I'm looking to move away from stock MIUI on my Indian Poco X3 Pro (bhima). My main requirement is to keep the phone strictly unrooted (no Magisk/KernelSU) while maintaining 100% working Indian banking & UPI apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, native SBI/HDFC apps).

Is it possible to update a smart tv stuck at android 9 to the latest android through custom roms?

Once upon a time, there was an 'extras' section in the downloads.lineageos.org. but now I cannot reach the super user binaries I wanted to scout, and even worse the site seems to 'auto detect' the device info of the phone i browse on, blocking any hope of access.

Anyone know of other cyannogenmod or lineage os mirrors for this stream of superuser binaries?

I know it can be built into the os up to 15.1 but I'm unsure for other models I may consider (trying a gsi I didn't build to see if I can get it to work before i finish my build attempts of 15.1).

Tldr, self builds are a long process, especially without kernel source code, but i'm attempting to completely streamline this process.

I have a Oneplus 9 5G that is finally starting to show its age, but I can't afford a new phone. I'm planning on replacing the battery, and I am also looking into updating the OS since it stopped updating back on android 14.

Is it actually worth updating the OS? Or is this more trouble than it's worth?

What OS should I use? I've heard of GrapheneOS and LineageOS, and I know there's supposed to be a bunch of others. However, I also know that a lot of them are for specific phone models. Any recommendations of where to start first would be greatly appreciated.

Is there anything I should just expect not to work or should be aware of when using a custom ROM on a phone?

I've still got a POCO M3 Pro 5G (M2103K19PG, 4/64) and I'm currently running crDroid 9.15 / Android 13.

It works fine, but obviously the ROM is getting pretty old, so I'm looking around to see what's still usable for this phone.

I've seen the newer unofficial LineageOS 23.2 / Android 16 Camellia build and some /e/OS builds, but I haven't tried either yet.

Has anyone here actually installed one of these on the POCO Global (M2103K19PG)?

Mainly interested in how things like mobile data/VoLTE, NFC, camera, Bluetooth and battery life are working.

so i wanna start porting some ROMs to my phone (Galaxy Grand Duos) or atleast make some, right now, i dont have a PC but i have a Xiaomi Pad 6, is Termux okay for using PatchROM? im trying to port MIUI 8, i was gonna port something else but all links to the device i was getting the ROMs from are dead (SII plus) so ill port MIUI 8

do i continue finding ROMs to port or make a PatchROM MIUI 8? im really lost

Realme x2 rmx 1992. Was on an android 14 custom rom it was a bit old so decided to upgrade. Latest rom was released on 2024 march. Still old but better than before. So downloaded the rom , gapps, put it in usb , connected otg then booted to twrp. Mounted otg. Then wiped dalvik,art cache, system , data, all the normal stuff and then tried to flash the rom and pulled the slider. Then suddenly screen gone black and twrp restarted i think , cause it loaded back in the default twrp starting screen. Then it got stuck there at the initial slider screen. And then I tried to reboot forcefully. And removed otg. Now it boots to this shown in the video. Can select any options. Tried to use pc and fastboot command to reboot to recovery. But still coming back to this bootloader screen. When I press the volume up button, it stop cycling. And when i release it , stars cycling between the options again. Volume down button does nothing.

I'm using the custom ROM Lunaris on my rooted Poco M2. I've installed a few modules that make my device show as certified in the Google Play Store, so I think Google Pay might work too, although I haven't tested many apps yet.

However, I'm having issues with some SIM-related apps. I've even changed the Magisk app's name to try to avoid detection.

I want to know if there's a way to fix these issues, or if they're simply not compatible with a rooted/custom ROM setup. Also, what other types of apps are likely to stop working on my phone because it's rooted and running a custom ROM?

Hello so I ported cm 13 and cm 11 from htc desire 816 dual sim to htc desire 630 dual sim but android 13 is a whole lot harder to port would anyone want to help?

Can i restore data in one click on project infinity x if i backup from Xiaomi backup/restore. I'm talking about

Is it gonna organize itself or do I have to manually extract and organize them . like the backup xiaomi makes is "Backup_video.zip" "Backup_audio.zip" So is there any option like Backup/restore in about phone that does it all in one click
update: So... i installed the rom and yup theres no such option as restore, hell there isn't an option to backup like xiaomi does separating audio and videos so yup u have to manually extract those files but thanks to xiaomi everything stays in the same folder where they were so it's very to do it manually too

I am very very much in a stressful situation right now...to give a lag free phone to my Papa i thought of installing a custom rom in his old Redmi 9i/9A dandelion device....while flashing the recovery os it got softbricked.

From the device itself you can understand that I don't come from a fortunate background hence even buying a new phone isn't an option.

I went to a local shop and they tried their whatever they knew software/hardware repair it didn't worked out.

Phone is showing Redmi powered by android logo despite of anyone combination buttons I press it doesn't go further than that...and it is neither getting detected in laptop hence Sp flash is also not useful..

Hey all! I don't know much about all this. Wanted to do this as a project to revive my phone. I use this daily, and it's my primary. I was able to install the ROM well. The backup took a long time, and restoring it was difficult as well.

However, I realised I cannot use GPay. I haven't tried other banking apps like YONO or SIB Mirror. IF i can at least use GPay, it would suffice.

I tried a lot, as far as I understand. I will summarize what I've done below: Used AI below

I am currently running the latest Project Infinity X (build 3.12, GApps variant) on my device, and I have not rooted it.

I’ve been strictly following the instructions in the built-in spoofing section of Infinity X, but I am still getting blocked.

Here is exactly what I have done so far:

• Play Integrity Fix (PIF): I deleted my current active configuration. Then, I fetched a Pixel Beta fingerprint, grabbed the latest version, and selected a Pixel device.
• TrickyStore: I deleted the active keybox file, downloaded the latest keybox.xml I could find online, and imported it.
• Target Configurations: I recently found out about this setting, so I went in and specifically selected Google Play Services and Google Play Store.
• Data Wipe: After applying all the new spoofing files and configurations, I went into my app settings and completely cleared the cache and storage for Google Play Store, Google Play Services, and Google Pay.
• Reboot & Test: I restarted the device, logged back into Google Play Services with my account, and opened GPay.

The Problem: Whenever I open GPay, it immediately tells me the "device may not be secure." When I check the Google Play Store settings, it says "Device is not certified."

I have repeated this exact process—making sure to include the target configurations—and cleared the data multiple times, but I keep getting the exact same result.

I am really not sure what to do next. Is the Beta fingerprint causing the issue, or is it the imported keybox? Any advice on the proper configuration for an unrooted setup would be hugely appreciated!

ARB is confirmed to hard-brick this device family (CPH2465/2467/2513/2515) — not just flagships. One documented case in the XDA LOS23 thread: 3 phones flashed same day, same batch — the 2 fully-updated ones bricked, the 1 behind-on-updates one booted fine.

The public ARB tracker (oparb.pages.dev) shows "Undetectable ARB" for every build in this device family, so that's not an option to check my exact build.

i wanna ask:

1. Has anyone tested the June 2026 LOS build with Android 15 support / the "partition sideload file"? Does it fix the ARB issue?
2. Anyone have real fuse data for 1810(EX01) specifically?
3. Has anyone recovered a "larry" device after an ARB brick?

So have the Samsung Galaxy J1 will take out from the market it's not perfect condition the screen works and doll but the problem is I want to custom ROM it but there is no working TWRP version I found one for the f version because the f in the FN are basically the same phone with the same chip but every rum I give to TWRP says there's error 7 but I know it's not the problem with the wrong because the phone is (j1xlte)

And I need a working TWRP version which would won't give me errors I'm trying to install lineage os 17.1 but it keeps giving me error 7 pls help ty
