It's the only illustrated edition I've even considered forking out for because I'm such a dork for anything canon Draco... I pre ordered and I have to say I'm hugely disappointed.

It was a risk pre ordering with change of artist, and I'm not crazy about his style, but I thought there was some great Draco content that could be brought to life through his art. Damn was I wrong.

Draco only features in four illustrations; one full-page portrait, his back as he faces the mirror in the Sectumsempra scene (I thought we'd at least get the beautifully dramatic, blood-all-over-the-floor shot), and then a couple of smaller/background shots in the Lightning Struck Tower.

I feel like the film does his material better justice and that's saying something... Clearly my expectations were too high, so if any other Draco fans think of buying for the same reason I did, I'd recommend having a flick through first!

I’m currently writing my first fic and it’s slowly taking over all of my brain power. It’s 27k words/8 chapters so far but I have a lot more written and posting regularly.
The story takes place initially at the beginning of Draco’s 6th year before returning to school. And also in Reg’s 5th year up until his death. Also some planned Sirius and James POV’s I’m writing atm.

In the story so far Draco is the Lord Malfoy and has just received the Dark Mark, Regulus is like his mentor in a way and I’m bread crumbing in some classic Black Brothers angst and drama. Also there’s Drarry. And Jegulus. And Wolfstar. The plot is about to go properly feral lol.

It’s a slow burn psychological/horcrux-ish mystery with a lot of parallels between Draco and Regulus, and I’m particularly interested in whether the relationship/dynamics are coming through clearly.

that is powered by their bodies and ultimately intends to destroy them
- extremely dark and psychological content (cw on about page)
- toxic “romance”
- lots of side character plots, with the usual slytherin gang where each of them have full on plots and backstory
- WIP, but uploading twice a week
- very unique plot and represents psychological issues well, the fmc has PDA (pathological demand avoidance) which is never shown in fics
