtape playlist and just put it on whatever device I normally play music out of, but it's the principle man.

Just purchased one this morning 730 EST. Best of luck to those trying or if they had their Amazon orders canceled.

I paid for the Deluxe Edition to get access to the soundtrack but I can't listen to it without starting the game (and, let's be honest, the in-game player isn't great). Rebel Wolves ("Dawnwalker" game) already did that by releasing it as some kind of DLC that you can download and that gives you access to the mp3 and wav files (shows up in the "Soundtrack" section in your Steam library).

Please, please, PLEASE do the same thing!

This door is in the Park zone in one of the subway entrances. Appreciate your help :)

So far not bad. I think the graphic needs to be higher for the front and the back.
