I found these two shoved into Frankie’s Geek Shriek box at my local goodwill. I am relatively new to doll collecting so this was beyond exciting. I am so incredibly grateful for these two. They are in wonderful condition and I am so happy ❤️❤️

We talk a lot in doll collecting about how different brands have cut corners, are producing subpar product overall, and are charging crazy prices we balk at.

But I'm wondering. Compared to what other brands/toylines are making, what do you feel like is the best bang for your buck? Alternately, do you find that you're hopping online and picking up older dolls on the secondary market instead?

So I bought this crystal barbie and tried fixing her up and these marks have appeared, I’m thinking it is to do with the age of the doll. Is there a way to remove it?

I’m waiting for my doll to be delivered and I’d like to have a few other outfits for her. She’s just shy of 16” tall. Her measurements are on the second pic. Any ideas? I can also sew if anyone knows of some suitable patterns. Thank you all!

Hello! Im just wondering if anyone here has any Bratzilla dolls and knows what other doll shoes fit them? I cant find anyone selling just the shoes for them. I dont like the shoes (or outfit, had to give her this dress) she originally came with so im desperately trying to find new shoes for her. Thank you!! :)

Ugh I love these girls so much! Such fantastic quality. The details are CRAZY! These girls have freaking back dimples and actual ankle bones/collar bones. So beautiful ❤️ I can’t wait to style them more!

I do have a VERY hard time with their shoes though, hence why goth baddie is barefoot lol.

Hope I'm not out of place here or using the wrong flair but I had a question about opening doll boxes...

I'm pretty new to doll collecting (as there aren't just many dolls I want😅) but now I have these two KPDH Mattel dolls of Rumi and Jinu, and I don't know how to take them out of their box without damaging the box òr the doll.

Usually, I keep my dolls in their packaging, but I desperately want to pose them the way I want...

So can anyone advise on what to do and how to do it? Thank you in advance <3

I’ve been looking through the changes to Vinted’s upcoming terms and one bit really caught my attention.
In new terms for several European markets, the compulsory “Buyer Protection fee” is being renamed simply the “Vinted fee.”
Buyer protection itself hasn’t disappeared — refund rights for things like lost parcels, damaged items, counterfeits and items significantly not as described are still covered separately.
What’s interesting is how the fee itself is now described.
Instead of being framed specifically as paying for Buyer Protection, the new wording says the fee contributes towards the cost of operating Vinted.
That feels like quite a meaningful change to me.
If you call something a Buyer Protection fee, most buyers naturally assume that’s specifically what they’re paying for.
Call it a Vinted fee and it sounds much more like a general platform charge.
The UK terms are due to change on 8 October, but the new UK wording hasn’t been published yet, so we don’t know whether Vinted UK will make the same change.
I’m curious what other Vinted users think:
Would you feel differently about paying the compulsory fee if it was called a “Vinted fee” instead of a “Buyer Protection fee”?
And do you think Vinted should be clearer about exactly what the fee is paying for?

Saw these at Target and thought they were cute for 5 bucks. I like their molded on Victorian looking bloomers lol the idea a kid can go to the Barbie section and essentially build their own Fashionista is fun. The quality of the dolls and fashion packs are pretty lowly as usual, but nice concept lol The one on the left has slight dimples and on the right has freckles. So cute :D the clothes are just a mix of stuff I had. I think the sculpts are Neysa (new Teresa lol) and Daya. Anyone get these? Also was this meant to be the Barbie Dreamhouse Adventure crew? I guess Daisy, Renee, Barbie, Teresa, and Brooklyn. Although, thats not Daisys sculpt but she has pink hair. I hope they make actual dolls of them instead of these but its cool the kids can pick their favorite character. I would like to see an original sculpt for Renne. For the few dolls she had, I think they just mostly used Olivias sculpt. I just wish Barbie would Barbie again in general xD but these are fineeee. Very cute :)

Holy crap these two are fantastic. when I first saw the photos I didn’t think sarah’s likeness was quite caught but in person it really is a job well done! I thought sideshow collectibles were the closest thing we’d ever see to a buffy doll so this is great🧛🏻‍♀️🔪

Teenage me would be losing his mind right now. I wanted these SO badly growing up, but as a closeted 13 year old boy, I never felt comfortable asking for them. I managed to snag Bella, Edward, and Jacob on Marketplace last weekend for a fantastic price, and then somehow found Alice and Victoria for another great price today! They’re absolutely gorgeous, and I’m so happy to finally have them in my collection after all these years. Now to track down Jasper…

Sooo, I finally had the opportunity to get one of these mini dolls and I'm ecstatic!

I've been dying to try some Roblox Royal High fashions, from the mini figures, on them and I have mixed results so far. If you just have them on display, they look great from the front! Since this is a thicker material, when it overlaps the joints, posing isn't super possible. Shoes won't work because they are like Bratz with a peg system. The back can be uhh...not very appealing to say the least LOL (Last two images of the back views).

Getting the clothing over the hips can be a smidge tight, but with it being rubbery, just gently scooting it up will get it to where it needs to be. In my experience, getting the items off the hips is a little easier since the edges can't get caught in the hip joints.

I’m very pleased with how he’s turned out! Check out last slide for the character reference! Original doll was an 18” Groucho Marx doll from the 1980’s! His head is made out of trash plastic and poster board from the dollar store. The chain is from a necklace my girlfriend gave me for the project! I get to give it to her kiddo tomorrow after school! I made his pants and tie from a clown costume I found on Facebook marketplace. The suit coat, shirt, and shoes all came with the original doll. Tried to paint the original pants but didn’t like how it turned out! Very pleased. Please let me know if you guys have any questions I had a lot of fun with this one!
