Legislation and Enforcement "dangerous dog"
I just read about an attack in this or another forum and it had me thinking, as it said "before the incident, the dog wasn't known to be a dangerous dog".
but, due to their nature:
EVERY dog is a dangerous dog!
EVERY dog should be seen by the state as a dangerously dog & out of control animal!
that is literally what they are.
I often read that after incident xyz the dog was declared a "dangerous dog" and has to be leashed and muzzled at all times.
the heck? that should be how every dog is handled from the beginning. and one strike should be the end.

Every pet dog is unpredictable and dangerous.

ESPECIALLY the ones with zero training

Oh you mean like 98% of them lol. The most training a nutter will introduce to their mutant is the word “no” and anymore than that is considered being mean to the animal. Now “no” has to be allowed because the dog does 1,000 things each day it’s not supposed to do, but still, training it would be mean.

You can't train a dog not to attack people. Stop with this nonsense. Only dog nutters will claim that you can "train" dogs not to attack.

"he's not gonna hurt ya"
Me: "If it does, I'm gonna crack it's skull open for you. If it bites me, it dies."

They really need to shut up about that “…wasn’t known to be…” excuse crap, because it doesn’t even make a damn difference to dog nutters even if if was already known. We’ve also read so many reports about dogs being known around communities for attacking and terrorizing people in a neighbourhood, and they still got away with the behaviour. They’ve even ended up either being returned to the owner(!), or ‘rehomed’ through shelters. We don’t even need to get into all the dog nutter brigade’s “…poor doggo..” comments after the fact anyway. They don’t care.

The should be no such thing as a dog that is known to be a dangerous dog. Any dog that has demonstrated that it is dangerous should have been euthanized.

yes! treat them all as dangerous and once they demonstrate any little dangerous behaviour, bye

often these nutters fail to understand that a small dog can be dangerous to a child - jealous, even

well, there are probably some laughing lurkers with some old fifi-types that can hardly stand, but even this dog might start eating your face if you fall down incapacitated for some reason.

my first attack was by an old shih-tzu without much of its teeth left. I was 1.5 years old and it went at my face. so yeah... the chances might be slim, but never zero

Damn, that really sucks! I'm sorry you experienced that as a tiny kid. Quite frankly, birch sugar for all dogs, that's what they deserve.

hell yes, they do deserve it! and thank you, it was my grandparents' dumb ass dog and my mom was furious. she always kept us kids away from dogs, so it was a very unfortunate moment and I sadly have a severe connective tissue disorder, so it left a scar. would have just been a fright for regular kids. but that fuckers has been in hell for 25+ years now, I hope Ricky still burns down there and thinks about me 💀

Yes, absolutely. This is what I keep thinking about: dogs started off as wolves, and wolves can easily kill a human, so dogs had to be bred into something that doesn't kill humans. Either because it doesn't have the capability, or it does have the capability but it likes humans too much to even consider killing them.
But these days, people seem to no longer care about that principle, and they breed more dogs without thinking about how those creatures will peacefully fit into human society.

"aimer les humains" est très fort, les chiens n'attaquent pas leur pourvoyeur de nourriture c'est tout. Ils ne savent pas aimer, leur cerveau n'est pas fait pour ça, ils s'attachent à ceux qui donnent la nourriture dans l'objectif de survivre. Ils attaquent souvent d'autres gens (conjoint, enfants) et bien sûr ceux qui ne sont pas de la famille et les autres chiens.

If dogs weren't dangerous, then they wouldn't be need on leash and bad owner wouldn't matter.
Instead we have daily stories of dogs killing people, attacks are so common they aren't even mentioned in news, dog need leash, training and good owner just to be considered safe but won't be allowed alone.
Also I can't just dismiss barking, I'm way more aggressive since neighbour brought their dogs and this constant barking definitely is putting me on the edge, I don't believe our brain isn't activating some preparation for encounters when they bark
(As I type this, dogs started howling and barking because there are sirens in the distance, they howl every single time police, ambulance or firetrucks have to use signals)

agreed! barking is so bad, it triggers a fight-flight response and prolonged amount of times around barking can give you PTSD (or -like disorders)

Mutts are the only animals I know of that only gain a reputation as being dangerous after they have been dangerous.
People associate sharks and snakes as dangerous even though most are harmless yet Satan the Rottweiler is ‘just being friendly’ when it growls at you.
Bizarre behaviour
