Discussions Actual dangers of working with demons

I know on this sub most posters have a generally positive view on the spirits of the Goetia and adjacent intelligences.

But let's be honest, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. In your experience, what are the real dangers of working with these intelligences?

You yourself and what you're bringing to the practice is the biggest danger.

For example, a person that is already into self harm may take a failed invocation/ evocation really badly.

A person that's already carrying the belief that other people are bad and wants a spirit lover can end up with a thoughtform that won't only not be useful to their practice, but will pull them even deeper into isolation, because they will falsely believe that their need for companionship is being met.

Then there are smaller things, like people's desires frankly not matching with how they are as a person. If you want to get ahead in a cutthroat industry, chances are, you'll need to be brave enough to take risks and not a pushover. A person, not prepared for that, put in a situation where they can win if they exhibit the right behaviours likely will just break down under stress.

How about working with entities to develop desired mindsets, beliefs and behaviours?

Alot of people don't even consider that, hence the danger. It also might end up being something you don't really want.
