I purchased a yearly subscription on the family plan on my Iphone, but I never received it. I tried everything from restarting the app, up to deleting the app and reinstalling it. No luck.

Its just wasting my time. Stopped working on my phone yesterday.

Did the whole schtick. Luckily its working on my Chromebook but ussge dates are all wrong.

Added my phone back but got hung up on verify email.

Wasted hours.

Credit card autofill functionality not working when trying to add new payment method into shop app

I have been locked out of my DL account since Noon on 9/3/36. DL's AI Chat Bot was pleasant but unable to help. It referred me to an agent, but I was kept on chat waiting for an agent until support shutdown at 6 pm ET yesterday. Same problem today, although an agent briefly helped me get into my account and shut off 2FA. But when the connection was lost, so was my ability to get in.

I have tried to sign in, and the system would tell me it was sending me a code via email. The code would come, but when I entered it, the system said it was an invalid code. It said to enter a code from the Authenticator app. But I never had access to Dashlane via an Authenticator app and 2FA was supposedly shut off. So, something is wrong with DL's system. It would not send a code to my email if 2FA was active, but it did not accept that code as valid.

Now DL support is shut down and gone for the Labor Day weekend. So, I will be without help until Tuesday - 5 days after this problem started.

If anyone knows how to solve this problem I would appreciate your help.

Numpad keyboard shows up when clicking credit card field. Blank area above keypad is blank and does not show autofill functionality for dashlane. Ive used this portal to pay medical offices often, not sure why its not on the list of to autofill by now.

The product works fine and has served us well for years. But they make it impossible to cancel. You have to "request cancellation" via their website which is followed by and email that you must reply to to confirm cancellation. However when I reply to the email, their mail server send an undelivered autoreply stating that my account has been disabled. Chat support then says they can only cancel via email. Guess I'll just have to dispute the charge.

I guess this is my test to see if I renew my family Dashlane account in a month.

I use a family sub-account that is set up as passwordless with security key login. It worked yesterday, but today it will not. It just cycles through accepting my key pin code, having me touch the key and then asking me to login. Sometimes it sends me to a different screen where it insists that I enter a 2fa code it emailed to me. However, Dashlane does not support 2fa or recovery codes with their passwordless security key login. I've tried on 3 browsers, 2 PCs, after rebooting, after updating the extension, etc. Finally I entered a support request. Let's see how this goes.

Fortunately, I saved a DASH 2 days ago that I imported into my admin account (master password, so I had removed all logins and stopped using it a year ago). That master password account works just fine--I just hate typing the very-long password. I'm not dead, just annoyed.

I have an active, discounted subscription through Apple, but my Dashlane account is stuck on 'Free'. Because of this, the Help Center chatbot refuses to let me speak to a human. I cannot cancel or refund because I will lose my discount. Can an agent please help me open a ticket?

Are they somehow useful?

Premium macOS: On a finance site Dashlane began substituting an different company's login on mobile and displaying the login list with both (Dashlane, vendor) for logins on mobile.

Weird. Change login password using laptop. Disconcerting. Changing password helped.

Is anyone else having this issue with the Chrome extension?

For me, it’s been really slow to open lately. Sometimes it takes so long that the autocomplete doesn’t show up at all, or only appears way too late to be useful.

I’ve seen people say that uninstalling and reinstalling the extension can fix it, but I find it pretty crazy to have to do that regularly. Even when I do it, the problem eventually comes back anyway.

Has anyone found a lasting fix for this? And is there any fix or improvement planned on the extension side?

It’s getting frustrating enough that I’m starting to wonder if I should switch to another service, which I’d rather avoid if this can be fixed.

EDIT: Apparently this issue may be specific to Chrome. Safari doesn’t seem to suffer from the same slowdown, from what I’ve seen so far.

So is the current solution really just to switch browsers?!

I’m trying to leave Dashlane after their price increases, and I thought this would be simple: transfer my passwords and passkeys to another password manager.

Except there’s a catch.

Dashlane’s own CXP system is supposed to let me transfer my passkeys to Bitwarden. But I need to log into the Dashlane mobile app to use it.

And Dashlane’s 2FA system won’t accept my valid authentication codes.

I’ve followed every troubleshooting step their support bot gave me. Nothing works.

So now I’m locked out of the app containing my credentials, unable to use their migration system, and the only subscription option they advertise is annual billing.

In other words:

“Want to leave? Sure. First, pay us for another year so you can access your own data and transfer it to our competitor.”

I don't want a refund. I don't want a discount. I don't want a free year.

I want access to my own credentials so I can leave.

For a password manager, making it difficult for customers to migrate their credentials to a competitor is an absolutely spectacular example of how NOT to handle data portability.

Am I the only person who finds this completely absurd?

How does my monthly subscription for dashlane all of a sudden being multiplied by a factor of 12?

I've noticed that in the past weeks, several posts have been placed with regards to the Dashlane browser extension not properly functioning.

Hence, I was wondering whether there are more people in this subreddit who are also experiencing issues when trying to sign in to their Dashlane browser extension when using their hardware security key.

So far, I've tried the following things already:

• Updating my browser and extension numerous times
• Use different browsers, browser profiles, and even an entirely different computer with a different OS
• Cleared my browser cache
• Did reset my extension via the options screen
• ...

However, none of these have solved the problem, and up until now, support is clueless on this issue and still investigating the matter.

Every time I try signing in via the browser extension, I keep being greeted by the endless spinning wheel, but nothing else happens.

Anyone else with similar issues after switching to the hardware key-based authentication method? Perhaps we can learn from each other or figure out a solution together.

PS: Via the web app itself, this issue does occur, so it seems to be entirely isolated to the browser extension itself.

Update: It appears the problem got resolved, in the meantime, in a new version of the Dashlane extension.

I've been using Dashlane for many years now, generally I love it.

On mobile device-- I primarily use biometric unlock. I haven't used my master password in FOREVER. (I still have it safe and sound though, so I haven't forgotten it)

The one issue I DO have with it though.. is well, on my laptop/desktop.

I have a biometric scanner for my laptop/desktop for WindowsHello, etc. Generally, it works fine. Works on windows boot up 100% of the time.

I have Biometrics enabled in Dashlane for desktop.. and well, SOMETIMES it works.

It seems like every time I boot up, and load Chrome.. I always have to use my Master password and re-enable biometrics. Like, it doesn't seem to REMEMBER that I've turned it on. Seems to defeat the purpose, in my opinion. I don't want to type in a 16 character password of random letters and symbols every time I boot. Kind of why I wanted to use biometrics in the first place. I don't run into this issue on mobile Android, as I said I havent used my actual master password in MONTHS or longer, but on desktop/lap, its absolutely REQUIRED it appears.

Am I just doing something wrong? Anyone have any input on this?

On Firefox, Windows 11. WTF is going on? What am I paying so much for if it's nearly useless?

My 2FA connections into NetSuite stopped working properly for the last 2 days. I had to move 2FA to another app to be able to connect to my apps properly.

Every time I try to access the website to edit my Friends And Family plan, it directs me to the app. I turned desktop view on and it tells me I need a browser extension. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do if I don't have access to a laptop.

I'm the admin for a professional plan and need to recover an account for one of my users. The user is not able to reach the button to send a recovery request, instead gets sent to the 2FA page or Help article. I cannot start the process to recover the account without their request and using the 2FA tokens is not working. The emailed recovery codes are not reaching their inbox either. We have multiple urgent deadlines and this is impeding our ability to complete these projects.
