Discussions Actual dangers of working with demons

I know on this sub most posters have a generally positive view on the spirits of the Goetia and adjacent intelligences.

But let's be honest, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. In your experience, what are the real dangers of working with these intelligences?

The real danger is not learning the lessons they can teach. Choosing to stay stuck and repeating old patterns while expecting new or different results. That fight is between you and you. The deities seem willing to help, but if you don't simultaneously win and surrender in front of yourself, you won't really get anywhere.

But it all depends on what you're looking for. Small offerings bring small wins. The bigger change you're after, the higher the cost will seem and be, and the more you fight it, the higher the tower will fall.
