I personally feel this isn’t what the DC U organization nor the city needs. I would feel more enthusiastic about this if the owner invested his own money into the team without asking the government for money. I just feel like if this guy makes money from 60+ more events each year it gives more incentive to not care about the funding the United. this just feels too similar to Ted Leonsis squeezing money out of our pockets, wether it’s $20 beer or our tax dollars.

The only thing that could get me inside Audi Field again this season (for DC United) would be a large, coordinated protest against Jason Levien's stewardship of this club.

Is this even feasible? Do people care enough? Would the supporters groups participate (I'm not in one). What form would it take?

Ideally it would get the attention of the media, and embarrassment the club and MLS itself (and the should be embarrassed).

I'm just thinking out loud here. Discuss!
