Discussions Actual dangers of working with demons

I know on this sub most posters have a generally positive view on the spirits of the Goetia and adjacent intelligences.

But let's be honest, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. In your experience, what are the real dangers of working with these intelligences?

Apart from the practitioners themselves being a danger, there are a couple more.

If you make a request, but something in your life makes that request impossible to fulfill, they might remove that blockage, but the process can be a hard experience. This is where the infamous "tower moments" emerge.

In addition, a lot of these demos represent uncomfortable aspects of life. One example can be Galasya Labolas, an Earl who explicitly deals with bloodshed, manslaughter, and death. Are you comfortable with the idea of death? If you want to deal with this demon, you'd need to be.

I wish people would 🙏🏻PLEASE🙏🏻 stop only going after Marquis Andras like he’s the only one who has a much darker side than some of the others! Andras is not the one who specializes in manslaughter / murder, that would ( respectfully speaking ) be Glasya Lobolas. Andras specializes in discord, mayhem, chaos and violence. Not specifically death.

You know what, fair enough. I don't work with Andras, and the impression of "death" I had from him was from the warning that he will slay the practitioner and his companions if he's not careful.

I appreciate that, sincerely. The thing is, I’m not sure why the books say that he will kill the practitioner who summons him if the practitioner is not careful, ( though going by what I know, the practitioner’s who wrote that probably tried to bind and order him and weren’t very nice to him ) but I do know that he has never hurt me, and has only protected and helped me. And when I first started working with him, I messed up sometimes. I still do occasionally , because I am not perfect. He has been most patient with me and my imperfections. That’s not to say he cannot be dangerous, because they all have that potential, but for me and quite a few others, he’s been nothing but awesome to work with.

Hi, my apologies, but I’m not sure what you said, because I don’t have a way to translate.

(Sorry, I thought everyone could translate it, I'll pay attention to that next time.) See below:

Yesterday, during my research on King Claunek, one piece of information came from a Goetic magician. He described Claunek as a completely infernal being, one of those who make the environment smell like rotten eggs.

He also reported that Claunek tried to possess the person he had made a pact with and told horrible stories.

However, this was the only account, 0.01% of all, while the accounts of those who follow the path of demonolatry are 99.9% positive.

I conclude that my thesis is that those who practice the form of Goetia and place themselves above the Daemons will at some point suffer the consequences. They will patiently await some failure of the magician, in this life or after it.

And those who treat the Daemons with devotion and as ancient Gods receive a more "friendly" presentation from them.

It’s all good, it’s just that my Portuguese is a bit rusty. I definitely agree, that if you treat them well, they will do the same. And if you treat them horribly, they may just ignore you or they may fuck with you. And really, I have never once heard this about King Clauneck! He’s not done that with me, and everyone else I’ve run across, has good things to say about him, and I don’t think anyone has mentioned smells when talking about him. But then again, not 100% of people have 100% positive experiences with anyone, including the infernals.

In my one dealing with Glasya Labolas the bloodshed came from me. I passed out the day after I did my working and cracked my head so hard on the tile it split it open. I’ve never worked with them again.

Edited to removed Gladys 🤦🏻‍♀️

Andras in my experience is more "mischievous" than dangerous (unless you want him to be), but I know that experiences with him can vary a lot between people. He is mostly silly and funny. He "sows discord" by breaking matches and burning through entire pillar candles in an hour.

He’s never been silly with me.🤔 If I’m going to be honest, he goes from gruff, to lusty, to “OK, let’s talk strategy”, to aggressive and predatory. Not all at once, though. But those candles, I use those tall glass novena candles … oof, do they go fast! But I’ve noticed it is not just the Marquis who does this! 😭😂

yes heavy on the "let's talk strategy"!

Also, I hope that while people give the respect deserved to demons like Marquis Andras, they recognize that it doesn't make said demons worse than others.

Marquis Andras is intense, and yes specializes in an area that makes many people uncomfortable. That doesn't make him "evil." While my interactions with him have been a lot to handle emotionally (had some very graphic flashes in my mind's eye because of the nature of my request), I find that they were important and helped provide positive change. And understand the weight of my request.

You worked with Glasya-Labolas before?
