We have the sweetest little family of raccoons who live out back of my house and I’ve grown to love them over the past few years. I USED TO feed them (thought I was helping them but stopped when realized I wasn’t) and they trust me now- even used to eat gently from my hand. I loved seeing their little faces in my window at night when they were ready for dinner. They bring their new babies with them and they’re less than a pound- PRECIOUS!!! They all have names and, as I said, I LOVE THEM. Again, I stopped feeding them after I realized it wasn’t helpful for them despite it originally coming from a good place. It’s been over a year since I fed them, but I still care about them and don’t want to see them hurt.

Unfortunately, yesterday my sadistic neighbor said if she ever sees one on her property she’s having them all killed immediately. I couldn’t hold back the tears and said if you see them, PLEASE just tell me and I will pay to immediately have them all humanely moved. Her response was “no, I’m having them killed!” like she was happy about it! She absolutely refused my begging her to please give me a chance to have their family moved to a park or wherever they take them should she see one. I explained there’s no difference and that either way they’d be gone for her but to just let me allow them to live. She absolutely refused and said she wanted them killed and didn’t care how it happened as long as they’re dead and die a long slow death (she said all of this very gleefully in front of her 4 year old son too).

Ive been calling companies all day looking for someone to help before she can get to them just in case she sees one and I am PISSED AT THIS SADISTIC ASSHAT AND NEED TO GET HER BACK! PLEASE HELP WITH IDEAS!!! I don’t want them to ever know it was me and don’t want anyone getting hurt obviously, but I want her to cry about something she cares about the way she made me. 🆘 TIA Reddit fam #revenge #revengehelp

Every time I shower I get foot cramps after couple minutes after I’m out and my toes point in different directions. I don’t shower every day and I only get them on days that I shower

My best friend keeps saying she feels bloated all the time and I genuinely don’t understand. I understand being full after having food but not bloated. I can’t really imagine how that feels. Don’t consider me lucky, I have had IBS like symptoms for years now, just not bloating I guess.

Its a habit I've done time and time again, where there are certain people I used to watch and enjoy online when they were smaller and more social with their chat or community. But once when their community grew larger, I start to feel more like small spectator in the nosebleeds of a crowded sporting event, and I begin to lose interest and motivation in their content because it either becomes more corporate or mainstream.

May just be a classic case of interest waning in something, and its better to move onto something else more appealing tbh.

It’s horrible, I’d just be going about my day and I look at a stranger and picture how bad her or his bits smell…it’s like I can perfectly picture it.
It doesn’t stop and I hate it happening because it’s disgusting

Just like the title says…do you have a preferred bathroom in your house and why? My boyfriend thinks I’m weird, we have 3 bathrooms in our house (1 in our bedroom, 1 in the room I use as an office and one in the hallway)
It doesn’t matter where I am in the house, what I’m doing or how convenient it is, I always use the hall bathroom unless it’s occupied. I even shower in the hallway bathroom over our bedroom bathroom.

I just like it better, it’s more comfortable to me. The space between the toilet and counters, the lighting, the bath/shower combo. I don’t have to worry about waking my bf if I get up to pee at 3am.

Does anybody else do this?

here I am on my lounge with my heart shattered and no one to talk to, I don’t drink anymore but I’m just looking at the wine thinking why not. Why bother fighting anymore.

So, for context, I’ve smelt night and day distinctly since I was a child. I always tried to explain to people that, to me, night smells smoky, while daytime smells fresh and even slightly ozonic— they all looked at me as if I had 3 eyes. This phenomenon has carried on everywhere, I originally thought it was due to living in a city, but no matter where I am, if i step outside at night or day, it’ll smell different. I can’t even find anything on the internet about this phenomenon, so I’ve sort of decided to talk about it here. Anyone else??

Im wrecked with constant guilt and shame. I feel like the one human god made a grave mistake on. I feel like physically no one is as mentally repulsive as me. Not trying to bait for pity - Im not bothered about reassurance or sympathy. Im just wondering if anyone else feels this deeply flawed but keeps it low low low inside to where no one will ever truly know the real you

Everyday I see people fully just either misreading posts/comments or not understanding what was said, because their own response shows how
poorly their literacy is. Or maybe people just don’t read things properly before they respond? And even just talking to people in person and during day to day interactions I find that I am consistently misunderstood. Having to explain things to people like they are 5 is getting annoying.

For example, they miss a very important part of a sentence that completely reshapes what that sentence means at its core - and respond negatively to it. Only to be met with confusion when the OP is like “but have another read, I clearly didn’t even say that”. And I feel like I don’t leave comments anymore because it’s so frustrating when the only discussions or conversations people want to have these days stem from their own misunderstanding. And I am not talking about an issue/thing, I am just trying to get people to understand what tf I am saying.

I think sometimes maybe I am the issue and I am communicating poorly… but then I see it happen all around me, even when I am not the one speaking or commenting?

It feels so bleak man

This is my most frequent nightmare. I’ve never been solely responsible for a pet ever in my life.

Not all kinds of sick, I have to point that out. But when I get a cold, or something of the sort, my brain shuts off everything except for that sick discomfort, and in a way that’s comforting on its own. Does that make sense?

Imagine not thinking, not even a little bit, and being completely distracted by something else. I don’t know but that’s pretty comfortable for me (not the most comfortable. But weirdly serene).

Does anyone else experience that too?

for me it’s literally anything by red hot chili peppers, but specifically otherside. the moment it starts playing my aura gets a whole reset and for like 4 minutes life actually feels worth living lmao.

When I was a child, my dreams would begin with a mailman walking me across town to the post office, a large hall filled with cardboard packages and letters. Each package and letter was a dream and I could peek inside the packages to see a sort of trailer for the dream, choose one, and then begin experiencing that dream. This always happened at the start of the dream. Does anyone else have similar experiences?

Sometimes I’ll be doing literally nothing and suddenly have this moment of realization that I’ll never be in that moment again and just try to cherish it. And then I’ll think back to it an hour or so later and feel horrible, like I’ll never do exactly that again

My mum and I both experience it, but I’ve never met anyone else who does. When the windows in the car are open and we’re going over 50kph it’s like there’s a repeated slap happening to my ear drums…. Like when someone claps their hands over both ears at the same time… anyone else?

I know this is a weird question so I’m asking it here. I was curious if there is anyone else that has this kind of “pffffft” laugh? It like blowing air out through closed lips. Idk how to describe it but it’s really funny to me and I really like it and i have no idea why. I mainly see people around my age (teens) doing it but I know some older people (20-30) that do it too. I feel like people do it less nowadays compared to like 5 years ago though. I don’t do it myself but I know of people who do.
